Came by with a party of 16 for a birthday dinner. Service was prompt and courteous throughout the meal by our server, Donald.

Started off with the refillable garlic bread. It was okay...it seemed mass produced.

Ordered the Tri Tip with Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes as per Yelp's recommendation. The tri tip was tasty, and was probably the highlight of the meal. My only complaint is that it could use a little more BBQ sauce, or some extra sauce on the side. For a similar price, the tri tip was considerably smaller in portions compared to the baby back ribs around me. The mac & cheese tasted like something I could make at home with Kraft's. The mashed potatoes was a letdown. It was dry, and it didn't have any gravy??

The Bayhawk Hefeweizen tasted watered down...aye aye aye.

Ive been to Kansas and all over Texas for good BBQ and ...

    mmmm
the best i can do is give this place a 3star. We came in a big group and ordered about 4 different plates. The fatty that I am went around sampling each. They were all average and my ribs were actually burnt. However the buffalo meat was DELISH . The meat really tender.

I probably will never go back to this particular rest, but IF anyone else decides to check it out, get the BUFFALO meat. can't go wrong with that one...

    The location is great, service is decent but the food makes this review a 3 star.;

Wonderful experience. I came here with a friend before seeing Despicable Me 2 @ Edwards. We wanted something small, quick, and cheap. We were seated quickly and there was no wait time. Service was attentive. Soon as my Berry Cosmo (totally delish by the way - tad strong but the berry flavor toned it down) went out she came back and asked if I wanted a refill or another drink.

As always, complimentary bread. Oh the carbs. The garlic butter on the bread was pretty good but also average. You can get it anywhere. Anywho we came across the appetizer menu and found the SLIDERS. Perfect. We ordered the BBQ pulled pork and the brisket, and also the Half & Half - which is half fries half onion strings. What surprised me was the bill. A glass of red wine, a Cosmopolitan, three appetizers. $58. Wow... average food. average service. Phenomenal bill? Might not return.

Tried two of the three most suggested items. The macaroni and cheese was too greasy.  Ordered medium for tri-tip but it was definitely over-cooked.  Even the waitress admitted it but said it was hard for them to control.

Went there on a Friday night.  Boy was that a mistake.  Waited forever for just marginal food.  By the time we got dinner, it was cold.  Asked the waiter for another
plate and we get the look and attitude.  I was so starving we just waited  and got outta
    there.  Find another place.

Was not impressed with the food at this place. Tri tip was way too hard, even though I ordered medium. It almost flew off my plate when I was struggling to cut it with my knife and fork. Perhaps a chainsaw would have worked better.

Mashed potatoes had no gravy. Coleslaw wasn't creamy enough and had peanuts in it... yuck. The shredded onions were nothing special. The complimentary garlic bread, while coated with plenty of garlic sauce on the outside, was bone dry on the inside.

Delicious tri tip steak.  The mashed yams and Mac and cheese are awesome!  Don't forget to order their garden salad.  Delicious.

I am ABSOLUTELY in love with this place! It was my first time so our waiter explained all the different options of food they had. Since there were 3 of us, we decided to get the 4-item entree combo with tri-tip, 2 racks of baby back ribs, and a chicken. It came with one side, and we chose mashed potatoes, but we decided to order an extra order of cole slaw too.

The tri-tip might be the BEST tri-tip I've ever had. It was super tender, full of flavor, and just absolutely delicious! Yummmm! The baby back ribs were pretty good too, but a bit too BBQy for me. I don't like heavy sauce on my ribs. The chicken was pretty good as well, but the tri-tip was definitely my favorite. The mashed potatoes were soooo creamy and good, and the cole slaw was just as amazing. And the garlic rolls... OMG probably the best I've ever had. I could go there JUST for the rolls. They're THAT good!

Our waiter came by to check up on us at least a few times and was always available when we needed something. Amazing food, amazing service! WIN WIN!

