I regularly go to the Wing Stop in Northlake and order either 15 or 25 atomic all drums. Never had a problem with them and they were always good. Last night I was driving past this wing stop and decided to stop in and get 15 atomic drums to go while on the way home. Turns out they wouldn't sell me just 15 atomic drums like every other WS was perfectly happy to do. My only option was to get the combo with the choice of a side I can't eat and a drink I didn't want. It is what it is and I asked for that. To my horror they tried to charge me close to $20 for them. I questioned the price and the owner / manager stepped in and was unbelievably rude. I walked out mid-rant and drove 30min out of my way where I asked for 15 atomic drums and paid less than $10 for them!!

Not all Wing Stops are created equally and please to judge all based on this one. I love the atomics that Wing Stop sells but can't imagine what would ever make me go back to this place!!

Paul,

My "facts" are in fact "straight" and I am not wrong! I stand by my comments and the accuracy of them. You may want to consider that readers of my review can check my post for accuracy. How much would a person have to pay for 15 atomic drums in your place? I would suggest that you seriously consider the possibility of opening a Wing Stop in Westmont. If it's anything like the one I went to in Chicago it won't last long. On the positive side the girl (don't know her name) behind the register was polite, helpful and friendly. My problem was with the menu and pricing.

Ok, so this is a chain restaurant, and I've only been to this particular one today, but I've been to three other Wing Stops in the past, and I'm assuming the food is pretty much the same, as it all probably comes frozen from the same vendor(s). So, I've liked WS in the past, that's why I keep ordering from here. My husband likes boneless wings, so that's what I've always ordered from them. They are great, love the sauces, love their fries, pretty decent and consistent customer service in all the WS. I like that they have an app and I can order the food with my phone then pick it up in aprox. an hour.

So, tonight was Super Bowl. I really could have cared less. I needed food on my way home from work. When I tried to order on the app, they weren't accepting any further online orders due to Super Bowl. Alright, so I called them, anticipating the worst. I'm told 14 min. Ok, that's not bad at all. I get there, they are adequately staffed, and busy, but not super busy. Why couldn't I just order on the app? But whatever. The food was hot and ready when I got there, the staff was competent, and all that was appreciated.

So, my husband and I are doing this whole low carb thing, so I decide to order the regular wings to cut down on the amount of breading, with a large side of coleslaw. So, now, the reason is coming that I am giving them 3-stars instead of 5. The wings were really terrible! The wings were super skinny with like barely 2 bites of meat on each little wing-ding. I've actually NEVER seen wings that small and skinny, and then frying them just shrunk them down even more and dried out a lot of the meat, making each wing mostly bone. So, I might have given it 4-stars and just said, order the boneless wings, but come on! The place is called WING STOP for goodness sake. A boneless wing is nothing more than a chicken nugget made from the breast, not even a wing. If your name says wings, your wings should be rockin'. I will continue to go there but I will ONLY order boneless wings. The saving grace, the coleslaw was super fresh and delicious. I gave my husband all the wings and sat and ate the large by myself.

I order came home and found out they left things out and gave me the wrong sides. How hard is it to just read the freaking receipt. I do not get it. This is the 3rd time they've done this to me and last. There are other great wing places I can visit and get my order fulfilled with with what i actually want.

MMM hmm mmm wings.!! I've tried wings from differents restaurants and let me tell you wingstop can't be compare. Yeah, it might be pricey but I don't mind since the quality IS there. :o)
Customer Service - the young ladies are very nice and make you feel welcome.
Food- Love their fries with honey mustard or ranch.Flavors to consider hot, cajun, hawaiian, and garlic parmesan. Atomic it's alright, stopped eating them for a while and now they're to spicy.
In general Wingstop is awesome, I'm a loyal fan. ha.! :D

Definitely the fast food of wings, and I only use that term with regards to the quality of the wings. Regarding the other, more positive traits of fast food -- costs and speed -- this place is definitely lacking. Here's the breakdown!

