New Zaika Restaurant

This is a great restaurant but likely not for everybody.  This seems to be a bit of a cabbie haunt in a part of the city that is a bit faded and industrial.  The food is excellent and the owner/staff are very friendly.  Lincoln Park South needs more places like this.

Finally - a west coast style paki curry joint opens in Chicago to relieve us of the dullness of downtown indian food. This is a Dhaba style restaurant, meaning you get what they made fresh that day. Handi chicken, biryani and goat curry are good. I've made this my regular paki take out joint.
