In summery: 1. if you are not Arab or Pakistani you will get ripped off if you eat here. 2. This store most likely evades taxes and should be reported to the IRS. 3. Other than the naan, the food is ok at best and the place is really dirty.
I have been 3 times to this place, mainly because its near my house. First thing you will notice is that there is no menu nor any prices. Second, most people dont speak english. I order the same dish all 3 times with the same sides. The first time i ordered a plate, after finishing the meal  the guy told me that it's gonna be 10 dollars. I saw that some of the other customers paid less than that. The second time i was smart enough to ask the prices first and was told that its 7 dollars. when i finished the meal, they said that its 10.  Luckily the guy who told me 7 was still in the store. The third time i went, i again asked for prices in advance and was told its 7. This time after finishing the meal, the same guy told me that its 8. When i asked why, he said that they charge a dollar for the togo box. I told him to f himself and offered the box back to him.
If you will notice, no prices listed anywhere in the store, no taxes calculated and no recites are ever given. Its all  cash business. It is obvious that these guys are evading taxes and i for one am planning to report them.
The store itself and the utensils don't look sanitary either.
This restaurant falls into the category of "that neighborhood ethnic place where only people of that ethnicity go and you who are not in that ethnicity really want to go and for it to be awesome."
But here's the thing about these restaurants- you always stand the chance of getting hosed- like really ripped off- in these types of places. Â With no menu, no prices, etc there is a chance that you could end up paying $10 for raw onions and some dry chicken.
I am sad to report that I was *that* person who paid $10 for raw onions and some dry chicken. Â Sure there was some other vegetables on the plate... but let's be honest, I got hosed. Â
This is incredibly dissapointing because, well, first, because I beleive in the goodness of humans and I was clearly taken advantage of, and second, because i so so wanted this place to be good! Â I love this kind of food and wanted to be my awesome-only i know about it-just around the corner-place.
Sadly, I will not be returning. Â Even though the guy taking my 'order' ensured me that there'd be a menu next... I don't think this is going to happen. Â
Dissapointment on both a taste and emotional level.
Great lunch spot!
I work right down the sidewalk from this establishment, and eat there a couple of times a month.
The Business Lunch Special is perfect!
It comes with two types of meat, awesome rice, great hummus and a small salad.
I would recommend  ordering some pita's to make a nice little pita with all the goodies inside.
If ordering take out, be aware that it does take about 15 minutes, so calling ahead is a plus.
I also recommend calling in your lunch earlier in the day so you can get more of a helping of meat.
My only gripe is that the portions seem inconsistent.
Some days you get more meat, some days you get more rice.
Overall, I will be returning.
The convenience and tastiness does it for me.
