As far as service goes, this place is a hit or miss. The food is good though and it's a great place to kick back and watch some sports. BWW has decent wing flavor selections and side options. However, my multiple experiences with some of their crappy servers is why I can only give this place a 3 out of 5. I've had issues such as incorrect orders, slow service, and inattentive servers.
Review Source:The place is obviously quite large from the outside and really loud on the inside.
When you walk in the wide open setting gives you an idea of how great of a place it can be for watching sports. Of course it's to noisy for anything else but that's why it's a sports bar!
Drinks: The place has a pretty good size bar (bar) in the place, which was also full and filled with loud cheer. Thankfully it was separated from the main floor keeping the happy hour crowd happy and the dad (me) happy since I was there with my family to watch some games, which included my 15y/o daughter, lol. Still I don't think I would bring her there at night but since it was a weekend afternoon it was fine. Â Â
Appearance: The carpet was a bit dirty with remnants of wings and things but then again it was a really crowded a sports bar so I guess that's to be expected. That being said the male bathroom was pretty dang clean despite the large amount of activity it was receiving from amount of beer that was flowing through the fans.
TV's: No shortage here and if you don't want to watch one of the many large screens play the trivia games on one of dedicated screens. Great resolution, size and options of games to see from any seat (5 Stars).
Service: Well not everything went well. Slow would be appropriate. Slow to be seated, slow to bring us our drinks and even slower for our food to arrive. At least it came with a smile (2 Stars, only because the wait...sorry nice waiter).
Food: I ordered the Nacho Burger with extra jalapeno's but they were so tasteless and mild I couldn't tell they were there at all. Even so the burger and the side order of coleslaw was pretty good (3 Stars). My wife and daughter shared a flatbread, salad (yes salads at a sports bar?), and 6 wings but only ate 4, leaving me 2. Our son ordered nothing but wings of various sauces. The flatbread was much better than I expected (3 Stars), the salad was fair to good (2 Stars) and the wings were pretty good (3-4 Stars)
Desert: We skipped it, sorry nothing to add here.
Overall: BWW is a great place for a large group of sports fans to sit and watch a game or a few to head into the bar and have a great time. I'll be back but only for a game otherwise it's just OK - final rating 3 Stars.
I will not go back to this location, especially on a football Sunday.
Two major issues, One my boyfriend did they challenge, and they conveniently could not find a camera to take his picture. Someone supposedly took it with their cell phone, but it was the most unprepared group for a challenge taker I have ever seen. No stop watch, no camera, nothing.
The second major issue. We arrived on a football sunday specifically to see the Chargers. We were wearing Chargers gear, and we tell the waitress to seat us where we can see the Chargers. That particular day, the Chargers were playing the Colts, so later, a couple of colts fans were sat near us to see that TV.
One play into the game, they randomly change the channel to another game. Mind you, this other game was on at least 4-5 other tvs. This was the only tv with the colts chargers game. We were mad. We had gotten there an hour before the game to secure our spot, and someone else comes in last minute and gets the channel changed.
We argued and out game was put on a tiny screen we had to strain to watch. Meanwhile, this group of 4, got to watch their game on 4 tvs from every angle.
Their food service is slow, you have to chase a waitress to get a drink refill, and the whole football and challenge problems makes me never ever want to go back.,
I go other places that are way more organized for Sunday football now.
The overall experience at Buffalo Wild Wings was not that great. Our food came about an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered it. However the manager came over and offered us a 25% discount which was a nice gesture.
Overall the food I had ordered was good, but some people at my table had gotten burnt fries. I had gotten a pulled pork sandwich and fries (crispy yet not burnt).
So I am gunna start off by saying I generally only come here for a football game. Overall I have not been satisfied with them. Their menu is seriously laking choices. I know it's a sports bar but still everything on the menu is fried or greasy and their salad was pathetic. I like how large they are but it can get very loud in there. I should say if you are in the mood for wings they are good but i am really not a fan of their food, sadly. On a side not their sweet tea is yummy.
Review Source:Saw commercials . . . had to try . . .
WINGS : Yes - they are good - many flavor options
Can't really say anything overly positive beyond : WINGS ! . . . we had a group of 5 (?) and two went rouge ( non wings ) . . . bang for buck looks to be the wings. Â I didn't try their food so will not comment other than : wings are good.
Beer & Tv where both positive.
