Went here the other night with pretty low expectations. Waiting to be seated they seemed pretty understaffed and it was pretty slow in there to begin with, so we were already off to a pretty slow start. Â We ordered basil chicken fried rice, Kung Pow chicken, and Rama noodle. Was very surprised with the quality and freshness of the food. Will defiantly be back, and this may become one of my go too's in the future.
Review Source:Go during lunch for the specials with a http://Restaurant.com certificate, and you'll walk away with leftovers and cash to spare. The highlight was definitely the bill. As for the quality of the meal itself, it was not a standout but did at least satisfy my hunger.
We had originally wanted to order smoothies/bubble tea but they were all of out of the fun drinks. So my two friends and I split the Noodle Salad as an appetizer. Then we each got the lunch combo special for $8.95: This includes a cup of the Soup of the Day (vegetable for today); your choice of egg rolls, pot stickers or crab rangoons (I got pot stickers); a side of white rice; and a protein in a lunch portion of an entree (I chose beef with Stir-fried Broccoli).
Our soup came out first - lots of veggies but an almost flavorless broth made it pretty forgettable.
The cucumber, sprouts, carrots, basil and lettuce were all very fresh in the salad, and separated out accordingly which was convenient for more selective eaters in the group. However, the chicken was dry and tough, and the peanut dressing looked and tasted lackluster - a bunch of chopped nuts in oil.
As we had just started to serve ourselves the salad, our entrees and sides came out.
I enjoyed the potstickers because they were crispy, not greasy, from frying. Unfortunately, the beef was kind of tough and the sauce was very watery. And again, at least the veggies were fresh, maintaining color and bite through cooking.
I would not come here expecting something spectacular in the food or the ambiance, but, in the end, it was a pretty typical Asian meal. We had hospitable and quick service at an affordable price.
I think I may need to give this place another try at some point, but not anytime soon. Not that it's not good, it's just one of those places that wasn't great. Therefore, I'm borderlining between 3 to 4 stars. Yelp doesn't have a .5 point system to please read my review with this in mind. Total score: 3.5 stars.
Service-wise and attention from the staff: very good! I would say 4.5 stars on this one. Our waitress came back often to check on us and refill our water so many times. I was thirsty that night and drank about 4 glasses of water! Don't worry, we made sure at the end of the night to give her a generous tip. On top of that the manager lady (I think, unless she is just a very, very, very friendly passerby) kept coming over to our table, maybe 3 times total to ask if we are doing alright. She also asked the tables next to us too, so I know that it wasn't because she recognized our famous* faces as Yelp Elites (hah!)
Food-wise is where I have to take it down a notch and give 3.5 to 4 stars. As I said, I think I do need to come back here another time, try some other dishes and write an update to see how I feel. Maybe it's because Thai food is one of my favorite foods so I'm a bit more of critic here. To be honest, it's really hard for most Thai place to get a perfect score from me. I think this place comes close to being "I'm a fan" but isn't quite there as far as their dishes (which is where the weight of my score is.)
I had gotten the Thai Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. My 2 other girlfriends got the Pad Thai and Pad See Ewe, all popular dishes. We also got appetizer of egg rolls (called spring roll for some reason). Nothing stood out as being too special with the appetizers. Overall, with the entrees, they were all... kind of quite bland., like 'meh if you know what I mean. Especially if you're a fan of the noodle dishes, I think you will be disappointed. They really could have used a bit more salt and sugar. Oh, but maybe this is good and healthy so who am I to say? Or you could go home and re-cook the dishes to your liking. Haha.
Anyways, I had enough leftovers of my fried rice to feed me for 2 more lunch days at work. Though, when I took it home, I realized that I didn't really see much chicken in my chicken fried rice at all! It was mostly rice. *pouts*
So while I think their protein are a bit skimpy here, their portions are big and their ingredients are fresh! I wouldn't discourage you from trying this place, it's not bad! It's just not quite the authentic Thai I was looking for to satisfy my cravings. I would come back for another round later and maybe it can get me to change my mind.
The chicken teryaki is the best we've ever had and the soups are wonderful too. We tried a new dish called Chicken Rama and it was SO GREAT. A nice creamy sauce mix of fresh chicken, spice, peanut butter, and lime on top of freshmade wide noodles. Sounds like it could have been a miss but it was amazingly good! Â Also had their potstickers and crab rangoons and was again impressed with how fresh everything tasted. Honestly, we have always had a perfect experience every time we have dined here. Lunches here are quick, delicious, and are a good price too!