Menu is not to my liking, but that's the only real issue to this place. There aren't many selections for entrees and appetizers. It seems like a lot of the items are recycled (i.e. cooked the same way with different meat types).

Aside from that, there is prompt and good service, nice ambiance, clean tables, and sports in the bar area.

Definitely recommend coming during happy hour if you're not into big plates. I saw a 15 ounce rib eye on the menu for around $30 but who can finish that on their own!?

If it wasn't for Diego who really made our night, I'd give this rating a three star.

We really wanted iced tea, but he said there wasn't any automatically sweetened ones, so we canceled it.  He said you could sweeten it, so we ordered it.  Then he came back and said there was no more. we all laughed.  He then offered a pomegranate green tea? and I'm gonna say he was a really cool down to earth waiter.

I went here with two friends of mine, celebrating a graduation.

I ordered the half and half for appetizer.  Half shredded onion, half fries. I'm going to say this was probably the best part of the night.   It was pretty greasy, but not gonna lie, I think it was probably the best fried bits of sliced onion I've ever had!

I ordered a large hefeweizen, $8.95, they gave me a large liter, the ones dave and buster used to have, in the good ol days of the spectrum.

I also ordered the rib eye sandwich, and my friend ordered a really complex but cool salad. I forgot the name.  She was vegetarian and she said it was probably one of the best salads she ever had. I think it might've had quinoa? flax in it? I'm really not sure...

Anyways, continuing on my entree, you're allowed to have one side with it.  Now this is quite weird, but both my buddy and I got the rib eye sandwich with a side of mac and cheese.  Prepare yourself, the mac and cheese was too creamy. I know. Weird right? but I really think it was too dense for what you normally would consider mac and cheese.

As for the rib eye sandwich, in which my buddy and I both got, I think they overdid it on the sauce.

When we both got home, myself and my two friends had the driest throats in the world.  Now it could be the fried stuff, but I'm going to attribute it more to the rib eye.. though it seems like everyone raves about it, I'm gonna say that it's definitely over sauced, and when it's oversauced it covers up the flavor the meat can provide and way extra sodium, hence our dry throats in the morning.

I'd come back here, just for Diego and the fried onions, he was awesome.

One other thing that impressed me.  When the waiters came to clean up our table.  They had a small circular tray, in which they put 10+ glasses on, and walked back.  These guys have super freaking strong shoulders and forearms man..

I give 2 stars for the service and 1 star for the food.  The chicken breasts that I grill on my bbq are much better and I hate bbq'ing lol.  The peanut slaw was bland.  It was cut up slaw veggies in oil and peanuts.  That's it.  The mac n cheese was also runny and tasted bland as well.
The bbq sauce was watered down and tasted like tobasco sauce.  Seriously do not eat here.  There are so many options at the Rectum.  Don't get fooled by the smell walking towards the place.

I love this place for its steak!!
Get the Rib-eye steak and you are good to go!!

Fantastic service, the establishment is very clean and organized.

The steak quality is ALWAYS consistent.

The menu price is quite expensive, but it's worth every penny!

I'm definitely coming back for more!

This place has a fun atmosphere.  There's a lot of room at the bar and it had a popping happy hour.  We were there on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 priced wine.

We ate off the Happy Hour and regular menu.  The food available on the happy hour menu is limited, but works.  I had the brisket sliders.  They were good.  The chicken wings were average.

My wife had the beef ribs, which were the hi-lite of the meal.  Nice fat ribs with plenty of meat.  We were kinda bummed when we asked them to save us the bones for our dog and they forgot to pack them.  We didn't notice until we got home.

I was disappointed in the dry rub baby back ribs.  Not much flavor.

The mall had a great selection of restaurants.  We're probably gonna try something different next time we stop by.