Eye candy [ & service ] - hey, bar - beer - wings - tv - sports - guy joint . . . wasn't much there as in fewer servers than should had been resulting in semi slow service - several empty glasses during the evening - they did loose beer sales from our group for sure - table next to us just left after 30 minutes of no service at all. Â I would hope that is not the normal [ did go there once since my first trip, see wings - much better service ]
This place is hit or miss. I used to go every Tuesday night with about 3 other guys. I was kinda treated poorly by the females waitresses, which is kind of funny to me. They bent over backwards (not literally, well maybe) for the guys, and hardly knew I was there- but oh yeah I was the one paying and leaving the tip. Ha! Some of them maybe should have gotten a job at another wing place across the street...
Anyway, when I go during the day the service is much better. The food is fine, just like any other BWW. The last time I went I tried the Blazin. It was hot, but not as hot as I expected. That was fun times. We will definitely be returning, getting take-out, etc.
Food is what you expect from one of these places. Â If you're a fan of wings, then you're in the right place. Â There are plenty of flavors to choose from. Â I chose the Spicy Garlic this time and it was very tasty.
They have the trivia game where you get buzzers at your table and that can help pass the time when you have enough people playing.
I gave it 3 stars because it was just pretty low key. Â No real games or other events going on so maybe it was just an off night. Â The server was fine, the place was clean, etc. but there just wasn't enough going on for me to give it 4 stars.
Also, they do happy hours but I think they all end at 9.
After seeing commercials of this restaurant, I finally ate here. Ive tried three diff flavors for wings: parmesan garlic, teriyaki, and spicy garlic. parmesan was the best out of the three, but still not too impressed. I'm still a fan of wingstop. but i do how like the design of the place. There were also some arcade games at this location too. We went during lunchtime on a friday and it seemed a bit understaffed, but the overall experience was good. Any restaurant with TV screens everywhere you look is a "+" in my book.
Review Source:Me and my friend decided to go to BWW tonight at 915pm. The restaurant was not busy, plenty of empty tables but was told that there's 15 minutes wait but if we sit at the bar area we could be serve fast and it's first come first serve. Waited for 10 minutes, nobody came to serve us. We should have waited 10 minutes so that we can sit in the dining area than waiting more than 10 minutes like nobody sees us. This was not the first time that happened to us. The reason of wait is because they don't have enough servers. This place needs to close down if no enough people to serve customers. I will never step in the branch again...I rather drive to virginia beach where service is good.
Review Source:Was at BWW today and it was so ordinary. Â It took longer than expected to be seated; there were at least 6 tables available in the dining rooms that were empty. Â Shouldn't we have been seated right away? The wait was about 10 minutes.
It took forever to get the food. Â We ordered the drinks; they came out pretty quickly. Â We also ordered potato wedges. Â They are still an appetizer, right? Â Well, they came out with the wings. Â We sat there it seems forever, nursing the tall boys. Â I was adamant about it being a one-beer-evening. Finally the wings arrived - mild, medium, dry buffalo, chipotle bbq, and desert heat. Â There were two sets of medium - one spicy and heavily sauced and the other lightly sauced and not hot at all. My chipotle bbq had bald spots. Â
The service was OK, the food could have been better, and the wait to get our food was ridiculous. Â BWW's problem - not consistent. Is this the new norm? Â I hope not...
I should say first that, while the restaurant as a whole did NOT impress me, the manager, LaVell (sp?) did everything in his power to make it up to my friend and me. Details to follow.
We ordered takeaway in the form of 1 order of honey bbq wings and 2 orders of "naked tenders" (grilled chicken strips), one with the Thai curry sauce and the other with garlic/Parmesan sauce, one with fries and the other with a side salad.
The Thai curry sauce is quite possibly the saltiest substance I've ever encountered. It was way saltier than the cheapest Glasgow chip-shop curry sauces, which is to say, almost nothing BUT salt. The garlic sauce was okay, but still saltier than I'd prefer. The honey bbq wings were mediocre - not bad, but not good enough to order again.
The main problems were:
My friend's naked tenders were flat-out raw. They'd been barely seared on the grill, but were just raw chicken. The manager replaced them, gave my friend gift certificates in the amount of the cost of her meal ($10), and threw in a dessert for the trouble of having to drive back out there.
My french fries were cold and stale. These were also replaced without question and I was given a free dessert as well.
The manager also asked us to bring back the raw chicken so he could call a meeting and show it to the staff as an example of what NOT to do.