Cost- Nearly $11 for 10 wings and a drink -- crazy. I'd pay that at Hooters or BWW because the quality is there, but for Wingstop? Naw, that's about $2 too high.

Speed- From the order time to receiving my wings, it took probably 10 minutes. Once again, it comes down to quality -- if they were hot and tasted fresh, then 10 minutes is NBD. But they weren't.

Quality- And finally, the meat-and-potatoes. Wings were of adequate size, but I've had bigger (that's what she said!). Parmesan Garlic was NOTHING like what I expected (something more akin to BWW Parmesan Garlic). WS's version was deep fried wings that were lightly coated in a "garlic" butter and sprinkled with grated parm... I mean, yeah, it was techinically "Parmesan Garlic" but maybe they should rethink the receipe.

As for "Hot," I must've gotten mild by mistake, because there was barely any heat whatsoever. And the sauce was strange ... a little too thin, and as someone had alluded to previously, was a little too vinegary.

There are definitely better places to go to get your wing fix.

Oh, and Paul, just because Wingstop is the #1 wing place in America doesn't mean this place meets the other Wingstop standards -- nice attempt at covering your ass though!

Tiny / Small wings, over done. a complete rip given the price..
Have eaten at the one on north ave/milwaukee a lot and the quality there is MUCH better than at this one (not sure why - theyre all franchised?)

I hate reviewing chain restaurants, but I Iove wingstop and I haven't had any problems with this location. Just get the cajun wings, side of ranch, fries, and side of cheese.

I prefer them over buffalo wild wings.

Wing Stop failed to deliver on fulfilling my wing needs for this weekend. Ordering the garlic Parmesan was a mistake. The HOT wings were weak. I admittedly am a wing lightweight also. I don't understand the pool of grease in the container?? Gross.

The only bright spot was the impulse buy of a couple of dinner rolls and veggies.

A note for MGMT - Make your staff give out plastic bags for to go orders. Nobody wants their car to smell like garlic because the garlic grease mix leaked through a paper bag.

I will not be back. BW3 is closer and better.

I have always wanted to try Wingstop. I am not one for restaurant chains, but who doesn't love wings? I was surprised just how clean Wingstop was and everyone there was nice and the wings came out real fast. It was an overall great experience and Wingstop is definitely a place I would go to again when I am craving some wings.

I came into Wingstop early one Monday evening. I ordered the 6-Piece Wing with the Cajun seasoning, fries, ranch dipping sauce and a drink. The wings and fries came out promptly and they were hot. Temperature and seasoning. I did not expect cajun seasoning to have so much heat, but it was not overpowering. The wings were a bit small, but the chicken wings were moist and cajun spices were flavorful, but the ranch dipping sauce cooled the subtle fire in my mouth. The fries were great too. There were a lot them and they were doused in a cajun seasoning too.
The overall meal was good and for the cost it was worth it too. Like I said before I don't do chain restaurants, but for Wingstop I would make an exception. Wingstop is an A-Ok place for quick and tasty wings.

It's a great night when you get excited when your phone beeps, only to see that it's an email from Wingstop.
And then you immediately grow sad.
And then you try to remember why and when you signed up for the newsletter.
And then you think, "If it was a good enough deal..."

I recently put out a classified "late 20-something wing lover recently moved to North Center ISO the perfect wing joint". Soon after I received a rather anxious reply from this fella named Wingstop. He promised great wings and a plethora of sauce options, including Cajun (my favorite).

I didn't know much about Wingstop, but he hung out with a few reputable stores in a nearby strip mall so I thought I would give him a chance. Our first date was just okay, I opted for boneless and decided to give the Cajun sauce a whirl. Sadly, the experience was mediocre at best. The fries were decent but I left underwhelmed.

Later, I convinced myself to give Wingstop another chance. Maybe this guy couldn't deliver on the specialty stuff. Maybe it was the classic buffalo wings that defined his character. Why should I be so harsh on the guy? Sadly, our second date would be our last. The classic buffalo sauce was heavy on the vinegar and low on the tasty. I felt disgusted the rest of the day and resolved never to return.

