Came here after seeing Adam from Man vs Food do a show here. I think my expectations were very high and thats never good.
Ordered the beef sandwich with sweet peppers and a side of fries. The taste was good and I loved that it was dipped which gave it more flavor and made it very juicy however I felt like it was missing something..... maybe cheese?
We were told by a Chicago native that we had to try the roast beef sandwich at Al's. Unfortunately, Al disappoints. One side of the bread becomes soggy after the sauce is poured on and the beef is flavorless without the addition of the spicy peppers.
In short: not worth the walk, thankful that I ordered the small.
