I have been through here a few times with coworkers for various going away after-work drinks or celebrations, it is a short walk from the hospitals. Â Service is slightly slow and the wait staff seem typically a little strained or rushed, which I don't blame them for in a busy noisy bar. Â Later in the night it can get pretty loud and screamy college-crowdy which is not really my scene. Â Decor is more minimal with big open spaces and a nice solid central bar. Â Bar food menu, I have just had appetizers. Â A good place to stop by quickly for drinks after work now and then!
Review Source:"Would you like steak fries or tater tots with that?" Now, if this is how the question is asked, wouldn't you assume that the fries or tots come with your burger? After much dining and many rounds of watered-down cocktails, the bill comes with a $15 tab for five orders of fries. Apparently, they cost $3 each. The fries are good but the staff very sneaky... and then the waitress says -- that's the first time anybody has complained about the fries -- making one feel like a cheap f**ck. Nope. Not coming back. Been treated better elsewhere.
Review Source:Stopped by to have a drink while we were waiting for a table at Davanti Enoteca. Â We were seated at a nice little table overlooking the street. Â Our server was pretty nice, and there were some drink specials despite it being a Saturday evening (I think it was because a UFC fight was going on?). Â My drink was really weak, though, probably because it was a drink special. Â I don't think I'd choose to come back here (would like to try the wine bar next time), but this was a nice way to spend my time waiting to be seated at the restaurant.
Review Source:Wasn't really a big thing for me in a sense that it was a sports bar with some rambunctious guys who were pretending to be cool while playing pool in the corner.
The bartender was an amiable fellow who offered me a VERY good beer: Matilda from Goose Island. Absolutely loved it!
Again, nothing too special about this place. Going with a good group of your friends is probably a great idea.
Came here on Saturday afternoon. Not too big of a crowd. Thought there would be a few more people for opening day of college football. A friend from FL was in town visiting and the waitress graciously put the Gator game on for us.
Potato skins were very cheesy and delicious. Fried ravioli was good. Spinach dips was ok, I've had better - the chips were way too salty.
Decent draft prices.
Would come back and enjoy again on an afternoon. Not sure the late night dance scene would be my thing though.
Well hello $5 martinis on Friday.
I've been here on a Friday and Saturday and both times were ok. Friday was a mix of business and college people. Saturday was mostly college people. Drinks were $6 for a vodka soda.
I was not a fan of the music. It was all top 40 when I went. I would like some variety, but no all top 40.
I haven't tried any of their food, but it looked good from what I saw.
I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here, but if I wanted some drinks and was nearby I would give it another shot.
Not bad for a Friday night. Not great either. We came in for a co-worker's 35th birthday party. The waitress never checked on us, took my order, or even looked at me over the course of two hours. Blech.
The DJ was playing standard top-40s, so I would have been fine with it, but there really weren't many people in the bar so no one was dancing.
As a side note, the bar seemed fine with letting the party bring in food and birthday cake and I do appreciate that when we're with a big group for a birthday.
I recently went here after work with a few of my co-workers, the place is not bad. It wa a Friday nite, around 5:30 or so and they have $5 martini's, how can you beat that. I had the Purple Rain martini was on the sweet side, but the Lemon Drop martini was good and strong, both were really good. The chicken nachos were delicious as well. The doughnut dippers were fantastic. Nice ambiane very attentive waitstaff, I will definitely be back!
Review Source:I am a huge fan of the overall aesthetic and detail located inside Vintage Lounge. Â The place is absolutely gorgeous and the cozy atmosphere makes it a one of a kind place in the city of Chicago embedded in the "VINTAGE" Taylor Street area. Â I had an after work event and the accomodations were more than satisfied.
During this Christmas holiday all the decorations are just the perfect clean touch a place that beautiful needs to bring out the holiday spirit. Â I had a smile on my face enjoying the spirit of companionship with my friends and colleagues. The bartenders were super friendly and the vibes are always good. Â I believe they offer the most bottled beers on Taylor which was strange to read in a post above about the selection. Â
The security staff are all friendly and attentive to your needs. Â A great group of people to be around that the neighborhood appreciates. Â I know there was a new change in management and I hear the overall look of the place is about to have some changes in the new year. Â
Very exciting because this venue has a lot of potential. Â Also I spoke to one of the bartenders and she told me they are launching an even more beautiful new beer garden this spring and summer coming ahead. Â I will definitely be back within the near future.
