Not particularly impressed. Â Chicago boasts many places with better - and cheaper - falafel sandwiches (Sultan's Market, for example), and much better hummus (Falafel and Grill, or for the foodies, check out Frontier for their white bean hummus).
All in all, I'm too full to move because I was hoping it would get better. Â Definitely not satisfied.
Outstanding Middle Eastern cuisine. The falafil sandwiches, tebouleh, hommos, and baba ganouj are excellent. The food is fresh and well prepared. This is a small, casual restaurant on Wells Street in Old Town. Parking is extremely limited. In the summer, there are tables outside. The owners are very friendly and take pride in the food they serve. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for good Middle Eastern food at a causal restaurant with reasonable prices.