In the end, I fell prey to Wingstop... twice. I offer you my tale as a warning, Wingstop promises great wings but fails to deliver. Maybe you will have a better experience that I did, but I seriously doubt it.

I have always had a fond place in my heart for Wingstop. I still remember the first time my brother had me taste the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings. I was blown away and thought I would be a fan for life.

Well, I hadn't had Wingstop in almost a year and a half, so I was craving them like crazy this past weekend. I had my husband pick me up a 10-piece, and I tore open that bag as soon as he set it down in front of me.

That was my last moment of happiness because, soon after, I was filled with disgust. The paper trays of wings were filled halfway with greasy oil, and the wings themselves didn't taste fresh at all (even after my husband waited 30 minutes for what should have been freshly fried chicken wings). It was torture trying to finish just ten wings, so I had no problem throwing away three uneaten pieces.

I'm sorry, but it took just this one experience to turn a fan into a boycotter. Never again, Wingstop. Never again.

It had been well over a year since we made our last trip to Wingstop and we thought we would give it one more try. We tried to focus on the glory days where the food was fresh, tasty and most of all, what we ordered.

Husband thought it best to actually go into the restaurant and place the order face to face so there would not be any confusion. Double checked what they put in the computer. Waited for it to be made and then brought it home. Unfortunately he should have made them show him each item before they stapled shut that bag because after he battled the traffic home we opened the bag to find the wrong order.

AIIIGGGGHHHH.

We ordered three types of BONELESS wings and instead got two kinds of nasty, greasy, tiny little bone-in wings. They were disgusting little bones covered in skin and sauce, no meat. I had enough oil resting on that parchment bag to deep fry my own wings. The food was gross. And what was in the bag was much cheaper than what we had paid for

Husband calls restaurant and the manager says we have to drive back, in traffic to get the order. Husband explains we are not getting in the car again and the guy says we could go to another location even farther away.

I grab the phone and very clearly inform them that no, we will not be doing that and demand a refund to our credit card. He is not polite or apologetic. Not once does he apologize. A ll he does is sigh that the refund won't post for a few days because of the christmas holiday.

We check back in a few days. No refund. Call the restaurant again and they again do not apologize and say they will process the refund. Still no refund and it's been over a month.

Just read my 2009 review of how great that place once was. But I have now given them enough chances to get it right in more ways than one so I will not be stopping here again.

We walked in to 4 kids running around until they knocked the FIRE EQUIPMENT off the wall. Screaming, running, smashing, etc. Yikes.

We step in line to order behind an older woman. 2 minutes later I ask if she's in line, while she's reading the menu above. Apparently not?? She mutters no and shuffles to the door. What kind of weird place is this??

We each ordered 2 flavors- garlic parmesan, original hot, cajun, and BBQ. The original hot were okay, garlic parm were okay initially, but TERRIBLE as I got halfway through. The bf wasn't swayed either way on flavor, but had 3 wings with no meat. Literally. There was nothing but bone covered in sauce. Not even fat on it. Super lame.

Did I mention we waited 20 min for this? Like 20 min after placing the order? Excluding the terrorizing children, there were more people in the KITCHEN than patrons in the dining room. Ridiculous.

They have a check-in offer. No idea if it's really worth it- I ended up just deleting mine. No thanks. Never again.

Wings! [STOP]

After a long evening fighting off the barbarians in a pre-Christmas frenzy, I saw a Wingstop next door [STOP] I quickly perused the menu and decided quickly on some Garlic Parmesan and Hickory Smoky BBQ well done[STOP] The clerk took my name and I was skeptical if they would remember how to pronounce it but I had a good time watching the Bulls game on the TV overhead [STOP]

I saw on the wall that they sell beer at $12 or $16 a pitcher which is not too bad I guess considering that it's a wing spot [STOP] Other people were waiting in line and every time the deep fryer went off I was crossing my fingers hoping to catch one of these wings [STOP] While watching other people, I saw an unearthly orange shine on the wings that resembled Cheetos orange bright but I didn't care - I wanted WINGS [STOP]