Only 20 minute wait on a Friday night
    Killer garlic bread
    forgettable chips and salsa
Balsamic shrimp with rice was perfectly cooked and the right amount
Love the peanuts in cole slaw, seemed healthy

Wood Ranch is one of my favorites.  I seem to eat here once a week. (usually before seeing a movie)  The Mac& Cheese is awesome!  That's always my side and if I get two sides with my meal then hit me up double!  Their BBQ salad is very good (not a big salad eater but I like this one),  BBQ Chicken is good and so are the chicken sandwiches.  Long waits on weekends but if you get there around 6 you're usually good.

The food was just alright. The tri-tip is not as amazing as some may make you think. It was pretty dry in the middle, slightly overcooked. The sweet potatoes were actually decent BUT they put butter in it which makes it salty and greasy! Sweet potatoes do not need butter! The mac N cheese was the highlight for me, a lot of cheese and lots of flavor.

Happy hour is from 3-6 but there is not much food for happy hour, maybe like 6 dishes.

Came in on a Thursday evening after work.  One person in our party was a few minutes late.  Hostess ended up giving our table to another group and we ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes...  Not a good way to start out the evening.

I ordered the aged ribeye.  Wow!  On my top list of best steaks I've ever had!  It was so tender that I almost didn't have the need for the steak knife.  Basically melted in my mouth.  Great marbling and beautifully cooked.  The ribeye was season with basic salt and pepper and served with a side.  Nothing else, but honestly, with a steak this good, nothing else was needed.  Portion size was 15 oz, but this was one of those steaks that I wished never ended.  Too bad there wasn't a 22 oz version.  I was trying to keep on a conversation at the table and remain polite, but honestly, it was a bit difficult as I was having a moment with the steak.

Other people at the table order the tri tip and stated it was delicious as well.  Can't say much about it since I didn't personally taste it.  Only reason I didn't give this Wood Ranch 5 stars was because of the service.  Giving our table away when the last person in our party was 5 minutes away and we didn't want to be seated first and appear rude.  Entrees also took forever to come out.  No complaints at all about the food though.  FYI, Wood Ranch would not take reservations for our group of 5.  They stated they would only do 7 or more.

My wife ordered the Cuban sandwich and I ordered the steak salad, after the bartender up sold me on a few add ons but didn't explain the charge I was more than disappoints with the quality and the price.  She turned a $12 salad into a $20 dollar salad by adding onion strings and avocados. Normally I wouldn't think twice but she did not let me know it would run about 8 more dollars. The salad was not delicious and the sandwich was dry.  I was more than a little disappointed because I had heard many good things about wood ranch but our experience was less than satisfying.  We won't be coming back.

We really enjoyed the food. Rolls are amazing, pulled pork was perfectly done and what I really appreciated was the atmosphere and vibe when you first walk in. All was great until you noticed the unprofessional staff lounging around and having personal conversations in groups. As I found myself giving excuses for these waiters and waitresses (example: they must be closing out and leaving for the night) I realized if I were someone who didn't work in the restaurant industry and didn't have tolerance for this poor behavior, I would have been pretty irritated at this point. Unfortunately our bartender had to take a break and without informing us he handed our tab off to another bartender. I was so appalled by the language of bartender #2. She was talking to what seemed to be a "regular customer" about the most inappropriate sexual subjects. After ignoring the fact that my drink was empty for 10 minutes, we decided to skip drink # 2 and dessert just so we could get out of there as quickly as possible.

Good thing you have good cooks in the kitchen.

This was a birthday dinner for my daughter who chose this place because she loves BBQ and has tried the place at the Grove in LA.  We were there on a Monday night so it wasn't crowded.  We were sat by the hostess which was very nice.  After a few minutes we were greeted by our waitress.  Friendly enough.  She brought us the garlic rolls everyone raves about.  My opinion they are very oily/greasy and loaded with garlic.  I'm a huge bread fan and thought there was too much garlic spread on it and you lost the taste of the bread.