All in all, this would've been a 3 or 4 star rating, but the food just was not that good, even when it was hot and cooked right. Everything was really salty. For note, I don't actually have a problem or sensitivity to added salt and cook with it myself all the time. I just don't make it the main ingredient!
They have the best Platter on the Appetizer menu...(Mozzarella sticks, Nachos, Wings, and Onion Rings) I always get this as my entrée and substitute the boneless wings for regular wings and is the best deal for what you get ($12)...I must say, they have the most delicious Queso, for the nachos, I have ever had! Mmm!
Review Source:Stopped in here to watch some college football on Saturday...
Our waiter was great, kind of a cheesy, annoying guy...but still, attentive, so that's the important part when drinks are involved...
I had the grilled chicken wrap with honey barbecue sauce...it hit the spot at the time, but wasn't earth-shattering or amazing...
My husband had some wings, they were gone quickly, so I assume they were enjoyable...
Love all the tv's and the staff was very quick to change any tv to whatever channel we wanted, so we had a great view of our game (Go Irish!!!) and great service throughout the entire game...
Gotta say it wasn't so great Sunday afternoon. The service was great. The problem, the wings. I ordered my normal Spicy Garlic and they barely had any sauce on them. I could have said something, and I should have, however I was under a time constraint for lunch and didn't have time to wait for them to make another order. So I ate and ran. I'm disappointed though. I expect better here.
Review Source:I havent been to Bdubs since college so I kind of forgot what a meat market it was. I don't do the wings scene, but my husband does and he loves all their sauces. Their chicken is really good, tastes fresh and plump (kind of like Chic Fila chicken, but better); I usually get the Naked Tenders which are grilled and seasoned to perfection and dip them into the mild sauce (which is SPICY ENOUGH on its own, trust me). They have a bunch of a fruitti tuitti drinks but I usually get wine because their Blue Moons are like $4.50. There are also like a billion TV's around so if you're socially awkward, like most guys are, this could be a great place for you and your socially awkward friends to sit around and not talk.
Review Source:So my co-workers and I ordered Buffalo Wild Wings take-out today for lunch, which we usually end up doing several times a month. I ordered a Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap with medium buffalo sauce and a side salad. They have many buffalo sauces to choose from but I love the traditional medium so most of the time I order that. My side salad was nice and fresh, with purple onions, chopped tomatoes, and croutons. They forgot my Italian dressing, however which I repeated to her several times over the phone, so that was huge bummer.
I love the food at Buffalo Wild Wings, whether I'm getting take-out or eating it BUT it seems like every time I do take-out there something is wrong with my order. The last few times I have been they have either forgotten my dressing, or my side of ranch, etc. Today they forget my Italian dressing as well as giving my coworker chips and salsa when she asked for fries.
Basically, I think the food here is great (I'm always a huge fan of anything buffalo sauce so perhaps I'm biased) but the service isn't quite up to par. Sure, the staff is always friendly but that really doesn't matter when I'm back in my office eating lettuce without dressing. I would have given Buffalo Wild Wings, in Chesapeake, more stars if it wasn't for the wrong orders lately.
Went with a group of dudes who love this place. Been there several times and it can get packed especially on that cheap wing night (tues). I had the jerk chicken sandwich. It would have been good if the bun was better. The wings are not the typical buffalo style, being a little more fatty/soggy than crispy. I hate that. On a side note be sure to specify what size beer you want before ordering because they will automatically bring out the large size.
Review Source:This is one of my favorite places to eat wings!!! Spicy garlic wings and Wild wings are the best in the selection. Though I have tried most of them but those two are on the top of the list. One of these days I'm gonna have to do the challenge........"Blazing Wings" but we'll see and I'll keep you guys posted!!!
It's a bit crowded and loud every time I go but what can you expect from a sport bar type restaurant! Fast service and friendly enviroment. If your not into sports and you wanna take your wife here.......don't do it!!! You won't be able to have that quality conversation with her/him cause this place gets loud especially when a good game is on. But if your into sports well you hit the jackpot!!!
I have to say... I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Â I realize that it's a chain, but for my first visit to a buffalo wild wings, I didn't really know what to expect. Â
Lots of big screen TV's with a nice selection of channels and sports. Â A huge selection of beers on tap.. including woodchuck cider!.... A friendly barkeep...and Wings that are VERY good. Â (Not quite on par with Hooters wings, but close). Â
It's too bad (or maybe a good thing) that we don't have any of these near my home....or I'd be a frequent visitor. Â :)
