Applebee's

I have been to this particular location many times over the past seventeen years and it's been OK, but never spectacular.  Things have changed dramatically. The last time that I was there, within the last two months, the food was horrid! I ordered the full-size grilled oriental chicken salad, something that I have ordered many times before there and at other Applebees.  This time, it was tasteless and soggy.  I brought the leftovers home and the decided to just throw it out.  Yuck.

Prior to ordering the salad, I had asked to see a gluten free menu.  While the server, a woman, tried to be helpful, all I got was a huge and DIRTY binder that listed the ingredients of everything on the menu.  The information was there, but I had to hunt for it and that made me angry.

I have to reiterate that the server, an intelligent young woman, did a good job.  You would think that the leadership of Applebees, having read trade magazines, would have had a better handle on producing a menu that better served those with wheat and gluten problems.

I also noticed that there was no Wi-Fi in the joint and when I asked the manager about this, apparently there are NO plans to change that.  I have to admit that sometimes I like to surf while I am waiting for my food.  Even smaller non-chain restaurants can pull off Wi-Fi these days.  Why can't Applebees do the same?

The music playing is always loud and not to my liking, but at least there is no smoke.  I would say that in this particular unit, it's time to freshen up the decor, change the carpet and get with the times.

I hope to not be tempted to go back there.  If you're seeking a good greasy burger or steak, however in a noisy environment, then, you'll be in heaven.

Where are the negative stars?! This place would get negative 4 if it'd have let me.
One of the absolute WORST dining experiences I've had in ages.

My fiance and I moved to the area with the help of his parents and I decided to treat us all to dinner..figured now would be the time to use the gift cards I had received for Christmas. We ordered the boneless wings appetizer (8 in total for $10? - ridiculous!) and then our main meal came....  3/4 people's food was soggy as all hell. ALL the quesadilla burgers were wet...my club sandwich was wet?!?! Seriously?! My fiance said he enjoyed his chicken portobello but the rest of us were so disgusted that I just paid and left because we didn't want to be there any longer. I will NEVER be back to this location and I suggest you all do the same. Waste of time and waste of money.

Save yourself the trouble and head to Olive Garden down the road, for the same price you could enjoy an EDIBLE meal.

One Word!! Dirty and Outdated!!
The wait staff was friendly and nice but the food and everything was negative 10!!!
Will not be returning.
