After being seated, waiting for 10 minutes and never got acknowledged.  Walked out hungry.

I like BWW a lot, and this one is like most others I've visited (other than the exceptionally high Alaska pricing). I'm a regular, they take care of me well, and so I like the place.

But they can be really nonchalant with the food. I ordered a $2.49 "Veggie Boat" because I like lots of carrots and celery with my wings. What I got was depressing. A few sticks of celery jumbled in with a lot of tiny, broken pieces of carrots. The server should have been embarassed to bring this to the table.

C'mon BWW, you're good, but a little more attention to detail could really make a big difference for some of us.

Note: No Happy Hour, they're illegal in Alaska (save a few grandfathered places).

I can't understand why this place is in business.  If you enjoy cold wings and extremely poor service from crabby-ass people then by all means go!

Here is a great example of why you should not eat at chain restaurants.

BAD IDEA - Save your money and go to the Spenard Road House or the Peanut Farm instead

TWO HOUR WAIT on a Saturday night. Exactly one hour to be seated and over one hour so far for food...absolutely terrible! THEN my order was wrong and I didn't get my appetizer until AFTER my entree!!!!!! HORRIBLE!

Husband loves this place, but I believe the prices are crazy. We have come back only for the televisions. The menu is typical, but I wouldn't come here on my own. Customer service is hit and miss. They are understaffed sometimes. Food does come out quick, but its fried... Doesn't take long. We bring our kids here and a lot of others do also. Military Wednesdays!

As long as you're not trying to go on Football Sunday you should have a pleasant experience. Alaskans are so starved for new restaurants, a sporty hang out like this  really takes over. The staff is cheery but clearly overworked. Maybe I just need to go on a Wednesday at 10 am, but this place always seems to be packed.
For this reason I just always order to-go (call ahead or wait an hour!) and enjoy their amazing salt and vinegar wings from the comfort of my own sofa.

Its FREEZING inside - beware. The 12 year olds who work here could care less about service. Food took forever. I get that it's NFL Sunday but how tough is it to make wings?

My husband and I went to BWWs yesterday to watch the Ohio State game since we couldn't get it at home. This Buffalo Wild Wings is no different than any others I've visited, aside from the prices being through the roof. It is Alaska, so high prices are to be expected. However it's hard to justify paying $15 for a dozen classic wings (that aren't very meaty) and then wash it down with an $8 draft beer. We sat at the bar, and the service was good. If you go here, be prepared to spend. You might be better off at your favorite, lesser-known sports bar...I just didn't know where else to go.

I'm taking a star away. I came in with the same buddy I came with last time. Sat in a section this time, but it isn;'t much different than the bar, so dark with all those TV's yelling at me. I guess I  don't like sportsbars too much... Anyhoo we came in and it was slightly busy, but got a table right away. We ordered food and got watered and then spent the better part of an hour waiting for the food. The waitress kept coming by and saying it's coming" or "they're traying it up now" and "i'll be right back with it". Even she knew it was ridiculous, but I would hve rather she didn't keep coming back and doing that. We gave it 4 more minutes and walked out. It wasn't even a big order. It was just a couple of sandwiches, sheesh. I won't be back, it kills me to have to wait to spend money...

I don't see what's wrong with BDubs. Seems like any other location in the lower 48's. Can't seem to understand all of the bad reviews. I went really late one night and sat in the bar area, food was good just how I remembered it out of state, music was really good that night, and service was great. Perhaps all of these other bitter Alaskans were anticipating Buffalo Wild Wings so much it just couldn't/didn't live up to their impossible standards they imagined in their heads. Alaska is trying to come up on the food service industry, let's give them a try. They don't have fairy dust to sprinkle on the food to meet everyones unrealistic standards.
In conclusion Buffalo Wild Wings here seems no different then the locations I've tried in other states, I liked it there and I like it here.

Tastee Freeze food for Moose's Tooth Price

After the grand opening hubub, I went on a Saturday afternoon to try out the place despite one co-worker's general comment "I wasn't impressed." I had a fabulous experience at BWW in Honolulu last November and I expected things to be similar (they generally are with chains). I was severely disappointed. First, the whole place reeks of "cheap", except the price. Nearly all food service items are disposable like a fast food restaurant. For a wings place to have one paper napkin per person on the table? How many times do you want me to ask your staff for what I need to eat there? The food was served in little paper fold-up carton ala Dairy Queen - let's just say lacking in presentation. I asked for a plate. they brought me another carton. Everything (and I mean everything) is extra. The food was marginal. Lunch for 2 with an appetizer and iced teas was $33. Go to Moose's Tooth or Peanut Farm and have a decent lunch. I don't mind paying for a quality dining experience. Or charge me Tastee Freeze price for Tastee Freeze food. But not what I paid.

