Some friends and I were at the MOA to see a movie, and afterwards we were hungry so we thought we would stop by for some wings. One of my friends asked to be seated on the patio type seating, I didn't really care where we sat, but went with it. After the hostess sat us at the table we waited five minutes for our waitress to come. The manager came by and said there was no waitress in this section because they had closed it, so we would need to be served by the bartender, aka we were going to be getting crappy service. If you closed the section why did you seat us there?! We put our food order in right away and waited over 45 minutes for our wings to come. Keep in mind, it was 10 o'clock on a weekday, no game on, and the place was dead. The waitress/bartender took forever to bring the bill, so my friend tracked down the manager and gave him our credit cards so we could pay the bill and leave. I had wings left over but didn't bother asking for a box (since I knew it would take forever) so I proceeded to carry my wing tray through out the mall. I'll stick to the Chan location.
Review Source:We are staving. Sitting on the bar for 10 minutes no service. The waitress are just walking by or chatting with other but no one come and serve us. It not seem like they are too busy today. I give this place two stars because at lease the food taste good. I addictive to the chicken wings here.
Review Source:This was a so-so experience. I had interactions with 2 of the staff one amazing the other horrible.
One, the hostess was rude and passed me up for the family of four waiting in line behind me. Skinny girl with glasses and braces and dark hair. Should be fired. I was to meet friends and got their first. I don't care if I was by myself. Uncalled for.
Decided to just meander to the bar to wait for my friends to show up and got a bartender named Sam. Unfortunately it was Sam's last night, but by far one of the top 5 servers I have ever had, and of all places at a chain restaurant!
Sam hooked me up with beers, and when my friend called and said he was running late, food as well, and didn't charge me for extra bleu cheese for my wrap. Food was delicious and very fast. No time at all.
I have to give this place an mediocre review if only for the bad hostess...if I didn't have her in the picture honestly would have gotten 4 stars if not 5.
Hmm I feel like I am always excited to come here but then I leave disappointed that I paid double the price of fast food fare for the same type of food. Don't get me wrong; when you are in the mood for wings, BWW is totally going to hit the spot! But all it really entails is cheaply fried food with tons of sauce.
It's only over $1.20 but I was slightly annoyed that they were trying to nickel and dime us on celery especially since my husband had wings and we had to request it. I don't want to be petty but lets be real, it's annoying.
This place isn't terrible but it's really not that great either. Meh!
Wow. I had a so-so experience at Buffalo Wild Wings last week for lunch in Roseville. So I thought I'd give them another chance and went to the Bloomington/MOA location. Let me tell you the Buffalo Wild Wings experience got worse.
The entire restaurant was dirty. Water spills on the floor, the bathroom unclean (big No No for me), and we were sitting in the bar near one of the drink stations. That should have been the sign for me to turn and run.
Our server, Lauren, was very nice, but we only saw her four or five times during the entire visit, and only had our drinks refilled once. When the food came out the food runner said, "Who had the salad?" My answer: "We both had salads." When she said, "Who had the wings?" I said, "Which wings?", and she could not identify the Lemon Pepper wings. They were out of fat free Ranch, so I asked what other fat free dressings they had, and she had to ask someone. She never returned with my dressing.
Too hungry to wait for Lauren to return, I began to eat my salad, sans dressing. Finally, Lauren came over and I told her about the dressing, and she came back with some.
Based on this visit, I would not have to return to a Buffalo Wild Wings ever again. The food wasn't that outstanding, and the lack of service makes me want to spend my consumer dollars elsewhere.
If I'm craving wings, I can always go to that other place where they also serve wings. Now what's it called again???
I'll preface by saying that the food was decent but my issue here was the service. It was easily the worst service I have ever had at a Buffalo wild wings. First off, our waitress was very obnoxious. She started off when one person we were with ordered the unlimited wings and she said in a condescending tone "you aren't allowed to share them, they'll be for you only!" and he's like "no shit, I eat here all the time, I know!" and then, our order took a total of 40 minutes to arrive. Even our drinks took 10 minutes! We weren't getting anything exotic, we were only getting sodas! Then our order finally arrived and our wings were lacking in sauce and she didn't even bring napkins....this is buffalo wild wings....wings *drowned* in sauce (at least normally) and you don't think to bring napkins!? *then* the waitress was never to be seen and when we asked for 2 things, napkins and extra sauce on the side, she took her time in retrieving both of the above. The resturant was not busy at the time we were there, there is absolutely no excuse for being slow. I then asked for another waiter to send the manager over and he promptly came and then he almost instantly caved when we complained and dropped a fair bit off of our bill. When the manager caves that quickly, you know there is a consistent issue at this location. Also, the instant we complained, the orders for more of the unlimited wings suddenly started to come within 5 minutes of the order. Buffalo wild wings is good but this *specific* location is *not*. I probably would go again and give it another shot and hope the service is better but, I don't have much faith in this location. Who knows, maybe by the next time i'm at the MOA, things will be better.
Review Source:If your a wing man (or woman) and live for this type of fare, this place is for you (and me). Â
I was here for an approved Buffalo Wild Wings fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. Â This is a great deal because all customers that supply the server with your pre printed "fund raising coupon," your organization gets 10% of all food sales. Â This doesn't cost the customers anything extra!! Â How easy is that? Â The BIG catcher is you can't hand out the coupons on site to other customers.
We had two different flavors of wings, the sweet BBQ and mild, and requested extra crispy and extra sloppy. Â The service was quick and before you knew it we were knuckle deep in wing sauce. Â
I've also had their sliders and they are quite good for a wing joint.
The also have the electronic video trivia that you compete against other people in the restaurant and nationally. Â There are plenty of HD TVs hanging all around and it gets packed for the bigger sports game days.
They also give a 10% discount for take out.
I'll be back :)