This place is definitely on people's radar as they were doing a brisk business in carryout and in-room dining for a Thursday night. My only wish is that they had the day's specials on a printout of some sort. Only as we were leaving did we see bilobi bbq on their specials bulletin board at the front area. We would have liked to have ordered that if we had seen it earlier.
If you are heading here for the first time, set your GPS to Chalkboard teacher store. Chopsticks is right next door. This place is a little bit hidden, but WOW, you won't be disappointed.
Clean restaurant, attentive staff, easy parking, and top notch food! A+++ all the way!
This place is awesome. Best Thai food in the area as far as I'm concerned. I've been there a few times and I'll give a run down of some of my favorite dishes. You pretty much can't go wrong with the crab rangoon appetizer w/pineapple sauce . As far as main dishes the Pad See Ew is my favorite. The wide rice noodles are perfect. I also recommend the pineapple fried rice, the red curry, and the sweet and sour chicken. As for dessert, I've tried the mango sticky rice and taro custard sticky rice. Far and away the taro dessert was my favorite. The sticky rice has just the right amount of sweetness and the taro custard is like a bread pudding. Yum. Give this place a try if you get a chance!
Review Source:this place is absolutely amazing... where to begin? first, the place is casual, but very clean and spacious. our party consisted of 3 moms and 3 noisy babies, and the owner was very kind and accomodating. there is much to choose from on the menu, and you don't want to skip the chive dumplings. our food arrived prompt and flavorful. this was my first time here and i will definitely be going back. this is truly a hidden gem, don't pass it up! one thing to note if you are traveling with a baby. - there is no changing table in the bathroom.
Review Source:Nope, sorry, not impressed. Â Even though I'm not well-rounded in Thai dining, I know what I like, what I don't, and what my expectations are.
The crab rangoons were good, and the pineapple sauce was a perfect complement. Â The mango smoothie was definitely made with real fruit, but it wasn't very sweet at all. Â They also do not have tapioca in their smoothies, even though the picture clearly showed little black floating balls in the smoothies.
The drunken noodles were disappointing. Â The noodles, bean sprouts and basil were the standout ingredients in this dish. Â But there wasn't any spice or heat at all. Â That's odd, considering the little red pepper next to the dish on the menu indicating it was spicy. Â It was okay, but it didn't meet my expectations. Â For $10, I got a dish that I could've made better at home.
On a Saturday night, they were somewhat busy, but there was no wait for a table. Â When I walked in, I noticed a whiteboard with several specials scribbled down. Â Pumpkin curry something? Â Too bad the specials weren't on a printed sheet of paper, because I totally forgot about them once seated. Â Our waiter was pleasant also.
This is bare bones decor, and I like the casual/dive-y vibe here. Â It's a small space, with tile floors, about 12-15 tables and a mirror along an entire wall. Â There was music playing, I recall hearing a Rhianna and Maroon 5 song. Â Yup, there's some Top 40 pop radio pumpin' in there. Â I have to hear this junk in my car every morning, and the mood of this place is a little more college coffeehouse station anyway.
For $36 (pre-tip included: Â appetizer, smoothie, 2 entrees), I feel like it should've been about $10 less.
I might go back, but I'll remember to put a major emphasis on "MAKE IT SPICY!" Â Meanwhile I'll keep my eyes open for a better Thai restaurant in my area.
I tried the drunken noodles with tofu yesterday for lunch. Â It was packed with flavor and had the perfect ratio of wide noodles to veggies and I really enjoyed it. Â
The lunch plates are an outstanding value. Â For $8.95, I had a cup of soup, 2 veggie eggrolls, and a generous serving of drunken noodles. Â I am impressed.
The food quality is good here, but pricey for the portion sizes. Â We tried chicken pad see ewe ($10), a spicy seafood mix ($17 and worst value of the three), and a duck pineapple curry ($12). Â It wasn't very busy on a weekday nite (four couples), and a bit chilly in the dining room. Â There's also no liquor served. Â Service was decent by the lone guy handling the dining room. Â I hope they do well, but not sure we'll be back.
Review Source:My new favorite Thai restaurant. Courteous service and an extensive menu make this a place I'll be going to a lot more. The price is that of any other Thai place, but the food is better than most. I was with a friend from Thailand who said this is the most authentic around, so if the menu says spicy, prepare yourself. Not overly spicy, but not the Americanized stuff that you maybe used to.