After taking two buses home in quick fashion, I was rocked by the aromatics of the magical wing sauce [STOP] I pulled the wings out and saw that they were Lilliputian in nature, but were rocked out and well done [STOP] Chowing down on some Hickory Smoky BBQ sauce, there was smokiness, BBQness, and some thick bleu cheese leading to utter flavor overdose [STOP]

After the BBQ was finished it was on to the Garlic Parmesan which was sauceless but caked with a fine layer of Parmesan cheese [STOP] The wing was crispy, extra crispy since I ordered it well done and the wings were nicely played [STOP] Dipped in the bleu cheese, the thick hunks of the bleu was at the bottom of the dipping cup [STOP] It was a moment of satisfaction, knowing that once and for all Wingstop was Get Yo Wing On-worthy [STOP]

Now stop playin' y'all and Get Yo Wing On at WINGSTOP [STOP]

It's been a great while since I last came here, and I'm extremely overdue in writing this. Anyway the rare times I'm in the mood for wings, I really enjoyed Wingstop the several times I've been here, and not to forget one visit to the Elmwood Park location. Not as much sauce variety as BW3, but the wings are bigger and meatier, and the (fewer) sauces they do have are just as decent as many of BW3's sauces. Their prices are slightly pricier than I think they should charge, but at least their wings are great quality, and makes me mostly forget about the price issue. The fries are excellent, too. Usually their 2 TVs are tuned to sports, and I can imagine this location gets very frequented by the Lane/Gordon crowd. Though luckily, I've always managed to pick times to come when they aren't around.

I really do wish Wingstop had more Chicago locations, since it'd be nice to have a great wing place closer to my house. BW3 and Buffalo Joe's are just enough far away in Evanston and/or Rogers Park, that they aren't an option for me to go to. (this includes Buffalo Joe's Howard St. location) Le sigh, though it's a small start they do have a Wicker Park location on Milwaukee Ave....

Shake and Bake originally clued me in to the franchise. We were having a discussion about hot wings and he suggested I check out the Atomics at Wing Stop. I'm not one to back away from a spicy chicken wing so I took his advice. I haven't looked back since.

The Atomics are decent. They're tasty and very spicy. They're not the type of spicy where you'd demand a glass of water, though. I found myself devouring the entire order w/o any trouble. Are they hot? Yes. Are they Hell In My Mouth Satan Screaming Down My Throat hot? Nah.

I've since made Wing Stop my wing supplier of choice and when I go to hang out w/ my buddy to watch football, I usually bring over some wings to complete the American picture - football and hot wings. America #1!

My default choices are the Atomic, Hot and the Cajun. If you're going to follow this order, I strongly recommend evenly pacing the Atomic to avoid having your mouth go numb therefore having all the other flavors taste like the Atomic. Even though I may have given you the impression that the Atomic is no big deal, The Spicy Index takes a huge jump from the Hot to the Atomic. It does not, as they say in the engineering department, scale linearly. So be warned, ye newcomers to the Atomic funhouse.

The Hot and Cajun are crowd favorites and very flavorful. The Hot does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a traditional hot sauce based hot wing. It's tangy w/ a bit of a bite. It's the safest bet going, I think. You can't lose w/ this wing. It's straight, down the middle decent. The Cajun is a bit more flavorful and, in my humble opinion, the better spicy wing. I'd rate this in between the three flavors listed in this review and my dark horse winner. Saucy w/ a little more kick than the Hot. It's like a glorious remix of the classic house party track. It's a hand raiser. Go check it out.

ps: Their fries aren't half bad, either. Order the family pack which comes bundled w/ wings, fries, carrots and celery (with dip) and enjoy some football. For America.

Yes, it's true... it does take them time to get the food ready. But the way I see it, perfection takes time. So if you're in a hurry, be sure to call ahead. Otherwise, their dining area is comfy and with the 4-5 flat-screen TVs, you're sure to pass the time pretty quickly.