Next we ordered.  My wife and daughter each ordered the combination plate.  Wife were ribs and brisket, my daughter was chicken and brisket.  And I had the shrimp creole.  I'm not a big BBQ fan.

I don't know why some wait staff do this, but it always puts me on edge.  They take your order and don't write it down.  They go off of memory.  Too many times I've found that something in someones order gets messed up this way.

So our food comes...my daughter's food is fine, chicken and brisket.  My order is fine, Shrimp Creole.  My wife's order is chicken and brisket.  What she ordered were the ribs and brisket.  So when we called one of the runners and explained the order was only 1/2 right, she apologized and said she'd get the ribs out right away.  Perfect response to a mistake!  Then our waitress comes up and says, "I hear there was a mistake in your order?"  Then she said they were working on getting her ribs out.  Then all of a sudden, she puts a plate in front of my wife and says, "Can you put the chicken on the plate?"  So my wife does and the waitress takes the plate and leaves.

A few minutes goes by and she drops off a plate of ribs and doesn't say anything and walks away.  It even gets better.  When we finish and waitress drops off our check, there is an extra charge for ribs in addition to the cost of the combo plate.  I bring this to the attention of the waitress and she says, "Oh yeah, they had to punch it in and add the ribs.  I didn't check to see if they took the cost off the check."

So here's why I gave them 2 stars and not 1.  Everyone but our waitress was apologetic about everything, which was great.  Our waitress ruined the whole experience.  First she never apologized for getting the order wrong.  Which in looking at the check, it looks like she punched in our order wrong.  Second, she asked my wife to put the chicken on the plate so she can take it back.  In my opinion she should have asked my wife if she'd like to keep it since it was her mistake and what are they going to do with the chicken anyways?  Give it to another customer?  Third mistake was delivering the check without checking to see if it was okay.  And fourth, after getting called out on the mistake she blamed it on her manager.

I thought the food was decent, but service ruined a my daughter's birthday dinner and I'll never go back to this location again.  Even though everyone else was great, this waitress didn't lift a finger to enhance our dinning experience when things she did went wrong.  She either doesn't care or lacks training.  Either way I'm not willing to spend my money at a place that tolerates this kind of service when there are so many other choices at the Spectrum.

I was brought here for lunch as the salads and bbq were highly recommended. Nice place at the Irvine Spectrum....nice decor....nice bar.....good seating choices indoor, at the bar, or a covered outdoor patio.

The hostess greeted us upon entry....very friendly, and had us seated immediately despite the place looking rather crowded (at lunch time). Ok, we had a good server who was friendly, helpful, and attentive. No problems with the service at all.

In deciding what to order, I was told that the salads were very good here, but I wanted to try something bbq'd. I was set till I saw the lunch combo specials and though....hey, I can try 3 items! I proceeded to order a garden salad, turkey sandwich, with sweet potato fries. Ok, to keep it brief on the turkey, lets just say I will likely never order it again....not the best turkey patty I've had. The sweet potato fries were ok, but I think the best part of the combo was the garden salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing.

There's along list of sides to choose from and I'm told that many of them are really yummy! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the hot garlic bread that's brought to us while we are deciding on what to order! They are definitely as delicious as they look in the picture!

Anyway, I'd still definitely come back here as I'd like to give the signature items a chance....I don't think turkey is their specialty so I shouldn't write a bad review just because of that one item. Next time I'm going to order the bbq items to see if it's really as good as everyone says it is.

I came here for a friend's birthday party and it was an interesting experience. First lets just say parking is a pain and takes at least 10-15 minutes to find parking at dinner time.

I arrived and provided the host my party's name and said some people were already here (group of 16). She insisted I was early and no one had arrived and that I would have to wait. I asked to speak with someone else since this hostess was not competent to show me where my group was seated, she informed me that I had to speak to the party planner girl who was on the phone. As I was waiting, the host of the birthday party walked by and invited me in to the group celebration. I have to admit it was really irritating and I wish I could have rubbed the "customers always right" in this chicks face.

