No trip to Savannah (or Charleston) should go without an alcoholic brain freeze. But apparently I was the only person in my gang who thought drinking grain alcohol is totally fine (and it is). They have 3 sizes to offer, but I always stick with the $6 smallest one. They don't taste as good once melted, and $6 size is best for that reason in my opinion.
Also, they charge by size and not by amount of alcohol. So why would someone order anything other than Call A Cab (cherry flavor, not for me) or Attitude Improvement (orange flavor, my go-to)?? Those are the only 2 that have grain alcohol and rum in it. Â Is it toxic, probably, but I swear you can't taste it. Â To lighten it up, I did mix my Attitude Improvement with Naked Willie (which only has rum, but is sugar free) on 2 (out of 3) occasions. There are multiple locations, one on River Street, one in City Market, and one over on Tybee Island. And yes, I had one from each :)
Don't forget you can walk and sip in Savannah. And oh, they serve food, but really, who eats there?
