Boston Market

My wife and I have gone there a few times, mainly to get food for a holiday like Easter.  The folks are nice and help us out when ordering (we're always not sure what comes with what).  

The food usually tastes very good (I think out of the 5 times we went, only once did the Chicken taste really dry).

Want to watch this vegetarian climb the walls? Just give me a whiff of Boston Market's rotisserie chicken. My my, how the nose can toy with the tastebuds. I can almost remember the way the tender, moist and juicy meat tasted. Almost.

I'll continue to stick with the sides (while sneaking sniffs of my boyfriend's meal), which are suitable and plentiful for any herbivore. The garlic dill potatoes are amazing and equally suitable for fantasizing: delicately seasoned (which is a rare thing to find) and a real delight. And the original green beans are also lightly seasoned with garlic and couldn't be more perfect if they were kissed by angels. What were they thinking trying to replace them? The corn's beautifully buttered and the mac 'n' cheese is always a welcome taste of home.

The folks behind the counter have always been cheerful and polite, even when I crawl up in my Civic to a drive-thru window built for a Hummer. Roof service!

OK, so I know Boston Market is a chain and you pretty much know exactly what to expect. They are very uniform from location to location (with the exception of that crap one up in Mt. Prospect); however, this one stands out to me because of their excellent customer service that includes a drive-thru, bringing your meal to your table and busing it, and letting me try samples of their sides. The food is always warm and fresh. I can count on it to be good and they will look out for me with my money by suggesting combinations that are a better value. The loaded mashed potatoes are some of the best I've had and their macaroni might still be one of my favorites.
