The experience- good- great service, a complimentary dessert, good location... etc.
The food-- mediocre- since Louisville's sushi scene has grown a whole lot in the past few years, my taste for sushi has become much more particular. Â The rice was sort of dry which really hurts the taste for me, and it just wasn't anything special. It was good, as most sushi is, but there was nothing that makes me want to go back as opposed to a list of others around Louisville. So yes, go there, eat sushi, and have a nice meal. However, I would recommend many other places ahead of Asahi.