Review Source:Ohhhh, Chopsticks. Â You are my new best friend.
First off, I'm not familiar with the Naperville/Aurora area so finding the restaurant was a bit of a problem. Â We used the GPS and it had us turn into a shopping center way off target. Â We ended up having to call the restaurant to steer is in the right direction. Â We weren't too far off though. Â But just as a tip, if you're coming from I-88 it's a 4-5 minute drive on Rt 59 and it's located on a strip mall just past Ogden. Â
I feel kind of bad for this little gem because it's tucked away in the corner of a half dead shopping strip so there isn't much traffic coming their way. Â It's kind of hard to just stumble upon it unless you're making a trip to Hobby Lobby or Sports Authority. Â Plus, it's so dinky looking that it's easy to pass it up... but don't!
The interior is very casual. Â The decoration is minimal, which I like. Â I don't like it when restaurants get over ambitious with the decorations that it ends up looking gaudy. Â The owner is a very nice man and prompt when serving us. Â One thing that kind of threw the ambiance off was the music. Â I think they were using a Top 20 Hits XM Radio station. Â Felt kind of weird to be eating authentic Thai Food while "Starships" by Nicki Minaj was playing in the background...
Anyway, onto the food. Â Per usual, I ordered Thai Iced Tea for a drink. Â It came in a very pretty, tall glass with tea on the bottom and cream on top. Â I'm partial to receiving Thai Iced Tea in that way because it looks prettier and seeing the marbling effect when you mix the milk into the tea is a lot of fun. Â But that's just me. Â
We ordered the Spring Rolls and Chicken Curry Puffs as appetizers. Â The spring rolls were spring rolls... not sure what to tell you. Â They're pretty standard. Â The veggies inside were fresh and the roll itself was crispy and buttery. Â The Chicken Curry Puffs were also very good; savory and sweet. Â If you're familiar with Indian food, they're the equivalent of Samosas. Â I ordered the Tom Yum soup in a cup and it was absolutely delicious. Â Next time I'm definitely going for that except in a bowl. Â Then I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken and that was really good too. Â You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients they can. Â It was a bit on the oily side though.
For dessert we had the Mango with Sticky Rice and the Thai Custard with Sticky Rice. Â The Mango with Sticky rice was so simple yet so delicious. Â It's just a slice of a Manila (or Champagne) Mango with a light syrup on top and sweet sticky rice on the side. Â It's delicious. Â I don't know why I haven't thought of that before. Â The Thai Custard was pretty good too. Â It's just after a while it started to taste like Salted Duck Egg...
The total for our meal was around $61. Â Not bad at all for 3 people. Â And we ordered A LOT of food: Â 2 appetizers, a cup of soup, 3 main dishes, and 2 desserts... That's a deal in my book.
My wife and me ate here for our anniversary. Food was fantastic. One of the best pad Thai I have ever had. The Tom kha soup was a little heavy on the lemon grass but still delish, and could have used a little more coconut. Service was great. I would say it is the second best Thai place I have been to.
Review Source:The atmosphere needs improvement. The music needs improvement. The food was ok but not worth the price we spent. It was my husband and I and my 6 year old and we spent over 50 bucks. NOT worth it. The service was nice and speedy, the place seemed clean but I can see the kitchen from where I was sitting and I don't enjoy seeing pots and pans as I am eating. Considering it was ok I just don't think I will be eating here again.
Review Source:I have to agree with the other posters here, great clean casual restuarant. The owner is a delight, such a nice man and a great server too, very gracious. The food is as good as it gets for a casual Thai restaurant. I've been here 3 times in the last couple of months and it will be a regular stop for me. Check it out you'll like it.
Review Source:I've had an extremely hard time finding good Thai food in the area. Since I no longer work in Schaumburg, I have been seriously deprived of good Thai food. I mean, it had gotten really bad for me. I remember being very sad and almost tearful after eating at other places. I thought I was going to have to give up my love or either drive to Schaumburg or Chicago on a weekly basis to feed my need.
Then one bright sunny day I came upon this place on yelp and thought there might be a glimmer of hope. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who took my order. I had the basil fried rice w/ ground chicken and pad thai w/ chicken. Both were super delish and definitely warranted more visits. Now when I visit, that nice gentleman remembers me and greets me with a smile.
If you are like me and need Thai food to live, this place won't disappoint.