I must say i used to come her all of the time last year for bears and hawks games, but wow has this place changed.... and not for the better. Where we used to sit for every game is now for bottle service (and i bet we spent more and tipped better than the people sitting back there now.)
Their advertised specials no longer apply during game times.
The service was alright and the food was decent. I just dont like what this place has become.... that is all
Celebrated my birthday here last weekend with a group of 35+
Service was painfully slow and the staff (including management) was extremely rude- with the exception of Michelle behind the bar that did her best to accommodate us and kept a smile on her face. You would think they would take better care of large groups considering the amount of money that was spent.
The "event coordinator" was in such an awful mood- and one of the staff members even went as far as saying "I hate this fuc*ing party!" out loud lol really?
If you don't like your job, don't take it out on people that are paying your salary and are there to have a good time. Quit and find a job doing something you love.
I went here with a group of friends from UIC, and being the only guy from a different college, I was excited to give it a shot. Â It was a nice place: dim lighting allowing for decent nightlife atmosphere, friendly crowd (a woman at the bar got the bartender's attention for me), and it wasn't super crowded that you couldn't move anywhere. Â
The bar tenders were pretty attentive too, I didn't have to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink. Â My favorite part was the DJ. Â He was playing house music, which I love. Â Most places I've gone to play top 40s all the time and that can get sooooo old, no matter how drunk you are haha. Â
I had a great time here, I hope to go here again.
Came in on a Sunday night to grab some food and watch the game. Â We Liked our food: salad, hot wings, flat bread. Overall, we appreciated the easy going vibe and you can really hang there for a while.
They are a few of mixed reviews on here, maybe it's because the name is a little misleading? Â The decor is vintage, but it's not a lounge, it's a bar. Â A roomy bar with interesting light fixtures, wide menu and good service.
Overall, mixed feelings. Tried their Chicago-style burger, actually pretty nicely done. Our waitress was friendly. But..
1. Unimpressive beer list. When I drink beer in a bar, I usually get adventurous. But there's nothing to explore at this place. I literally wanna go to Binny's after seeing that list;
2. Horrible sound system. The Bulls game was on, but the commentators sounded completely muddy;
3. They have at least five screens but chose to put on Blackhawks game only before the Bulls game finished. No respect to the Bulls, no respect to you.
Two stars. Binny's wins.
Vintage has a ton of potential, but your experience will greatly depend on your reason for walking through the door. The decor is decent and has warmed up quite a bit since they opened. Speaking of, the place has changed a lot, for the better since opening last year. One steadfast has been the solid food, which is the reason I personally go. All of the burgers are pretty tasty, especially the pretzel buns. I like the rush st and blue collar personally. They are huge so plan on taking some home to Fido. A better deal is the tuesday special cheeseburger for five bucks. A standard burger with homestyle steakfries is a great deal and more than adequate for dinner. Use your saved cash for a  four dollar domestic pitcher.  All of the pizzas are decent and generally better than the local delivery with  a special on thursday night. Thin crust with red sauce and choice of topping. The sausage and cheese sounds boring, but really hits for cheap. Others already mentioned the fried mac and cheese and fried rice balls which I rec. as well. I tried the vintage salad and was not impressed. Way too much effort put into jamming everything in the garden into one salad.
Now that being said, I have had a few undercooked burgers served to me, the staff can be unbelievably slow, waitresses seemingly purposely ignoring you and the one other table occupied at any given time. I would give Vintage four stars except that they are consistently inconsistent. Room for improvement but likely to adapt, respond, and get more consistent. I would not go here to party though.
Update 5/12/11: Â Huge improvement on many ends, starting with the great service (our waitress even remembered us), volume of speakers at reasonable level, and great atmosphere for game 5 of the bulls hawks series. I went for the Swiss Connection burger with Grunier cheese and was not disappointed (kudos for cooking it correctly as well). Given the $5 Matilda addition, and seeming growth in many different aspects iof the restaurant, I am oficially re-ranking you Vintage, Yay Im a fan finally, you have grown so much since last summer.
