So I clearly remember writing a review of this place.  However, it has been removed.  With all the Italian choices in Chicago, I really don't see why one would choose to come here.  Go to Picollo Sogno...do not turn back.  Even Caro Mio is a better choice.  We had the seafood salad=rubbery calamari.  Meatballs= chewy & bland.  We had high hopes for this place, but it was very disappointing. Great location though, but a tourist trap due to it's location. Nearby Italian, try Balena

Unexpectedly dined here on a Friday night after my first choice nearby had an hour and a half wait. Got a table right away around 8:15pm Friday.

The food was good and a bit heavier than I normally eat but I was in the mood for it! The service was great... Definitely has the Italian hospitality atmosphere. I did find the decor a bit out of date and do feel that a facelift could do this place wonders!

I live in the neighborhood. Pasta is solid, special entrees (Salmon, etc) are very good. The back patio is fantastic in the summer. Pizza is decent. Prices are right on the mark.