My favorite Thai food in the area. They have amazing Tom Yum soup that will be my go-to food when cold and flu season rolls in.
Noodle dishes are splendid. I am stuck on the chicken pad see-ew, and can't get off it. The veggies always taste really fresh, the sauce is delicious and their noodles are the perfect thick noodle consistency.
The gentleman who runs it is one of the sweetest people in America, and even if their food weren't good, I'd go just to support him.
So first off, you should know that this is the reincarnation of the now closed Thai Lotus. Â The owner of the Thai Lotus tried to sell it and couldn't. Â In his own words, "I finally gave it to a friend of mine and have stayed on to help out." Â I went to the Thai Lotus for over 15 years. Â It was never the best Thai in the world, but was always a solid B+ performer.
Today's Chopsticks is now focused more on Lunch I think.
The decor has gone from a more elegant cloth tablecloth Thai restaurant to a very casual feel with hard surfaces everywhere. Â Not good IMHO.
The menu is largely unchanged but has a few new items. Â Mango chicken, etc.
The drink menu now seems to emphasive fruit smoothies, and yes, soft drinks are served in cans. Â No free refills? Â I forgot to even ask if they still have a liquor license.
As for the food, I tried my old standby Green Chicken Curry. Â I was disappointed that the chicken was not cubed, but seemed to have been thinly sliced. Â The result was overcooked chicken. Â This entree used to come with copious amounts of eggplant and bell peppers. Â Now it had exactly 2 tiny pieces of eggplant, a few more peppers, and a whole lot of barel cooked carrots that belonged in a salad. Â The curry itself lacked the proper amount of lime and was missing several other notes that used to make it a standout.
Other entrees sampled by my party were similar misses compared to the old place.
The old owner is still a great host, but I probably won't be back anywhere near as often as before.. Â Oh well.
Simply excellent. Tom yum soup (not on lunch menu but available), green curry extra spicy, both with chicken. Simply amazing favors, perfect for me! Service fantastic, casual but nice decor. In the ass-end of a strip mall. They should raise their prices.
What a wonderful Thai lunch! I'll be back.
I visited a few months ago, right when they first opened. The experience was pleasant. Food came in a timely manner, It was a comfortable atmosphere. I've eaten at most of the other Thai restaurant's in the area. I used to be a huge supporter of lemongrass, Last time I went there. Hugely disappointed. In fact when I was leaving Chopsticks, There was a couple who asked me how my food was, Saying that they always ate at lemongrass. I used to say that was me too, Â But chopsticks, by far is now my favorite. It's hard to find restaurant's that actually use real seafood. They're thai flavors are very vibrate in the dishes I have tried there. It's worth going for. And a heads up for anyone trying to eat out and save a few, there's usually coupons you can find for here.
Review Source:Kind of a regular Thai place. Nothing exceptional, but certainly not bad either. We started with some various appetizers. Shu mai, spring rolls...and some kind of curried dumplings that reminded me of slightly sweet vegetable pakora. The spring rolls were good - normal, but good. Shu mai was a little chewy? As if the pork inside hadn't been ground in to oblivion, but was a little coarser texture. Perhaps even "real meat" they had ground. We also had a cucumber salad, which was drenched in very sweet dressing...could have used a lot less sugar and a lot more vinegar. Needed some tangy to balance that sweetness.
And outside of that, my panang curry was as usual. Nice big helping, a little on the sweet side, but good, with a lot of chicken and veggies. I would definitely get this again, but then, I'm kind of a nut for panang curry.
Service was pretty quick, prices are reasonable. If I needed a quick Thai hit, I would come back here. But honestly, there's probably other stuff around too.
I was disappointed they were out of the cantelope smoothie but the mango smoothie was a good
I was disappointed they were out of the cantelope smoothie but the mango smoothie was a good alternative. Â The pad thai was flavorful with just the right hint of peanuts. Â The noodles didn't fall apart in my mouth before I had a chance to chew it. Â The red curry was a little bit watery but still flavorful. Â Eggroll was crispy and so was the crab ragoon but it did not have enough filling.
Best Thai Restaurant in Chicago Land. Every dish at this restaurant cook to perfection (Real Authentic Thai Taste). The price of some dishes are really pricey but for what you get in taste, worth every dollars. The restaurant have been open less than a year, I've noticed they have change their menu couple of times already with new items on the menu. This surely shows that the owner and the chef are really care about their product and their costumers. New items equal new excitement for the restaurant. Not only the food that are great, the service at the restaurant is also two thumps up. The waiter and waitress dressed very professional. That just shows how much their staff respect the restaurant and their customers. But don't hold on to my every words, get into your car and be the judge for yourself.