I thought about complaining to the manager, but honestly, I'd have to go back and decided it wasn't worth it. It's that bad.

My dad, his employee, and I went here with high hopes for this new business. Upon entering it was a really nice facility and the waiter/waitress's jerseys was a very clever touch. Our server was really friendly and prompt in her service.

There is one thing, worth three stars, that completely ruined the whole experience. The wait time. As long as it took, they probably started with killing the chickens and picking the mushrooms. Well over an hour for three half size batches of wings, chicken quesadillas, and stuffed mushrooms- that is ridiculous! We were about to starve by the time we got our food. Good thing my dads employee was with his boss on this trip, because if his lunch was only a certain amount of time, he would have been in a heap of trouble.

The stuffed mushrooms were horrid. They tasted like fried mush. Gross gross gross. The chicken quesadillas tasted identical to the ones Applebee's serve. The paper trays reminded me of my school cafeteria. How lame. I wasnt happy with this place at all. Parking I imagine, would be a pain since there were hardly any spots. Lucky for me I was on my motorcycle and parked up front. I wouldnt suggest coming here unless different TV sports in every direction can hold you down for an hour while you wait for under amazing food that will probably lead to a stomach ache.

We've been here for 3 hours. Half of our party got their good 20 minutes ago. The rest of us still waiting. The ribs are super tough & difficult to eat.

I know your new but you should have had a few days before you opened to work out the bugs. It took over 1 1/2 hours for my wings that took 7 mins to fry. Also don't rip off your customers. Yes I know it's Alaska and yes I know shipping cost more. But .80 for a blue cheese and when I ordered 50 wings I got 0? That's like ordering a cheese burger and having to pay for the bun that's madness! I know you have to make extra where you can but why not take it from where it's more valid. I felt ripped off asking for one blue cheese that cost you all of .03 cents and had to pay .80 for it. Add that money to my wing cost or don't offer the special on Tuesday. The offer is to drive people in every week not to get them once then never again. I will enjoy my wings in the lower 48. There is no need to be ripped off any more in Alaska I will buy your sauce and make my own wings and if I have friends over I won't charge them for blue cheese.

I went with three friends and we devoured fifty wings. They let you divide your order into different sauces which makes it easy to share.
I got the "hot" wings which were tastier and spicer than my friends "wild". The "mango habanero" were sleepers- sweet at first, then after a few seconds mega spice hits you! We also had "caribbean jerk" and "Thai curry", both tasty, but I liked the jerk ones better.
We sat in the bar and service was beyond amazing. Local brews on tap were a plus.

Prior to going to Buffalo Wild Wings today I had not heard of the place. I went because my roommate had been on opening night and thought it was awesome. Within the first 20 minutes I would have to say that my experience was the exact OPPOSITE.
The wait time wasn't really that bad, about 15-20 min, but then when we were taken back to be seated, I guess the hostess really didn't want to have to make several trips to do her JOB so instead stood there and called out four different parties names and asked them ALL to follow her at the same time so she could sort them out and try to seat everyone at once. Seriously? They were really not that busy.
The second negative experience was the fact that this place is not at all accommodating for children. In fact, it's a joke. I get it though, it's more like a sports bar grill whatever you want to call it. But still, the tables are so close together you really can't move without bumping into the person at the table next to you, so forget about having room to put a highchair. Aside from that, I guess the servers haven't had a lot of experience in moving between the tables around seated customers because I swear I was seated for all of about 4 minutes before the a waitress walked by and FULL ON BACKED HER ASS ALL UP ON ME as she tried to walk by. I thought are you F'n serious? As much as I'm sure some guys like a good scrape of ASS with their chicken wings, I DO NOT.
Our waiter seemed horribly inexperienced in both taking orders and customer service. We ordered out drinks and had to wait about 15 min before he finally came back over with two cokes and a water. But oh, they weren't the only drinks on his tray, which apparently made his job harder since he couldn't keep track of which drinks were which and had a hard time keeping them from spilling over.
When we finally did get to place our order we waited another 35-40 min before our MEDIOCRE food made it's way to the table. With the wings our table ordered we also got carrots, which you could quite obviously tell were old and dried and had been sitting out for awhile. Rubbery carrots and lukewarm chicken wings. MMMmmmmm.
At least we weren't as out of luck as the table next to us, who had apparently been waiting since 3pm (it was 5pm when we got there) and had still NOT YET gotten their food because someone had misplaced their order.
We had to find a different waiter to refill our drinks and then ask another waiter to cash our check out when we were finished. Though he told us he couldn't do that because it wasn't his table. AWESOME. Instead he went to find our waiter to do it and of course that took him another 15 min to remember we existed.
I can understand that when a place is new it takes some time to get into the swing of things, but with all the waiters, waitresses, and MANAGERS that were there just STANDING around I would have assumed they had time to focus more on customer service. I also work in a food establishment and as a manager I would have been ashamed if I ran my shifts like those managers were at BWW today.
The mediocre food (comparable to Pizza Hut chicken wings), horrible lighting (think dungeon dark), blazingly loud atmosphere (who needs 40+ TV's AND music at the same time?!?!) cramped seating (Hello server's ass please meet my face), and lacking customer service are sure to drive any customer away who wants to sit down and enjoy a meal in a comfortable restaurant. Save your money and time and wait in line at Olive Garden instead.