Vintage "Lounge" is a rather large, cavernous establishment that I'd call more of a bar than a lounge or restaurant. Â As you enter, straight ahead and a little to the right is the bar with a pool table adjacent to it, there's an area with low tables for dining to the left and then what looks like a lounge area in the back on the far left. Â It has a look and feel like it can get clubby on the weekend. Â Like I always say, pubs not clubs. Â
Anyway, we were only grabbing a drink or two and a few bites at the bar. Â We grabbed a margarita pizza and a few of the burger sliders. Â The pizza had a crispy crust, marinated tomatoes, cheese and basil. Â I don't eat plain tomatoes, but these cherry tomatoes were delicious thanks to the marinade or whatever it was they were doused in. Â Each bite was a crispy, cheesy, slightly sweet delight. Â As for the sliders, I was shocked at how tasty they were. Â They came with the burger, cheese and one of the aforementioned cherry tomatoes. Â I'm putting these sliders up there with the best - PJ Clarke's. Â I was genuinely stunned at how good the food was. Â My expectations were exceeded.
I'm not much on service, being doted on or pampered, but service was in line from our bartender, Michael. Â
As for the vibe, well, I would say that I would come back either early or on a weeknight, as I can tell that any scene here on the weekend wouldn't be for me unless I were to go tanning for weeks in advance and dropped the last letter of my last name so that my name ended in a vowel. Â Seewumsayin'? Â If I'm doing Italian late night on the weekend, I'm doing Richard's. Â You can put it in the lock box.
I always make note of the bathroom situation in a bar. Â This place only has one toilet in the mens' room. Â I would imagine if the place gets packed that this is a big problem, as this is a pretty big place. Â You might want to add a urinal or two, Vintage. Â Knowuahmsayin'?
It's four stars for the weekday, not-too-late evening experience.
Just trying to go to new places on a regular basis. Â This place has a good mix of people if you don't want to go to a "This/That" type of place. Â There were 20's, 30's, 50's, families and a few Soprano types. Â
The service was acceptable, but the food delivered. Â They had a nice menu, but nowadays you never really know until you taste it. Â Menus are seductive. Â :) Â Upscale bar-food that is delicious. Parking was a breeze too, on Friday at 830P.
Lounge..? Really, where? Cuz it's not here. It's just a bar with a space on the side as big as my bedroom that you can kinda lounge at. Err yeah, nice...... lounge. That was pretty disappointing. Anyway, its pretty mellow the times I've been- even on a weekend night with the music super loud. Speaking of music, I liked it for the most part. They had great 80s music going at first, then when it got later they played more top 40 stuff.
Service is friendly but slooooow and flaky while the food is solid. I'm a fan of the tots, fried macaroni and cheese logs and their portabello mushroom sandwich. They have cocktails named after Chicago neighborhoods... awww how cute. This is an okay casual place for food and drinks. The not as family friendly Applebee's with only one toilet per gender- if you will.
Was here last night for a social. We were placed in the back but it was a nice cozy space. Several appetizers were passed around including various sliders (beef and chicken), chips and dips but my weakness were there homemade kettle chips! They were baked yet crunchy and salty, not at all greasy.
Otherwise, great specials on drinks and food. But I still have yet to rate on its real food :)
Headed to Vintage Lounge for the first time on Saturday evening for a light dinner and drinks and was presently surprised! Â The place was a bit slow when we first entered at 8:30 but things steadily picked up. Â
We tried the arancini appetizer and the flatbread with parm and arugula, and both were excellent. Â In fact, I was still drooling over memories of the flatbread the next morning! Â
The staff at the restaurant was great too. Â Our waitress (I forgot her name, but a cute, shorter gal with long dark hair) was fantastic!! As the evening wore on, the chef, freed from cooking duties, circulated the room and talked with guests. Â When we complimented him on the flatbread, he gave my entire party his card and told us to talk with him about a hook-up on an appetizer the next time we were in. Â
As we were on our way out around 12:45 pm, the crowd was really pouring in and the dance floor was packed. Â What a nice addition to Little Italy!
I live in the West Loop, and have been hearing a lot of buzz about the new restaurants on Taylor St.
I decided to head out for Sushi, and instead going to Katsu down the street, I came here.. reason being they had a sign for $5 burgers.
The place is huge but inviting. A lot of space for groups of people, and I was ultimately thinking, perfect for my Birthday.
It's cozy with ample seating, as well as many TV;s to catch games on.
This place is great for gatherings, and the menu is great.
Not too pricey, and has great food for sharing.
We started off with specialty drinks.
I had the Old Town, which was a vodka and purple liquor drink with 7 up.
It was for sure poured heavy by our bartender.