Enjoy and Happy Eating.
Can't I just get, like, a BIG salad? You know, like a regular salad, but bigger. No, not 3 separate side salads - I just want one big salad, in one of your big bowls. Â
I kind of felt like Elaine Benes here. But instead of salad, insert soup. Â
I went to this restaurant a few years back when it was Thai Lotus and wasn't really a fan. It wasn't straight Thai food, for of a Thai/Chinese fusion and it really just wasn't my taste. Now back as Chopsticks, with a whole new interior and different menu, I was ready to give this reincarnated resto another try.
Shining Star: Tom Yum Soup
The mushrooms were fresh, lemongrass was potent, and flavor was right on point. I ordered a bowl of the Tom Yum soup and the basil leaves fried rice and the man working brought me a cup instead of a bowl, probably assuming he was doing me a favor and thinking that I wasn't being a good judge of the portion size, but little did he know, I am a bottomless pit when it comes to good Thai food and the amount of food one would portion out for an entire army for a week could easily be one delicious day's worth of food for just me. I was slightly flattered by his assuming I couldn't handle all that food. Made me feel dainty or sumfin. Next time, 'll make sure I get the bowl. *Hopefully* a giant one.
I was skeptical about my entree as I never get the fried rice version of spicy basil leaves when I go for Thai, but they only offer it as the labeled 'fried rice' version here, so I went with it. I pleasantly surprised as my rice arrived just plain white and un-fried- I'm thinking maybe something was lost in translation and they didn't have the right word for how the dish was cooked (sauteed), or at least how the rice was cooked. The portion size here was MUCH smaller than at any other Thai restaurants I've eaten. At first eh food looks like heaps, but once you stick your fork in and realize just how shallow the plate is, it's a bit of a bummer. Also, the veggies and chili sauce were much oilier than at other places, almost bordering the former Chinese/Thai style of it's
predecessor restaurant that I did not favor, but I know some folks like that heavy flavor better (my brother), so I can't fault them for that. To each his own.
I would come back for the friendly service and maybe multiple orders of the Tom Yum soup... in bowls, por favor.
Tasty little crab rangoons and dipping sauce.
Kung pai chicken! Â Tender meat, a light flavorful sauce. Â Wish it came with mushrooms like it said on the menu. Â
I would come back and try a noodle dish. Â
Almost passed this place when driving on 59 it's not easy to see from the road, it's right pass Ogden ave and in the same strip mall as hobby lobby.
Pluses:
This place has a nice serene feel inside.
Our waiter was very attentive and kind.
The food was delicious.
Minus:
The restaurant is tucked away in a half-empty strip mall "behind" the Sports Authority which means it probably gets overlooked by many people who have no idea it exists.
Our meal:
We were brought complimentary bowls of a spicy hot and sour soup which was very good. Afterward we enjoyed the thai egg rolls which were free with the Yelp check-in offer. By the time the food came, we were almost full! My husband ordered the Pad Thai and I got the Pad Se Ew. Both were very yummy and are waiting in the refrigerator to be finished at dinner time. We scarfed down the awesome Crab Rangoon with pineapple sauce, however! We also shared an order of Basil Fried Rice. It was a bit too spicy for my taste, but has a great flavor. I wish we had ordered the regular fried rice instead, however.
Conclusion:
I can see why everyone likes this place. If we lived closer we'd probably frequent it, but we have a nice Thai place closer to us.
Aside:
What's with Thai restaurants and lime green colored walls? It seems every Thai place I've been to paints at least one wall lime green.

I am loving this hidden jewel. This place is amazing and delicious. I went there yesterday for lunch and it was only my second time going and I was very surprised that the waiter actually rememebered us and actually remembered what we ordered. Talk about good customer service. The food is amazing and fresh, although I don't recall what I had this time but last time I had the basil chicken and it was great. I also had the spring rolls and the some kind of crispy shrimp appetizers..ugh this place deserves more credit and business then what it is getting...but I guess that's good for me..no lines or wait time.