I stopped in a couple of times to pick up my order to eat at home and I always thought it was worth going back.

Last night, I dined in for the first time so that my family and I can enjoy the Bears game without the crowded vibe of Buffalo Wild Wings. We got there at approx 8 p.m. and the dining area had plenty of seats open. Towards the end of the game, at about 11 pm, more people started pouring in. I'm sure it gets busier when Devry and Lane Tech students aren't on vacation, but it's definitely much comfier than BWW.

They've got less flavors than BWW, but their flavors are quality and very delicious! We had just about every flavor last night. My 2 year old and my 17 year old loved the Garlic Pepper wings. I loved it too. It's great in the first couple of bites and reminds me a lot of chicarones (pork rinds) and then at about the 4th bite it gets a little too greasy for me. However, at that point, I switch to another flavor and then end up right back w/ the Garlic Pepper again. With the other flavors, I don't taste a bit of grease at all.

My husband is always down for the Atomic wings. I can handle the hottest wings from BWW, but I can't handle the Atomic wings here..... now these are hottt!

Their chicken tenders are good too. They're not small nor covered w/ loads of batter like some of those other places. These are actually well proportioned and tasty.

Their fries are also delicious. The potato itself has a hint of sweetness and the seasoning is just right. I have to have their fries every time I order from here.

They've got fountain drinks w/ free refills and if you're looking to relax on a game night... they've got beer too!

The ladies room is very clean and not a speck of dirt in sight. In addition, the staff is very friendly over the phone and in person.

Note: I'm not fluffing this review at all... I'm just a satisfied customer! I'll be back.

Let me just say. ORDER AHEAD OF TIME. it took half an hour to make 20 wings.that being said. the wings are small. and some taste like any other wings...

BUT!

the garlic parmesan blew me away. it was SUPER crispy (we ate at the restaurant). DROWNED in a garlicy oil. and sprinkled with real parmesan. i LOVE garlic so this may have affected my decision. but they may have been the best garlic parmesan wings i've had around here...

"Holy wings, batman!" ...that's what I was hoping to say to myself after scarfing down some of these bad boys...but both times they've fallen a little flat. Now don't get me wrong--the actual taste is not BAD, the wings certainly suffice, but there are a few major flaws:

(Information disclosure: I've only had the boneless wings, so you bone-in lovers, take my review with a grain of salt.)

1) The pieces are SMALL. I went there two days ago because my man had a hankering for some wings. She gave me my moderate order of 10 boneless and I swear, I felt the weight of the box a few times thinking perhaps they missed some of my order. Open that lil box and see sure enough, there were 10 in there--but 10 very very puny pieces.

2) If you let the wings get cold, you can actually taste that "freezer'/frozen" taste to them. You know, that fakey-artificial aftertaste.

3) Lack a large variety of sauces (e.g. like B-dubs)

OK, so that's enough bitching. The good is that they're definitely moderately-cheaply priced as far as wings go. (Well heck they should be seeing as they're small!) And the actual lovely hot sauce buttery goodness they're covered in is plentiful. **AND the fries are GOOD** (But hey, that's not what you're going there for.)

Would I go there in a pinch? Yes. Can I make better wings at home for cheaper? ....yes. 3 stars: A-OK.

Ding Ding Chicken Wing.

Yep. That is what I sing to myself every time I think of good ol' fashion wings. Ummm--can someone say YUMMY!?!

There is nothing wrong with getting a hot mess of blue cheese dressing & hot wing sauce on your face while you are chewing such meaty goodness off those little bones. [I said bone]

Anyway. The service is good. The food is better. Do not try the atomic wings unless you want to have all your holes in your body burn for up to 24 hours. They taste so good--but consumer beware!

You know in Yelp reviews how people are always saying "I really wanted to love this place blah blah blah", well, it's time to turn that overused, ubiquitous phrase on it's ass.

I, for one, really wanted to hate Wingstop. So there!!

