I love how recluse it is.  I've been here a few times in the past six months and always enjoyed myself, except for the time the server was clearing my table and spilled the award-winning she-crab soup all over my dress.  

The soup can be hit or miss.  Sometimes kinda oily and sometimes with crab shells.  Yikes!

I love the bread pudding though.  I've had great rockfish there.  Great pad thai too.  

I don't care for the lunch menu, but I did enjoy some type of veggie medley burger they offered during those times.  

Very dim lighting.  Very small restaurant.  Very nice experience.

Funny, I've been to YNot several times and never noticed this intimate, lovely place. We had lunch here today and found a hidden treasure. Lunch was delicious and I can't wait to try their dinner menu!

I took my mother here for lunch and we arrived pretty close to opening. There weren't any other patrons around, just us. When we walked in I was asked if I had a reservation, which I did. He had only seen one reservation on the books. This was my first time making a reservation with Open Table, and being able to make the reservation directly in the yelp app on the way to PASSION was a bonus.

As we were being directed to a seat, I said that I preferred a booth seat and we were told we could pick any seat we desired.

I had looked over the menu and reviews online and had an idea of which entree I wanted to try but I didn't see it on the lunch menu. I looked for an alternative but nothing else really stood out to me (although I did select an alternate). So I asked the server if Brick Chicken was only available on the dinner menu and he said that he would inquire with the chef to see if he would make it for us. The server came back with great news, the chef said that we could order anything we wanted of either menu. A perk of being the only patrons at the time perhaps?

That sealed the deal Brick Chicken, Warm Spinach Salad and She Crab Soup.

We shared all 3 items and were still completely satisfied. The chef graciously split everything into half portions onto two plates.

Brick chicken (a whole half of a chicken flattened - moist, well seasoned, crispy skin), green beans & truffle Mac n cheese.
Warm spinach salad. was so delicious. The fruit, veggie, cheese, nut combo provided just the right balance of flavors and textures.
She Crab Soup. Intensely rich, creamy and thick.

The food was delicious, the customer service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with a great atmosphere.

Tips: Make a reservation. The lighting is dim even during lunch hours. Those without youthful eyes could have difficulty reading the menu.
