Jonafins

We found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was delicious. Good fresh fish and reasonable prices. Our only complaint was the wait. It took a good 40 minutes for our food to be made however it was made by scratch. In the future we will probably call ahead to avoid the wait.

What you see is what you get. Great fried fish at a reasonable price. The owner Jonathan is a very decent guy, always asks how you're doing.

One day as I was running some errands during lunch I decided to grab some food from here to take back to work. After I walked into the place I was immediately greeted by the owner who took my order and promptly went to making it. I had actually placed two orders (catfish and shrimp for a coworker), and both orders were made in front of me. The seafood came out fresh from the fridge and was hand battered and prepared right in front of me. In the meantime I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner (something I don't typically do). Including the variety of topics we had chatted about the owner actually told me where he gets his food as well as gave me tips on interesting varieties of fish to try on my own sometime.

Both my coworker and I were very pleased with the food. Batter was delicious.