It has all of the components required to be really extraordinarily crappy. Located in a dilapidated strip mall off of Western, Wingstop is jammed in between a Dots discount clothier and a tanning salon... you know the one, just catty corner from Jumbo Buffet (my, isn't that name appealing)? Yep, sitting like a lovely little wing haven on the decrepit surrounding horizon, Wingstop, despite everything working against it's favor does not suck. Not in the slightest.

Takeout wings - 2 kinds; Original Hot and Hickory BBQ - on a balmy Sunday night were not only entirely better than expected but even, dare I say it, swoonworthy??!! Maybe 'twas the heat of both the weather and those fingerlickin' wings getting to me, perhaps I just love waaangs like a fat kid loves cake... either way, they were tasty morsels of spicy, tangy delight! The original hot were just how I love 'em, nice and buttery with a spicy and fabulously vinegary smack on the back end. Who doesn't love a fiery smack on the behind, I know I do!

The BBQ wings were also yumz, super sweet and sticky, smothered in hickory love sauce, but sorry kids, the spicy takes my blue ribbon. A side order of potato salad was totally unnecessary - what can I say, I had eyes bigger than stomach syndrome - and sorta bland to boot. Seeing as it's called Wingstop and not Potatosaladstop, I get that it's not their forté and will forgo said order next time around.

Wings only. Wings ahoy. Wings or bust. I can see the bumper sticker now, ridin' high on the round backside of my sexy hooptie, "this 'lil chickie only stops for Wingstop".... yeah, Atomicwangville here I come!

So.... yeah.... um..... nope. Wing STOP don't go. This is like a poor man's Buffalo Wild Wings (but it costs more, wtf mate?)

The service was nice and friendly, but I pay for food not a smile. My fiance and I went in for a quick snack. We got 5 "atomic" and 5 "garlic parmesan". The atomic were in a chunky sauce that was a little peppery and some residual heat once it was eaten. But it was NOTHING to be called atomic. The flavor was not as flavorful or spicy as Buffalo Joe's Suicide wings.

The garlic parmesan was better. It was more like a parmesan crusted wing, but not as good as other places.

Plus as a kicker the wings are pretty damn small and at a price of 7.99 as a combo they are not exactly the cheapest wings in town.

All things considered, I would rather go anywhere else wings.

I feel like I'm the only person who was not impressed.... perhaps I can entire everyone who enjoyed these wings to go to wing fest next year and experience good wings.

This place is worth checking out. They weren't the best wings I've had, but they were far above average, and at the right price (10 wings plus a mountain of fries and a drink for $8).

I tried the buffalo hot and the atomic. The atomic was more spicy than flavorful and didn't really stack up to other ridiculously hot sauces. Everything else was great (including the fresh cut fries). They had several flat screens with sports and news on, and it reminds me of a dry version of Buffalo Wild Wings.

The service was EXCELLENT!

Decent place to stop in for a couple of wings, but not necessarily where you'd want to hang for a long time.

Don't discount strip mall eateries.

I've had some pretty boring/small/nothing to write home about wings in my day. I've even made my own and thought they were better than some I've had in bars.

Last night, we were lazy and couldn't figure out what to cook. Remembering we wanted to try Wingstop ("just this once!"), we ordered online for take out.

First, $16 for dinner ain't bad. Enjoy your own beer at home and you've got a nice cheap meal in.

Second, if you're looking to try different wing sauces, they have a nice selection. We went with Hawaiin (sweet and tangy) and Cajun (like regular hot wings, but with an extra kick) and were pleased. They are small-ish wings, so splitting 20 between two people was perfect. The fries were good, though very salty.

If you want wings, but don't want to eat them at a bar, this place is worth checking out.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! There's FINALLY a Wingstop close to where I live.

I've been a Wingstop fan for almost a decade (Read my review of the Galewood location: http://www.yelp.com/biz/…).

