Butch McGuire's Tavern & Grill

It's just...why? Why go to a super touristy, super expensive, not very fun bar for not great beer? I guess if you're 21 and want to go drinking in the city and those are LITERALLY the ONLY two stipulations then ok. I get it.

But I'm not 21 or in college anymore. When I go drinking...I want the best available booze for my hard earned money.

And I ain't gonna find it here.

This place reminds me of a warm nap, totally strange feeling for a bar, but it is so cozy and comfortable, you cant get enough. We came in for brunch yesterday and had a really nice time. I loved that the crowd seemed to be pretty much repeat offenders, families from the neighborhood. We all loved the decorations already set in place for St. Pat's, they were old school and original. Butch McGuires has a great reputation and now it is easy to see why. Will be back for brunch and a big game.

We just had drinks, but I have to bullet point the compliments, and I can be a very analyzing patron...justifiably.