I have to say the hostess and servers were pretty bad. Once seated they could not seem to be able to bring us bread or waters (appetizers came before my table's six  waters did). Things were very unorganized and if it wasn't for the food they wouldn't get my business. After this experience, I would not recommend planning a party with this restaurant or going back. I would have to go to another one of Orange County's Wood Ranches to erase my experience of this one.

Get it together Wood Ranch, your service needs a crash course on what not to do to paying customers. Don't forget, you're in the hospitality business! Your team needs to learn what that means and how it's supposed to be because it wasn't executed that night.

The food at this restaurant is actually pretty good.  Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the restaurants policies.  I can't believe that they will not take reservations.  As a result, they have lost my business.  I am choosing to go to restaurants that are willing to try and accommodate their diners when their diners have busy schedules.

Usually order tri tip chopped salad which is yummy but opted for healthier salmon roasted veggie salad. Eggplant was very salty, salmon was bland, cheese was very pungent and over powering

Our server was nice but didn't want to take group picture for us and when we asked for additional plates he wanted us to use one of the kids plates that was not used yet. Lazy.

My salad alone was $18. Way over priced for quality and quantity.

    Kid-friendly: A
They have sling for babies, high chair for little ones and boosters for toddlers. They also served Cheerios, bananas and oranges immediately after sitting down.

one of the busboys spilled coke and slattered all over my husbands jacket and our friend's motorcycle helmet. Sticky and yucky. No apologies made.

Spectrum, starving, spectrum, starving.  It's inevitable that one will end up in a place like this under such circumstances.

Noisy.  Seated near the kitchen and restrooms.  Before it became annoying: complimentary garlic rolls.  Piping hot bundles of heaven.

I sampled my husband's bison burger and it was very good.  My "western tri-tip" sandwhich had the makings of awesome - grilled peppers, onion, cheese - but it was a little too salty for my liking.

    Service was very good.

There are several Wood Ranch Restaurants in Southern California. We have been to four and found the same high quality service in each one.

In this Irvine location, you will probably have problems finding a parking spot, but you won't have problems with the food. The Shredded Onions and killer wings are probably the most popular appetizer. The dinner rolls are delicious. Salads are fresh and creative. Prime top sirloin, Beef ribs, Pork ribs, Burgers, Tri-tip, & Chicken.......... all are great. The sides, of which you usually get your choice of two, are just as good as the meats. Fresh Corn from the Cob, a yummy Peanut Cole Slaw, Skillet Baked Beans, Baked Potato, or Fries are just a few of the offerings.

Meal portions are generous. Some of the combinations are large enough for two.

My husband and I came here to have lunch after our little visit with Apple Store.  We were seated outside since we have our daughter with us.  We actually had tried a few items from a party's, catered through them.  The food was pretty good so we decided to come here to visit.

My husband ordered through a test kitchen menu and his dish was St Louis full rack of baby back ribs.  My order was the All American full rack baby back ribs.  When my order came, the waiter explained that my full rack only had 11 ribs and he would bring me an extra 1 rib on the side.  I was like wow, they really paid attention to how many ribs being served.  I seriously wouldn't have bothered counting the ribs so I was impressed.  It also made my order extra yummy since it made me feel like I got extra!  My side was a bean and it was a bit sweet but not overly sweet.

My husband's St Louis ribs was falling off the bone and it was probably a bit too overdone for our taste.  The peach habenero sauce that came with the dish was pretty good.  It has quite a bit of a kick to it.  My husband got 2 sides: white corn and mashed sweet potato.  They were also pretty decent.

We also had the shredded onion for appetizer which was also pretty good.  Overall, our experience was quite pleasant.  Our daughter has been a bit chatty and not to mention loud so it was nice that we were sitting outside.  More family came with little kids so we don't feel like our daughter was the only one making too much noises.  We would definitely go back if we want some American barbecue.

