Salad!
Absolutely love...love...LOVE THIS PLACE!
The days I don't pack a lunch to work I am always calling in here for my salads!
Staff is friendly and after I give them my phone number they already know what I want and how I want it ;)
I always get their salads....the one that is my fave aside from chicken Caesar is their garden..sub romaine..add feta!
They tend to load it with veggies the way I like it and know I am a 2 Italians 1 Caesar dressing chic..
Always made fresh...quick so I never have to wait!
Cochiaros keep doing yo thang!
I LOVE COCHIAROS... the pizza is fantastic, my favorite by far. The sauce they put on is a little sweet and the cheese has flavor and always hot and stringy when it arrives. The crust is never too hard to enjoy. We usually get the football size when my family gets together and crave pizza and we end up with a few slices left over. I gave it 5 stars because I just simply love their pizza and in general, most of the things on the menu is also great and fresh. I can't order pizza with out ordering a greek salad, if you love salad and feta cheese- try it! Its about $7 for a large salad that feeds atleast 2. The white chicken plate is also great I can get thru one chicken breat and I get full. Also around $7.the steak sandwich is just ok, its kind of bland and unless you ask for motzerella cheese, its just a boring sandwich. The meatball sandwich is delish and filling! Very good! But the buffulo chicken stips are a 1 out of 5, not impressive, but the chicken wings are great. The cheeseburger is VERY yummy. Anyway, you have to try this place out. If it's your first time and you don't know what to get, you can't go wrong with the pizza, I promise.
Review Source:This place should get at least three stars from me. There is one thing and one thing only that holds me back from doing that, and unfortunately it has nothing to do with the establishment itself, but instead its surroundings- PARKING.
The parking here is absolutely ridiculous. Cochiaro's Pizza shares a minuscule parking lot with a large junk gift shop, a Subway, a J.J. Peppers, and I believe a currency exchange (if I'm not mistaken). The problem starts once the lot is full, because then, people begin to park behind you and block your car in. This leads to two things- frequent parking lot rage (and I've seen it get ugly here) and then there are the people who park far from the cement parking strip to avoid being blocked in. It only makes it harder to navigate the lot. Getting out of a spot (if you can find one) can be treacherous. There are people and cars bouncing around everywhere.
This says good things about Cochiaro's. The food is great. The prices are dirt cheap. I can get a large slice of cheese pizza, an order of fries (that always come out piping hot and fresh), and a liter of Coca Cola for about three dollars. Not like I really need a liter, it's just that the price of a liter here is just slightly more than a can, so...why not? I have tried the buffalo strips here, and they weren't that good. I figured this is mainly a pizza spot, but from I read, they excel in other things, so I've just got to try them some time.
IF I go back, considering the parking situation totally sucks. It's too bad, because the pizza is great and it's very close to the job. But, there are a lot of places to eat lunch in the 'hood, so...yeah.
This place has a pretty extensive menu in addition to pizza after renovating a few years ago.
They sell slices here and also have cheap "football" sized pizzas.
Also if you are a fan of cheap and a fan of cheese fries.. I would recommend the ones served here. Â You get a ridiculous amount of fries and artery clogging cheese on the cheap.
I'm fine seconding what Elisa said about how she likes COCHIARO'S.
They print restaurant flyers which you can find in the neighborhood, containing coupons that give customers an even better deal.
In the neighborhood their stuffed pizza isn't better than most though, it is simply THE best.
If you live in West Logan Square, this place is great for cheap pizza, chicken, ribs, et cetera. They deliver, and the food is actually pretty good!
My boyfriend and I stopped in here one night on our way home and picked up some ribs, a meatball sandwich, and fried mushrooms. The portions were HUGE. The ribs were $7 and came with a ton of fries and coleslaw. The sandwich was under $5 and came with fries. The order of mushrooms was massive, also. We didn't even come close to finishing it.
The sauce on the ribs was slightly spicy and sweet, and the ribs were cooked very well- very tender, not chewy at all. The meatball sandwich and coleslaw were pretty decent, nothing to write home about. The mushrooms were piping hot and really flavorful.
Prices are really reasonable. We recently tried the pizza here and it's pretty good, better than most pizza joints in the neighborhood.
