I met a couple of friends here on a Thursday and I have to say that I was impressed. The atmosphere was nice and low key, the decor inviting, and the food was decent. Above all else the music (jazz) was top notch.

We had the Garden Calamari to start and I believe that it was the best dish of the night. For our main course we split an Italian style pork chop and the Tilapia. Unfortunately the pork chop was overcooked but I really enjoyed the fish.

Our server was a bit 'matter of fact' (to put it nicely)...everyone has their own style but perhaps she would be better door girl. :)

All in all a good experience and I highly recommend. Judging from the music I heard and  the posters on the door I assume this spot has had some amazing music rolling through it. Check it out!

This is a great place in a big city that should have more small, intimate bistros with adventurous music like this.  Katarina is friendly and warm. She makes the place her living room.  The crowd is attentive to the music.  One night we went there and the room was filled with jazz musicians there for a couple birthdays.  That tells you something.  The music and the atmosphere make you feel like you're in Paris or a small part of New York I've imagined but never found.  The food is more than fine but you should not expect it to define your experience.  Just enjoy the whole package as something that Chicago has far too little of to experience.

This is the kind of place that makes Chicago a great city.  Cool decor, great music and warm, Greek hospitality--the owner comes around to say "hi" to all.  

I went with a group of friends and had a lot of fun.  Music was provided by an acoustic group playing classic rock tunes (Cousins) and they did a very nice job of getting the crowd into it.  Their version of Hendrix's "Little Wing" was also quite impressive!

We also shared some great appetizers.  The grilled calamari was flavorful and perfectly done, while the spanakopita was fresh and delicious.

Overall, a very nice spot for a date or group outing.  You can't go wrong!