    Half Off Wine Tuesdays!

Well I've been here before for food and yum, great rib eye and prime rib, though I'd pass on the tri tip. I didn't know about their Tuesday wine deal though! A friend turned me on to this place and I can't imagine going anywhere else...for wine on Tuesday anyway :P. They have a lovely outdoor patio with heat lamps where you can hang out with friends, chat, sip some wine, you can even order food if that's what you're looking for. The waiters and bartenders have always been super friendly so I can see myself coming back again and again. See ya there!

The servers are very sweet and helpful. Including their garlic bread is AMAZING!!! it's fresh, hot and delicious. If you can try to get a 3 or 4 helping to go.

If you love side dishes and you love mac and cheese. Their Mac and Cheese is Awesome!

I recommend going on Tuesdays, which their wines and some of their foods are discounted.

I'd been going to the Woodranch in Anaheim Hills (which is always packed when we go) so this was a nice change of pace since we've come for lunch twice and we didn't have to wait for a table (yay!)

As mentioned above, we didn't have to wait for a table so we were seated right away. Both times, we had very attentive waiters, which I lo-lo-looooove! We had great service with waiters offering the sky and the moon to make it a good dining experience for us.
Hesitation with a plate..."If you don't like it,  I'll bring you something else!" I like the sound of that!

All the food at Wood Ranch is always fantastic. Nothing is just "meh" to me.  However, the brisket and the BBQ Half Chicken are my faves! The fiery green beans are a must to try! but....

Can we please talk about the SMASHED SWEET POTATO?! Oh my gah! I died and went to side-heaven!  I did not think I'd like it but it's a much better option than mashed potato, but wow! My bf really liked it too, which is always a plus!

The portion sizes are great.  Prices are a bit high, but it's great food. Not giving a 5 star rating because we have not experienced dinner and that's when you can really see service because of the influx of people.

Will we be back? Most definitely!

Price: Not the cheapest.  I spent about 30-35$ for two people during Happy Hour.

Quality: The food had a lot of BBQ Flavor for the dishes I ordered (Sliders).  Everything was great though!

Service/Ambiance: Waiters and waitresses were fairly attentive.  There also are television screens if you are one that needs to watch TV during dinner.

Came here with family few weeks ago. The steak was amazing! Perfectly cooked (medium rare). The salmon was just as good (got it blackened). I had heard a lot of hype about their mac and cheese, it was okay. Panera still has the best mac and cheese, I say. The place was very spacious and very clean, good service.
    No complaints so far!

Time: 5:30 PM on a Saturday night, 2013 Valentine's Day Weekend

Reservations: None. They only take reservations for groups of 7 or more.

First off, the hostess needs to give a better wait time frame. I rather be told my wait would be at least 5-10 minutes more than what she told us would be 5 minutes.

Our table side service was ok. It was a bit confusing who our server was because we'd give our orders to one server, but that wasn't the server who was taking care of us.

As for the food, if you're some BBQ connoisseur then I can understand how you'd be really critical about your BBQ, but I'm not. As a "I know what I like" and good food connoisseur, I'd say the food here is pretty good.

Tri-tip and Mushroom Soup - It was hearty, but not super thick. I'm sensitive to salty foods, and I must say, it was right on that line of almost being too salty. Overall, really good.

Garlic Rolls - This was addicting for me. Something so simple as dinner rolls with a bit of butter on top and sprinkled with garlic and chives. Delicious! I had to ask for a basket to go. hehe.

Ribeye Steak - Nicely seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. You definitely don't need any steak sauce. But with that said,  I'm a person that likes to dip my food in sauces, so it would have nice to have some au jus.

Loaded Bake Potato/Baked Potato - The only thing notable about this was they lighted salted the outer skin which I thought was nice touch. I never eat the skins of a baked potato, but this small touch had me finish the entire thing.

