    ------------
    UPDATE
    ------------

I initially gave this place a higher rating, but Rigo's response to my review further reminded me why I hate this place. Here is his comment on Yelp in response to my initial critique all the way at the bottom.

"Starbucks is around the corner Sir. Next time please at least bring a credit card with some available credit. We do not advertise, we do not offer discounts, we do not offer Groupon deals. Whoever do not belongs is not welcome." -- Rigo F.

    ---------------------------
    My response to Rigo
    ---------------------------

I go to your place a few times a month with friends and dates, and each time I smoke Cuban cigars and we have a few drinks each. We usually end up spending $100-500. Clearly that money is meaningless to you, so I will take my business elsewhere.

Further, your whore of a mother should have taught you not throw stones from a glass house, and here is why.

    1) Your chandeliers constantly have burned out light bulbs. I have observed that there are usually 1-2 burned out bulbs per chandelier. If you are doing so well with your 'exclusive' BS that anyone can join, why do you have burned out bulbs that go months or even years before you buy new ones and replace them?

    2) Same thing goes for your super loud, old-school window fans. Spend a few bucks and buy a real ventilation system. I have never been to any other cigar shop where you hear the loud humming of the fans.

    3) I recall a conversation where I mentioned how the music does not match the atmosphere. You mentioned that you bought the place as-is and didn't like the decor, but didn't want to spend the money to change it over to a Cuban feel. Hence you chose the music you liked, but did not change anything else. Clearly the exclusivity of your club explains why money is too tight for you to buy a little bit of paint and some new furniture.

    4) If you want to compare paychecks in response to my so called maxed-out credit card (which is odd given that I always pay cash at your place), why is it that you work 10 hours a day, 6-days a week pouring drinks for people, cleaning the toilet and getting smoke blown in your face by that 1 fat regular that smokes cigarettes all night at the bar? Let me guess -- you do it for fun and don't care about the money so just burn it in front of poor people while you laugh at them with your wealthy friends.

    5) "Whoever do not belongs" should not have an 's' at the end of belong and should be "Whoever does not belong". Your inability to use 4th-grade grammar shows just how high-class you really are, you scum.

    6) If your place is so exclusive why do you have such a bad stock of Cubans? You tend to have 3-4 boxes, most of which are empty. Most "exclusive" places have a full cabinet of Cubans so customers can get some variety. And same goes for selection of Cuban cigars. You tend to have lower-end Cubans like Fonseca. A great cigar but no where near as 'exclusive' as a Cohiba Reserva or Partagas Culebra.

    7) For the last 3 months, each chandelier has had exactly 1 light bulb burned out. My friend and I talked about it for 20 minutes during our visit and concluded that Rigo being the cheap SOB that he is, must have kept moving light bulbs around to make them less noticeable rather than spending the money on new ones. It is very unlikely to have 3 or 4 chandeliers with exactly 1 bulb out with none of them having 0 bulbs out and none having 2 or more out. Seriously Rigo, with the $28 cigars I've been buying from you, just go out and the spend the 10 bucks on some new light bulbs.

    My suggestion to everyone

If you want to experience a real cigar shop, check out Chadi's Cigar Club in Tarzana. People there are nice and friendly and the owner is great, unlike this Rigo prick. There is also Fat Stogies in Encino and a decent lounge in Old Town Pasadena. Just avoid Buena Vista unless you like paying double the price to douches like Rigo. But then again, if you are an arrogant prick with something to prove, it is best that you continue to hang out with Rigo and stay out of the good cigar shops.

    Last words to Rigo
    ------------------------

Take the butt-plug out of your a** and grow a few inches so you can talk eye-to-eye with us grown men. Then again don't because you are at eye-level with your customers while they are sitting back and you are standing in front of them pouring their drinks, collecting their ash and dirty glasses, and kissing up to them for a tip. If you weren't so condescending, perhaps you would make enough money to fix the chandeliers and to be able to do some of the maintenance to your cigar shop that has been deferred since back when BH was considered cool in the early 1990s. And for a guy that tries to act like such a baller, why does your wife look like a whore's foot? Nice lady when she works the bar, but the b***h is not very good on the eyes nor on her knees.

What a great little spot!  I am decidedly NOT a cigar gal.  But when my friends brought me here after we'd had a gorgeous meal and I was tipsy, I had a cigar and a libation and hung out with the big boys.  After all, you're not supposed to inhale a cigar.  I'm told it's incredibly rare to find a cigar place that also has a bar.  This unpretentious little spot has a deer head on the ceiling, and lots of cigars to choose from. It's dark, red, and relaxed, and reminds me of the room I want to have in my dreamhouse with leather chairs and a smoking pipe (to chew on) and books everywhere.  Rigo, the sweet owner/proprietor, is just lovely.  And Rigo's Cuban, so he really knows his cigars, I'm told.  Anyway, we had a ball, met some fun folks, and if I ever go again I'll drink Zacapa.  Mmm...If you're a cigar lover, I'd think is is the best place for you.
