Original Tsang

Chef Tsang is nothing short of genius as is the lady who runs the phones. I'm addicted to the Tsang's spicy chicken and BBQ pork fried rice. Eat inside for a very amusing Asian experience.

I ordered delivery for the first time when I was at work from this spot. The one upside is that it was very fast...20 minutes earlier than quoted, in fact. I ordered the chicken pad thai and the chicken teriyaki. They were both supposed to come with egg rolls, but there were no egg rolls included. The chicken teriyaki said it came with fried rice, but it came with steamed white rice. Both dishes were pretty bland and among the worst thai/chinese food I have had. Did I call to complain so they could try to right the mistakes? No. I didn't think it was worth it since I'm not ordering from here again. There are a million better places if you want Thai, with my faves being Noodles in the Pot by DePaul, Thai Classic in Wrigleyville, Yummy Thai on Taylor, and Snail Thai in Hyde Park. Try those instead.

The worst service. They got my order wrong, blamed it on me and then overcharged me saying that if I didn't order over $10 they wouldn't have delivered the food. Ofcourse, I'm told this by the older angry Chinese delivery man at my door after they've already taken my order over the phone 40 minutes earlier. Seriously. Not a joke. I'm not a contentious person but I almost slammed the door in the guys face. Do not tolerate their inconsiderate, lame service for mediocre food. Needless to say the food tasted like crap and I will not be ordering from them again!