This Wingstop location may be the best one yet. It's got more seating than average, plenty of parking, and the staff was really friendly (they always are). I'm torn between telling everyone all about it, and keeping it to myself so the place doesn't get too crowded.

Chicken heaven! It's cheap, and there's a GREAT variety. I myself tried the Hawaiian (mild n' sweet), the Cajun (unclogged my sinuses!), and the parmeson garlic (super tasty). I am not bold enough to go for the "atomic" , but I'd imagine they are quite good.

The fries are pretty outstanding, just so you know. Very fresh and with the perfect amount of seasoning.

We dined in, and were pleased to see on a Friday night that there was plenty of seating. It's very clean, and the staff is super nice, too. Definitely worth more visits! Who knows...maybe one day I'll work myself up to "atomic" if my respiratory system needs an uncloggin'.

I'm not a huge wing fan until I had the wings from Wingstop! My friend picked up wings for the super bowl and he had a slight problem. They asked him to pick up at 3:30 and he had to wait a half hour to get the wings! He said it was packed to the gills and was annoyed by that. It was super bowl Sunday after all.

We had 3 kinds of wings, regular hot, sweet bbq and parmesan garlic. It was very hard to pick a favorite but I loved the plain hot wings. We had blue cheese and ranch dressing. Both were very creamy and had lots of flavor. The blue cheese dressing had huge chunks of cheese in the dressing.

I would love to sample their boneless wings next. This place has awesome wings, you must give it a try!

I have never heard of this place until today. Me and a buddy was deciding where to get carry out from, it was either Mexican food or wings. So I chose wings. We had 50 wings to go, I forgot how much it was but it was like $39 I think, somewhere along those lines. We were able to mix and match the flavor of the sauce. And there were 2 sides we could choose, we chose the fries.

So we went back to my buddies house and ate with his family. Im usually not a fan of wings with sauce on them, but these were very good and I liked it alot. Just the right amount of sauce and decent sized wings. And the flavor was very good. We had the mild, bbq, terriyaqi and something else I forgot. My favorite was the bbq, had a nice little kick of spicyness to it but not too spicy. The fries were very good as well, they added a touch of sugar to it, which is a first for me, but I liked it. I will definitely be back again for some more wings.

I'm a huge fan of buffalo/hot wings so it was a nice surprise to see this place finally open up. And there is plenty of parking compared to the Wicker Park location. Bonus. And the dine-in area is sizable, but I wonder if it all the Lane kids will fill it during school hours, making lunch there a gamble.

The wings seem to be bigger than Buffalo Wild Wings, but the sauce they put on them are only OK. I do have to give them credit for their atomic sauce. I love hot wings. The hotter the better, but the atomic wings are almost unbearably hot! If you cannot handle a little heat, you should stay FAR away from the atomic wings. They are the hottest wings I've ever had. Hotter than the Blazin' Wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. They had me constantly blowing my nose and crying like a little girly man. My manhood has been damaged by those wings. Argh.

When I'm in the area, I'll come back to get my sauce-covered wing fix here but I'll still prefer to get my wings just across the parking lot at the chinese restaurant.

I love wings and was very excited about this place. I got the Atomic and the lemon pepper(just to mix it up). The lemon pepper were flavorful but dry. The Atomic were indeed hot but just not good. They did not have that orangy-vinegar]hot sauce I dig. This sauce was a thick bbq-like sauce.
All in all, I probably will not give this place another try.

I was at the nearby Toys-R-Us to buy some Christmas gifts and stopped in at this Wingstop. Although I had never heard of it, Wingstop is a chain of 600 restaurants.

They serve only wings and chicken strips. The sauces for the wings are: Original Hot, Cajun, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, Teriyaki and something called "Atomic" which I assume is the hottest.

I had the Original Hot and Hickory Smoked. Perfectly passable chicken wings. My only complaint is that I've had meatier chicken wings in my life; these seemed a little scrawny.

Sides include french fries, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and vegetable sticks. The potato salad reminded me of my moms.

Price is $5.99 for 10 wings while a combo with drink and side is $7.99.