Our bartender was very nice, and was helpful with suggestions.
For the App, I had the Acapulco Flat bread, which was absolutely great, and was perfect for three people.
Chorizo was perfect and there wasn't a mound of unnecessary crap on it.
The Shrimp Chipotle Skewers were to die for.
Perfectly grilled large shrimps spread out with chipotle dressing.
They weren't skimpy at all with these.
Dinner we went with Ahi Tuna Sliders-The amount of tuna they put on there was insane.
The mayo wasn't too overpowering.
The $5 angus burger special was good.
It waz a juicy burger with any topping you wanted for only $5 and comes with fries.
PBR was $2 which was nice, and we even got a couple drinks on teh house.
I am excited to come back and see how it will be for an after dinner lounge experience.
Love this place... excellent food specials, great drinks and friendly bartenders.
Was there the Saturday before Halloween and the place was packed... great DJ... and the Black Widow Martini was amazing!!
Went back again this week on Tuesday and they had $5 pizza and burger/fries specials which were very good... Pizza is thin crispy crust, just how I like it....
Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Â Food was piping hot and served promptly...
Will most definitly be back...
Have since switched over from my previous hangout (Hawkeyes) across the street, because this place is slightly less expensive and MUCH classier...
First and last time going. Deer in headlights hostess and waitress. Our group wanted to shoot pool, drink and eat. Drinks were watered down, wings arrived cold, cheese/fruit platter had spoiled grapes. Abysmal, non-existant customer service- we were basically ignored. Took forever for waitress to check on us, multiple requests to get change (4) and forever to get bill. Not smart considering they've only been open since August. The decor drew us in but the experience made me regret suggesting it.
Review Source:I've been living in Little Italy for a little over a year now and had been looking for my "go-to" bar on Taylor Street. I think I've found it in Vintage Lounge.
The food, especially the burgers, is delicious, and like most people have commented, the decor is really impressive. I took a buddy of mine there for dinner the other night and he couldn't stop raving about how nice the place looked -- which guys don't normally do.
During the day the place is pretty barren, which is a shame, but people usually flood the place during the weekend nights. I've been recommending this bar to any friend that will listen for the past couple months now, so hopefully we can transform this place into Taylor Street's "it" spot for more than just the weekends.
I threw my birthday party here last weekend and the staff treated me like royalty -- not a surprise, considering I paid for bottle service and the VIP section, but I give them lots of credit for helping making it a great night. My friends are still buzzing about how great this bar was and how they want to come back.
Congrats, owners of Vintage Lounge -- you've got yourself something special here.
I Â actually really like this place. I waited to go a couple times before I yelped. I came here for my birthday and twice just to have a few drinks. The bartenders, security and the overall service is great. I have been lucky with service here. Our waitress kept asking how we were and the appetizers are delicious! The drinks like Mrs. T stated are nice and strong. The music is a mixture of all kinds that make you dance no matter what age you are.
I havent been here on in insane night so I cant comment on service then. But I recommend it either way. Enjoy!
Hopefully this was just a one-time thing but my friends and I had a TERRIBLE experience there. Â
We were there for a party, and we all accepted the fact we'd have to wait in line since it was 11 and there were multiple parties going on (even though i think it makes no sense to wait in line to get jnto a bar on Taylor Street). Â Between the annoying girls behind us and the annoying girls inside knocking on the window I thought I was going to lose it. Â
I felt bad for the bouncer for a little while, but he seemed to let himself get overwhelmed and started making bad choices and losing track of people leaving and going in and what parties they were part of (not to mention the fact that he kept letting his friends in). Â At any club I've been to where they're at capacity, the bouncer usually let's people in by GROUP not one by one, especially if the group is small, like only FOUR girls for example. Our group got separated twice which was just plain dumb. Â A bunch of people walked out, the bouncer had already checked all four of our IDs, then he opened the door, and as soon as only my sister walked in, he closed the door, and told us we had to wait for more people to walk out as if we were supposed to know and as if that made sense. So she just waited inside the door until one more of us could go in. Then some random girl came to the door to talk to the bouncer, called two girls to the front of the line, three or four more girls joined them, and they just stood in the doorway in front of my friend and me. It didn't help that they were the annoying girls who were right behind us the whole time. So the only people they ended up cutting in line were my friend and me. Â Ridiculous.
