After dining here,  I knew why this place was pretty empty. Our group of four was seated right away at 9pm on a Saturday night. We placed our drink and food orders at the same time since most people were hungry. Food took about 20 minutes, but came out way before our drinks! My mini steak tacos were good, but man that chef went overboard with the chopped onion! I had to scrape most of them off because it was too overwhelming. The chips and salsa were delicious and I should have saved myself a few dollars and just ate that. I had a regular margarita and it was pretty good, but I'd try a cucumber or another fun one next time.

Service was meh, but I liked how a different server brought out my birthday shot and sang to me! An extra star for that and the margarita samples we were given.

I'm not itching to go back, but a friend lives down the street so we may be back for drinks sometime.

The food was not that good, the drinks were weak, and the service was AWFUL! We waited 20 minutes for a waitress to approach our table with chips and salsa and take our drink order, and 30 minutes for her to come back to take our food order. Horrible.

I will say that I was told that it is better during the week for happy hour when the near west side isn't deserted, I was there on a Sunday...

I have never had such a hard time ordering, receiving and eventually paying for drinks.  It was Friday night around midnight.  This restaurant is the cousin of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and it was empty.  We sat at a table by the bar.  Someone came out with chips and salsa (perk!) and then left.  No indication of "I'm your server I'll be back to take your drink order."  So I went to the bar to order drinks.

"One carnarita, one margarita, two palomas, one silver tequila, neat."  Bartender, "What's a carnarita??"  Me, "I don't know, it's on your drink menu!"  I show her the flip drink menu that was sitting on our table.  "Oh, I didn't know we made that.  Let me see if I have the ingredients."  Ok...  I offer her my card to start a tab.  She says we have a server.  I apologize and tell her I'll order from him.  She says ok, but I'll continue making these drinks anyway.  Go back to the table.  Tell server I already put our order in at the bar.  Unfortunate, because the menu he left at the table has like 15 different margaritas on it that all of us would have liked to know about and order from.  Oh well.

He comes back with 4 drinks:  "2 palomas, 1 car...m..hm.erm..., 1 shot of tequila."  Ok, first, missing a margarita.  Second, "tequila, neat" is not the same as "shot of tequila" and it wasn't silver.  Lastly, do you not know the names of your own beverages!?!?  Fine, my friend gets her marg order in, it comes, life is good.  Chips and salsa are good.

We want to leave now, it's 1:30am.  No server.  I go to the bartender, "hey, can I just cash out?"  She says she'll tell my server we want our check.  Wait.  Wait.  Wait.  Don't even see him.  Finally see him, on the other side of the cavernous bar.  Finally get our check.  Hand him a card.  He runs the check AT THE BAR.  Sign, GTFO.  Probably won't be back, there are better $10 margaritas to be found.
