I am just not a fan, no matter how much I have tried. I do like the cream and crimson but can only eat one slice--it is super heavy, even for pizza. Avers is way too oily and makes most of my family feel sick afterwards. I go elsewhere for pizza when I pay, but Avers is edible. Good service.
Review Source:Whether you're in a drunken stupor, hosting a game day party, or what-do-you-want-for-dinner? dilemmas, Aver's has traditional and more gourmet pizza pies to satisfy any carb cravings. One of the two best pizza places B-town has to offer, hands down!
Whenever, I visit, I gotta grab a small 8" specialty pizza for myself (about $1/in of pizza), not bad! My all time favorite has to be the most unhealthiest pizza on the planet, *drum rolls* the CREAM & CRIMSON - smothered with a rich alfredo sauce base topped with thinly sliced, oven-roasted red potatoes, fresh garlic, generous dill, bacon, cheddar, and melty gorgonzola cheese. For the V's, there's plenty of specialty veggie pizzas available (when my healthy conscious kicks in - I'll give them a try also).
I've done the lambda gyro pi and build-your-own custom pizzas. Doesn't really matter what toppings you throw on because I don't think Aver's can deliver a crappy tasting pizza.
