Buffalo Wild Wings seems like a thing of the past. Â I never think to come here anymore. Â The craft beer industry has taken over but this place didn't get the memo. Â It's a good place to watch a game but I would rather go to Charleston's or Jamesons so I can still drink some tasty brews.
The food is just ok to me. Â The buffalo wings are not nearly as good as Hooters.
Although BWW has great food they have AWFUL service! Â They higher teenagers who would rather talk on their phones or chit-chat with each other than get you your drink or food. Â I've been going here since it opened and they have really gone down hill. Â Like I said, great food but be prepared to be annoyed by your server.
Review Source:We arrived and they sat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant, even though there were clearly many booths available. Â By the time I tried to request a booth the hostess was gone.
The food came out after about 10 minutes and was exactly as ordered. Â I ordered the chicken tender salad with spicy garlic sauce and blue cheese dressing. Â The salad had lettuce, onions, croutons, and cheese. Â I would have liked to see more ingredients on the salad. Â I like the tortilla strips, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, celery that I've had on buffalo chicken salads at other restaurants.
The chicken had a little too much sauce and overwhelmed the flavor of the cheese and dressing. Â The dressing came separate in a plastic container and was a good amount.
The meal was very well priced, but I just wasn't impressed with the simplicity and flavor balance of the salad.
There were flat panel LCD/Plasma TVs all over the place. Â There were usually 3 within view of any seat position, with ESPNHD, ESPN2HD, and NBAHD. Â Great place to come and watch the game if you don't mind sound off. Â There are projectors near the bar that most likely have sound on for the popular games.
Yes, I am going to review a nationally owned chain restaurant. Well someone has to help out his fellow yelpers.
It's my youngest son's 15th birthday. He decided for his birthday lunch he wanted the group of us to go to Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife said I have been here before but I truly do not remember. That must not bode to well for the big Buffalo.
There were sports events galore on the many televisions. The Bulls were on one set, the Cubbies on another, the Tampa Bay and Calgary Hockey game on another, the Bruins and Sabres on another and one set even had trivia running on it.
Well we started our meal with two appetizers, Mozzarella Sticks and Mini Corn Dogs. Both were just average, nothing real special. Then the birthday boy starts the main course by ordering the Hot Wings. He usually orders a cheese burger, but today he got wings instead. Â My little man must be growing up. Â He did say they were good.
For my main course I ordered the Burger Slammers. This was three mini cheese burgers with thin cut french fries. The burgers were average and the fries were actually pretty good. My oldest son ordered the Ribs and Boneless Chicken Strips. He thought these were just okay. My wife and youngest daughter both ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger, Maria with onion rings and my daughter with fries. Again they thought their orders were just average.
Our waitress, Tori-Rae (first Tori-Rae I have ever met and a nice girl) brought out a chocolate covered brownie in chocolate sauce for the birthday boy. That was nice I thought, since we had been to a recently reviewed restaurant (Bistro Campaign) that did nothing for our birthday group.
Well our total bill came to roughly $74 dollars. Â I always think of Buffalo Wild Wings, like I do of TGI Fridays or Chilis or Applebees or those types of restaurants. Â The family trendie sports theme type of restaurant that can be loud and expensive. Â It's nice to try but I'm not yearning to head back. Â Sorry about that big Buffalo.
Since this place opened it has been our go-to carry out place on Tuesdays. The nickel and diming of the place rather irritates me. (ranch and celery are extra). Not much extra, but enough to irritate me. The sauces are pretty tasty, but the actual chicken can leave much to be desired. This seems to be the type of  place to avoid on "bargain days" because the food seems of much poorer quality and taste than when the items are at regular menu price. This place was never all that great to begin with but, unfortunately it seems to get worse and worse, this is especially true on Tuesdays aka .40 wing days. The chicken was tough and rubbery. It seems to be tough most of the time. I'm not sure if this is due to overcooking or poor quality chicken. My guess would be the latter. we have placed them on our DO NOT EAT list from here on out. I cannot attest to burgers, fries, or other menu items but the wings on Tuesdays leave much to be desired.
Review Source:I was expecting more. The waitress came out and took our order then kinda disappeared. After we got our food and started eating we kinda wish it disappeared. The wings were just ok not much taste. Also had the jerk chicken which was so so. And the burger did not fair well at all. ICKY BAD was the comment.
Review Source:Greasy goodness. Â I like this location because the bar area is huge. Â Wing Tuesday or Boneless Wing Thursday are the days for deals. Â Make sure to also ask what the drink specials are for the day...last visit $3 long islands and $2.50 jack & coke - sweet! Â I have always had good service. Â I'd give the joint 3 1/2 stars if I could (and this relates to the deal, not the place itself) - the wings aren't really the bomb, just good, and their big ass tv went on the fritz Game 6 of the NBA finals.
Review Source:I did not eat during my visit to this BWW so my review is strictly on service in the bar area.
Shortly upon sitting, the waitress was by taking our order and when we had more join our table, she quickly got their order too. Â The rest of the evening, I don't remember seeing her much but I know that our table was always content with the beers and food they had. Â No complaints came about until the end of the evening when we attempted to settle our check. Â
Granted, we gave her a gift card, credit card and cash to cover the bill for six people. Â Because of this, we had written down how to split up the bill. Â However, when she came back, she had mixed it all up and it took her 20 minutes to correct. Â By then, we were really anxious to leave.
Usually their wings are a little dry, but still good. Oddly enough, the last time we were here for 50c wing night, they were really tender. Which lead to us eating our entire order, instead of stopping halfway through and taking the rest home.
Their ultimate nachos are really good. I've tried a few of their wraps, and they are OK. Stick to the wings. Also the service is hit or miss, but what else can you expect from a chain wing joint?
I brought a friend for the .40c wings. O.K. what the hell are you suppose to expect for couch raddle? I should have drank more first I guess. But I also had the chedder bacon burger and that was perty dang crappy, Pa. The bun was falling apart as I was eating it. My friend had the Jerk chicken and he liked it. But same bun problem? I would have to say that this place is was over priced for what you get. I should say what you don't get. No plates? Everything came on paper boats. We were not offered fries or O-rings. The napkins were machine shop toilet wear. They couldn't even afford a bottle of Heinz. They had their own brew. My mistake for thinking I could get some good bar food here. Would I go back. No!
