Hooters

"No one goes to Hooter's for the wings"...False. I go to Hooter's for the wings. Yeah, I'm a chick, so that makes sense. But my husband says the same thing too, so we're in this together.

I do not care what anyone says. I love Hooters' wings. They are way, WAY better than BWW. Basically don't even compare. Their buffalo shrimp app is good too...I didn't think I'd like the combo of shrimp and buffalo, but it's interesting!

I know this doesn't really stray from the wings too far, but the Strip Cheese Sandwich is sooooooo good. There's something about chicken strips, covered in hot sauce, covered in CHEESE, that makes it gooey and delicious. I'm not just focusing on wings for my meal, this is what I get.

I always think their fries are over seasoned. Not just this location, but all of them. Ick.

Two complaints about this location:

#1: My husband and I ordered 1 set of buffalo shrimp and 20 wings to share, and took it to go. We get home...and they only gave us one tiny little cup of bleu cheese sauce. Seriously? Talk about skimpy.
#2: There's always like 10 women working there who aren't wearing the get-up, and they are just walking around like they are important. Wearing a hooter's polo or sweater or something, making it obvious that they aren't servers. I know that a restaurant has a lot of office staff, but it's weird to me when there's only 3 servers tending to tables and 10 other people just walking around, telling people what to do or just sitting at a table going over piles of paperwork. Weird is the only word I can use for this.

Otherwise, I love Hooters. I don't go there nearly enough.

I've eaten at dozens of Hooters all over the country and this one since it opened but never again.. Worst service I've ever had, if you can call being ignored at the bar for 15 minutes while others who sit down after me get served.. I never even got a hello.. I checked with the guy next to me to make sure I wasn't actually invisible so it wasn't that.. Never again.

Hooters is always the same, and it's fantastic. I know grilled cheese sandwiches are easy to make at home, but sometimes I'm just feeling lazy but still crave one, and their grilled cheese platter is the perfect solution! I enjoy it with hot wings as an appetizer and the fries with the jalapeño cheese for dipping. Yum!
My husband enjoys the buffalo chicken sandwich, the multiple TVs, and the staff.  I would agree, the waitresses are very friendly at this location! Another bonus, they recently upgraded their bar area here so that makes it look nicer inside.
