I don't understand this place. Â They held a special free dinner for social media people. Â I came down with a virus and thought it better to stay home than attend the event. Â They charges for $25 for cancelling a free event. Â
I just bought a Big Green Egg and was looking forward to taking some of the cooking classes. Â That will not be happening now. Â I think I might just go to the dinner to save the $25 and try not to cough and sneeze on anyone. Â Great way to run a business. Â If I get anyone sick you can blame the restaurant. Â Sorry in advance.
Just visited the 'Green Egg' for a sommeliers dinner. Â They hype is true - this place is fantastic! Â The environment is so friendly and everyone looks happy to be working there. Â I love the touch of the tv screens so you can see the chefs working on the Eggs from your table. Â The food was unbelievable and the wines and guest sommelier were great too. Â I thought I hated grits until I had some served with shrimp - they were delicious. Â I will be back to try their weekend 'box lunches'. Â I also joined their wine club and will of course return for dinner soon.

and all of the goodness it brings.
We've been to Chef JJ's for a class. It was super fun. Â Hands-on, tons of food, good company, easy to follow instruction.
We've also been to EggFest (and as a results purchased a Big Green Egg aka BGE). If you don't know what a BGE is, google it NOW. Â It's a fine piece of work -- a charcoal grill that can cook meat low and slow, like a true BBQ place. Â It can also get super hot, which makes it perfect for grilling pizzas, too!
So...back to EggFest:
It's an outdoor festival where everyone is cooking food on an egg! Â Everythign from salsas, to pizza, to desserts, to veggies, to meat. Â There was so much food we couldn't enjoy it all. Â But it was all so very scrumptious.
Chef JJ's is also a retail store for everything you've ever wanted egg-related. Â
Chef JJ, Cheff Jenna and the rest of crew are down to earth, fun loving folks. Â We really enjoy this place and hope to make it to several more classes/dinners/events there.
