Vino Volo

Cute spot in the thick of all the hustle and bustle that is Terminal C at EWR.  Great wine selection & small plates options.  Need more bread for the cheese & charcuterie, but overall your best bet in Terminal C.

An oasis of calm in the middle of hectic terminal C, Vino Volo has good wine, better-than-average food (for an airport) and nice, comfortable seating. The service is good, the guys know their wine and with the exception of when the business travelers head home on Thursdays, seats are usually plentiful.

As long as you're in an airport and you're going to be paying a bit more for whatever, you might as well get something nice, right?  And this place has really comfortable seating, an amenity I usually completely ignore in my restaurant reviews (and often fail to notice altogether), but which is really relevant when you're spending the day in a cramped airplane seat.

The small plates are quite tasty.  And the wine tastings are interesting and reasonable.  (Though I feel that they missed a real opportunity by not referring to their tasting sets as "flights".)