When we finally all got in, we ended up leaving after 5 minutes since my two friends who we were meeting there already had a terrible experience, which included waiting 40 minutes to close their tab. It definitely was NOT worth the wait and annoyance.
[I started this review at the end of August 2010, but here it is and it's still accurate]
I went here for my bachelorette not too long after the bar opened. I didn't have any food. But... drinks were good (and pretty strong). The crowd was friendly, and the DJ on that particular Saturday night was awesome.
He played mostly house music and blended a few 90s favs (like Energy and Push that Feeling on) with a few current dance beats.. house, hip hop, pop... (ie. Dynamite, Stereo Love, and Restlessness). I had a blast.
I'll be returning.
I had such high hopes for this place...
My husband and I live in the area, and had been here early on after its opening about two months ago. Â When we went the first time (around lunch), the wait took a while, but the food was good. Â I figured that they were still working the kinks out.
I was wrong.
When we went for lunch today, we walked in to about ten people in total for a place that easily seats close to 100. Â There was one server and one bartender, but for ten people that seemed manageable (or so I thought). Â
We sat down, and ordered our drinks (just soda). Â A couple came in after five minutes and sat down near us. Â We got our sodas back, and they were both FLAT...the grenadine was the only thing helping my "cherry coke."
We waited for the server to come back, but she didn't. Â My husband goes back to the bar to report the flat sodas and the bartender agrees. Â She asked him what we wanted while we waited for the syrup to get changed out. Â We ended up getting water from the bar (it was faster to go to the bar than to wait on the server-whee). Â Our server finally caught on to there being a problem, apologized and took our order for lunch (a burger for me, and sandwich for my man). Â
And then we sat and waited. Â And waited. And waited some more with no updates on our soda or food. Â No staff asked came by to ask how we were doing. Â All in all, it was around 30 minutes. Â For ten people sitting in the whole place, Â this seemed a little uncalled for. Â
The couple who came in after we sat down (remember them?), are served their food! Â I'm glad they at least those people got their food. Â The server did not update us at that point-on anything.
Once again, my husband walks up to the bar to find out about the soda AND the food. Â He walks back with the server, and she tells both of us there was a "computer error" and that our food should be out soon. Â So I guess the people that sat down after us did not have the "computer error"? Â Or maybe it was human error. Â I guess only the cosmos will know.
Oh, and btw the soda is still not fixed...
I am hungry, and tired, and I pretty much told her it like it was. Â She said she was sorry, and that she was the only one there. Â If there had been double the people there, I would have forgiven her and the situation, but there weren't many people there. Â I had to bluntly ask her how long it would take for the food to arrive. Â She said ten minutes. Â Ten minutes for a burger and a sandwich...me thinks the order was not put in. Â If it would have been two minutes, we would have sucked it up. Â Not for ten.
We cancelled our order and walked out. Â In all of my existence, I've never walked out of a restaurant...ever. Â We ended up going down the street to Leona's, and were seated and served our lunch within 15 minutes of arrival. Â
I can't speak for this place at night as a lounge, but as for the day, don't go. Â I guess if you longingly want to look at other people getting served food with inattentive service, then this is place for you.
A nice lounge in my favourite Little Italy. When we went there, it was filled with UIC students. We tried donut dippers with Cosmo drinks. It was strange that they had Wine but was not displayed on the drinks menu.
Staff was very attentive and caring. The decor is kind of quite.Everything is very reasonably priced.
This place looks very nice, is very inviting, and the burgers were great. I think there should be a better beer selection, especially on tap, but it works. The service and the atmosphere however were terrible.
We walked in off the street in the mood for bar food but not in the mood for the loudness of Hawkeyes. I was excited reading the menu, especially the variety of burgers, including kobe beef. Our waitress barely paid attention to us (my boyfriend and I), instead flirting the entire night with the table next to us of middle-aged men that were buying her multiple shots. There were very few tables with people, yet it took us 15 mins to get a beer. I will say, the food runner was very friendly and nice, and the food did taste great.
Then the UIC kids on a bar crawl walked in. We were done with our food and beers by then, waiting for the waitress to acknowledge us and bring our check. But there was fresh meat to flirt with so we were forgotten. We finally flagged her down and our menu had 2 drinks rung up on it that weren't ours, so we had to wait again. Then I tried to pay with credit card, but after waiting 10 mins for her to pick up the check, I took back my card and laid down cash - barely enough to cover the bill but at this point she didn't deserve much of a tip anyways.