Was so excited to finally have a bdubs open in alaska only to be disappointed by the horrible service.  Its not from a lack of training,  its just flat out horrible service.  I've been 3 times so far,  the first time i didn't even get any food.  I had a to go order and was still waiting for wings an hour and 45 minutes later.  The second time was a bit better,  i actually got some food after an hour wait to be seated.  also this bdubs does not have open seating in the bar area like the rest of the buffalo wild wings in the united states.  Again the service was lacking.  The third time i went to bdubs was around 11 at night and we had no wait and were seated right away.  Yes!  finally i can get seated and get some tasty wings! Wrong!!  we had the worst waiter ever!  He never even came to check on us or see if we needed another beer.  I had to go track him down at the bar while he was chatting up the bar tender so i could get our table another round of drinks.  He put our order in wrong so we didn't get the wings we wanted but didn't feel like going through the pain of getting more wings and then he messed up splitting our ticket 6 times.  It ended up taking us 30 minutes just to pay so we could get out of there.  As much as i like buffalo wild wings i think i'm just going to be waiting till i go to the lower 48 to have it.  The only reason this place got 2 stars was because its clean and I am a fan of the wings.

Arrive at 11am. Beat the lunch rush so no waiting. Service was great. The wait for the food a little long. I say about 30-45 mins. Ordered the soft pretzel. Was good and really fresh. I had the traditional wings and boneless combo. Came with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was okay. I got the wings in honey bbq. Delicious. The boneless were toss in hot bbq. Not so spicy but just perfect. The girlfriend got the wings n ribs. Ribs were very good. The mango lemonade was also good. Overall good place so far! Was real busy by the time we left at 12:30.There was a wait list. Cant wait til football season. Lots of tv there. Go check them out if u love wings.

Tried to come here on opening day but the wait was a nice 2 hours, F that! But stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and surprisingly the wait was only 20-30 minutes. Not bad.

The service is mediocre, they seem to be new and inexperienced. But I don't judge. They're all very sweet, regardless of how slow they are.

I dislike how dark it is in the restaurant, charcoal wall paint and no lighting is no bueno. But I guess the 10,000 TVs make up for the lack of light bulbs? Or maybe they're going for that dining in the dark vibe?

But, I did love their Mango Lemonade, that is the shiz. The Huckleberry lemonade was ok, but I dont know WTF huckleberry is lol.

I liked the Blazin hot sauce, had a nice kick. But, didn't live up to the servers warnings, apparently its the hottest sauce they have. I conquered it!

Overall the food is mediocre and the service is slow. The hype is overrated making the wait way too long. They also charge $0.80 for a side of ranch, like really!? I ordered 12 wings, but only get 2 ounces of ranch... how could that possibly be enough?

Had a bad experience with buffalo wild wings. Our group was rudely pushed out of the bar side by the waitress, basically because we were just waiting for our table & didn't want to order appetizers yet but we were ordering drinks! Got our table, they forgot our drinks, didn't get parts of our order till the end of the meal, waitress spilled hot sauce all over my husband's pants & shoes, & our bill was all messed up. Mango habanero was pretty good, asian zing was alright, & the parmesan garlican was meh. Still had a good time in a new atmosphere with good friends & good laughs though. See you in 2-3 months when u get your act together BWW!

Haven't been here since I've been in the states but it was ok. Don't go here unless you don't mind the 1-2 hr wait just like the hostess had said. But great place to hang out with buddies.
