Bar Louie

There is one thing you need to understand about this particular location: It's a bar, not a restaurant. At least that's the opinion I have formed from coming here many times.
If you come here in the evening, the bartenders are scantily-clad. There is a dance floor (packed on the weekends). You seriously can't move in this place, it's standing-room-only. And there's tons of bros standing around outside. I feel like I always run into people from college here, yikes.

Their food is ok. Standard bar food, I can't complain. Their beer selection is pretty much just like whatever you'll find at Buffalo Wild Wing's...meaning, they have their head up their butt thinking that they are giving you all these options, but those lavish options include Woodchuck, Shock Top, and Dos Equis. I mean hey, I like all those things, but if you are going to act like you have this amazing beer selection, then get some actual craft brews, ya know?

Anyway, I do like their buffalo calamari. so I'll give it more than 1 star. And the tuna sando is pretty decent.

I've always avoided this place since it seems really lame, pretentious and douchy.  Unfortunately a few nights ago a date wanted to go for the $1 burgers so to Bar Louie we went.  I tried to keep an open mind but after 5 minutes my initial prejudice towards the place was validated.  The place was full of male and female d-bags and the drink selection was weak.  They only offer a few beers, the most exotic one being Heineken, and the mixed drink and whiskey selection isn't much better.  I ordered a Manhattan since it was the only drink that looked palatable but it was way to sweet and just was not good at all.  How do you mess up a classic like that?  My date got a fruity drink of some kind and thought it was to sweet.  Not to mention the drinks were both very pricy.  
In a nutshell Bar Louis is the kind of place people in there early to mid 20s go when they really want to be cool but sadly just don't have a clue what cool actually is.

The girls working the bar were rude to my wife. The ignored her when she asked for a beer. But they were very attentive to me - even tho I was only drinking water!
So, if you want mediocre food, rude bartenders, slow service, then this is the place to go. As for me, I will spend my money elsewhere.