Grilled Corn - It's an actual corn on the cob that is grilled, not corn kernels in a small bowl. So for me, that was a plus.

Beef Ribs - It is smothered with BBQ sauce which can be a good or bad thing. It just depends on your preference. The meat was good and tender. I wasn't struggling on taking the meat off the bone. The sauce had a sweet and tangy flavor to it. It was enjoyable.

Tri-Tip - I prefer my tri-tip to not be smothered with BBQ sauce, but that's a preference issue. The meat itself was tender and juicy. I must say, it's one of the better tri-tips I've had in a restaurant.

Macaroni and Cheese - Cheesy, but nothing spectacular.

Classic Mojito - The bartender had poured heavy so it was super strong. =)

Pomegranate Green Iced Tea - It comes unsweetened.

Overall, we had good experience here. Will be back again.

    Meh.

A group of five came here for dinner this past Friday evening. Despite the fact that it was raining out, there was still a 30 minute wait for a booth. We opted to stay despite the longish wait since we wanted to watch a movie after wards and we didn't want to walk far in the rain to the theater.

Once seated, our server came out. I didn't catch his name, but his service was just ok. He did keep our waters filled and checked on us a few times, but he didn't seem that into his job and it felt at times that he wanted to be elsewhere.

For food, I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad with extra avocado. Sure, it was a HUGE salad and it tasted great with just enough flavor. But for $17, it wasn't worth the price tag. That's way too much for me to spend on just a salad, in my opinion.

For a drink, I ordered the Wood Ranch Honey Beer. It was a decent light beer and I really enjoyed it. For $5, it was decently priced as well.

Would I come to Wood Ranch again? Probably not. For $27 (food, drink, tax, tip), this place was not worth the price tag. Plus, the wait was a bit long and the service was a bit on the lacking side.

    Cheers!

    [CATERING REVIEW]

About every 2 weeks, my company orders lunch from here. It's our favorite choice! So this review is based off their catered food.

(It might also be tastier because it's free for me!)

    BUT

I do really like their Garlic Rolls, very soft and tasty. And they're still warm when they arrive.

Tri-tip = Tender! The sauce it comes with isn't too sweet either. I eat about 3 strips of these.

Chicken = In the beginning I avoided this, since there was Tri-Tip but surprisingly, the chicken is really good too! Moist bits of meat!

Mac & Cheese = Rawrrrr!!! Cheeesy. One of our favorite sides.

Coleslaw = I have to have some sort of tangy side when eating heavy foods (must be the Asian in me) but I really enjoy their coleslaw.

Mashed Potato = Hm nothing too special.

Keep in mind I know nothing of their pricing since I get it for company lunches, there's no reason for me to go on my personal time ;)

But if you need catering the Irvine area, this place is a hit with us!

    Best. Mac and Cheese. Ever!

Every time I come here, I always get half a salad with a side of mac and cheese. It is honestly the richest, smoothest, cheesiest mac and cheese I have ever had! If you're lucky, and happen to go when they have their giant short rib special. Get it. You will not regret this because it is the best beef ribs you will ever taste. Plus it doesn't hurt that they give out free garlic rolls.

My husband and I went here for lunch after an early movie. The smell of wood-burning and, of course, MEAT was promising and we were happy to have a new place to try. Too bad those were empty promises.

At first I wasn't sure what to order - lunch special (two sliders + salad + side) or BBQ. There are bottles of sauce on the table, so I poured a bit out to taste. It was so disappointing! Something like old ketchup with all the wrong spices.  So I went with the sliders, but that wasn't much better. The turkey is heavily, heavily peppered and squashed within an inch of its life. They also mix shredded zucchini in with the meat, which doesn't add any flavor. its just odd. I couldn't take more than two bites. My baked potato was nice, but not worth going out for.

Husband had the tri-tip sliders and felt they were only so-so. From now on we'll leave the barbecue'ing at home!