Final review: I'll go early to avoid the college rush for those burgers, but by no means will expect speedy service.
When I came on today to review Vintage Lounge, I was kind of surprised to see all the positive reviews...
Today the GF and I went to have lunch at Vintage, since we were walking in the neighborhood and it was new. Â We walked in and grabbed a table and a few minutes later a waitress came by to take our drink orders. Â I had a beer, she had a Maxwell St. martini. Â Beer was fine obviously, but the martini (which I tasted,) had a subtle note of rocket fuel...ok..not so subtle. It was awful.
We ordered sliders and wings, since they were the special, and were excited to try the new place. Â
Well.. we never got to try it. Â We waited, and waited, and waited, and by the time it was 3:30 we had enough..roughly 30-35 minutes. Â The dining room was empty, just a few people at the bar. Â Our server never came by to check on us, ask if we wanted more drinks, etc.
We left 10.00 cash on the table, notified the bartender that we were leaving, and walked out. Â
As we walked down the street, we heard a "YO! YO!" from behind us. Â A muscle-T bound man ran down the block after us...catching up and saying why did you leave? Â I responded, saying that we had waited forever for our food, and we were hungry, so we left. Â He said "we should have come and talked to me." Â The GF responded "I'm sorry...we could not tell you were a manager from your t-shirt uniform."
The man became slightly combative, raising his voice, and carrying on about how he would have comped our meal if we would have come back in. Â
To say the least..we kept walking.
A nice older woman listening to what had happened (she lived in the building next to Vintage) said that "she would expect them to be in business for not another month and that we were not the first people to leave and her hear it."
I hope Vintage changes its ways, its too bad to have that in such a great neighborhood.
Solidly decent bar with good food (for a bar). Â The draught beer selection is a bit light, but they had some drinkable stuff. Â All around, the prices seem reasonable for the neighborhood/city. Â The chicken wings were definitely not your average wings - well worth the $0.25/apiece we paid for 'em on the Sunday special.
We'll definitely be back.
When you enter the Vintage Lounge- you cannot believe that this place used to be a hardware store. Â Well- gone are the hammers and paint, and in their place, the owners have done a nice job to create a bar for gathering, eating and dancing on Taylor Street.
The decor has an old feel to it (thus the name Vintage, perhaps?). Â Big chandeliers, wall sconces and lots of dark wood. Â We went for dinner and were quickly seated and given menus. Â Surprisingly enough- on a Friday night- there were only about three other tables with people at them. Â If you can- grab a high top by the windows- cute little lights hanging over them and always something to watch on Taylor Street.
The menu has your typical bar food but if the sampling  we had is any indication of the rest of the menu- it was all quite tasty with large portion sizes.  There are a variety of appetizers (the fried mac and cheese stuffed with ham looked good as did the spinach dip), a solid range of salads and plenty of sandwiches (mostly burgers to choose from)
I had a basic burger with tater tots (my fav!) and my friend had the steak salad and split pea soup. Â The food came up quickly by a very friendly food runner.
Speaking of service, our server Ashley, was friendly, and on her game. Â In fact- everyone was very friendly here- including "Tiger" who, while I am not sure what role he has- busser? Â was great to tell us that we should come back after 11pm as they remove the tables and bring in a DJ for dancing.
Sounded like a good idea to us so we wandered back to the Vintage Lounge for a little music and dancing later in the night. Â An unexpected find for Taylor Street. Â And the patrons are a little older than some of the other "college bars" that the UIC students seem to flock to in this area.
Solid food, nice ambiance, friendly service, AND dancing? Â This place has a lot going for it.
This is a nice spot that fills a particular need in the Taylor street area. Â My sister and I dropped by around 10 on Saturday, and they were playing kind of chill jazzy music and serving food. Â We had delicious Caprice salad skewers (mozzarella, basil, tomato, balsamic) and delicious, hot melty arancini. Â Then we sipped our drinks - my sister got a classic Manhattan and i got a "Pilsen" which was basically a sweet maragarita on the rocks. Â At that time is was a fine time for sitting, eating and drinking.
Around 11:30 the atmosphere switched up and the DJ started spinning some sweet 90s dance tunes (no sarcasm at all here, I love that stuff) and the dressier ladies and the um, particular looking guys came in to accompany them. Â A dance spot on Taylor street - why didn't anyone think of it before?