Review Source:I liked it. Â I am a bit biased and partial to the old Thai Lotus that this restaurant replaced, so I boycotted it for 2 years...until I saw reviews that the old owner is still at this location. Â He was our server. Â
We were the only customers when we first arrived, but I wasn't concerned due to all the positive reviews I read on yelp. Â First things first, I checked with Chad on all my old favorites: Â tom kah soup, spicy basil noodles and garlic beef. Â The tom kah soup was the same, there was a similar version of the spicy basil noodles; however, there wasn't really a comparable garlic beef dish. Â My husband opted for the peppered beef instead which didn't even come close...the sauce was a bit bland and lacking. Â On the flip side, the spicy basil noodles was a home run...an upgrade to the previous dish if you like spicy...it is make-your-nose-drip hot. Â My brother ordered something new...duck with honey glaze and fried rice. Â He couldn't stop raving about it. Â
It did take extremely long for our food to be prepared considering that we were the only customers; however, I chalked it up to the added love they were putting into preparing the food...it was well worth the wait, at least for my dish. Â
Toward the end of our meal, I was surprised to see the mayor and his wife enter for dinner. Â Nice to see that they are supporting the small mom & pop restaurants in their own town rather than the chain restaurants on the Naperville side of 59. Â Sounds like they, too, had not been back there since the change in ownership, but Chad was proud to whisper to me that they were old customers of his. Â I had to whisper back to him that his customers were the mayor and his wife, to which he replied "oh."
The wife and I decided to give Chopsticks a try after reading the reviews here at Yelp. We ordered take out and used the "Yelp Check-In" coupon for a free order of Thai rolls.
We ordered Pad Thai, chicken fried rice and Pad Kee Mao (with thin rice noodles).
Any entree that has a red pepper next to it can come ether mildly hot, medium hot or hot. Â I like spicy food and I usually order the hottest option available and this food delivered.
We all enjoyed our choices and we'll definitely be coming back.
Good food, good prices and very close to home.
Mike G.
This is a little restaurant tucked away in the back of a shopping center. Â The food and the service are EXCELLENT!!! Â I had the pineapple fried rice with tofu and was shocked at how tasty it was. Â Everyone at the table cleaned their plate, which were so incredibly reasonably priced!
Go for the food not the decor.
My friend and I recently went here to check out the hype on this place--reopened supposedly and/or changed owners. In any case, walked in and loved the ambiance...very quiet and serene. Nice for a night out enjoying a quiet thai dinner.
We ordered the crab rangoons (6 small ones) and they were delicious! I got the pad thai and my friend got the pad see yeu. She finished her plate completely and if I wasn't so full, I would have too! That's how good it was.
The owner was so nice and friendly as well and waited on us. I had to take part of my dish home to go and he packed up my food all nice in a to-go container. After we paid for the meal, as I was walking to the car, the owner ran out to meet me in my car--and handed me the to-go container that I had FORGOT and left at my table (by accident) and said "you forgot your takeout!" He smiled and walked back (even despite the fact that it was cold outside). I really appreciated that and thought that was SO NICE!
I would definitely come back here for great food and service!
My wife and I would frequent Thai Lotus, which I think sold or somehow transitioned into Chopsticks recently. Â Either way, the authentic Thai food we came to know and love appears to be offered here as well. Â We stopped in yesterday to pick up carry out. Â I forgot my wallet at home and had no way to pay. Â The person I spoke with was trusting enough to allow me to bring the food with me and call in my credit card number when I got home. Â That was extremely nice and convenient for me. Â The food was great as usual.
Love the Chicken Panang Curry!
I am always in search of the perfect Thai restaurant and I've found it! Â Being half Thai, I was raised eating authentic dishes here and in Thailand and can never seem to find a place that brings me back to those times. Â Until now.
Six of us went to Chopsticks tonight; about half of us were very familiar with Thai food. Â Everyone enjoyed their meals from the appetizers to the main dishes. Â My husband and I started with the Tod Mun, or fish cakes, and they were homemade and excellent. Â Another couple got the chive dumplings and they were great. Â The Pad Thai was plentiful. Â The curry dishes were prepared truly Thai style. Â The Spicy Basil dish had a ton of minced chicken, just like we like it, and it was very flavorful. Â One member of our group got the Tom Yum with fishballs and he really enjoyed it. Â I got the house specialty - the Boat Noodle soup with beef - which I recommend to anyone looking for spicy, rich Thai fare that you can't get other places. Â
Everything was fresh and delicious. Â The owner waited on us and was very nice. Â Chopsticks is the place to go for great Thai food!
