Was with out a doubt one of the best barbecue ribs I ever had. Served with steak fries that were amazing and cole slaw that was very good.( I am never sure if I should order cole slaw because so many times it's not so good.) This is a real treat. The steak fries have a gentle crisp on the outside and a very tender inside, Just terrific! The pork ribs were just the right balance of smoke and  barbecue sauce. My wife had "The Stacker" the best barbecue  sandwich she has tasted. It is mountain sized, with a generous portion of tender meat. I can't wait to take my daughter and try out the breakfast.

    Okay, here's the deal.
I could go on and on like some reviewers detailing all sorts of irrelevant information about themselves, their friends, family, motivation, and other literary stuff and not get to the food review until six paragraphs later.
    But, I won't.
Suffice it to say I had intentions on stopping here for two years and never managed to do it until today.
    Here is what I found.
Neighborhood location and atmosphere which in most cases would indicate a potential find for any foodie.
Unfortunately the food itself did not live up to my expectations.
First: The Pork Chop was excellent. Flavorful, juicy and done to perfection. A little salty, but that is what brings out the flavor.
Second: The Beans. I have no idea why I liked them. At first I wasn't sure. But the more I ate the more I decided there was something there that kept bringing me back. I even sopped up the gravy with my toast. That says something.
Third: The Coleslaw. Crisp enough but way too much apple juice flavor. I left most of it.
Fourth: The Chicken. I ordered dark meat hoping to gain more juice and flavor than white meat often offers. Not so much. The Chicken was dry and I had to douse it with BBQ sauce that was provided on the table.
Fifth: The ribs. They told me the ribs had cooked for 4 hours. I believe them. However, the ribs tasted more like what I might have delivered off my backyard grill before I learned what good BBQ was all about.
They were dry, crisp and burnt on the outside. Did not fall off the bone and no amount of BBQ sauce could save them.
I tried two and left the rest.
I wanted Cap's to be a find. What I did find was a BBQ place that had the trappings of good Q but failed to deliver where it counted. On the food.
I would go back just for the Pork Chop. Anything else, I would leave alone.

I've only been here once, and have tried bbq pork and beef, but neither were very great.  A bit overcooked.  Maybe I expected more based on reviews, but wasn't very impressed at all.  2 stars seems a little harsh, but "meh. I've experienced better", definitely says it.
