Outstanding Rodeo. Â They do it every weekend, rain or shine because it's inside and climate controlled. Â Recommend getting there early for the best seats. Â Most of the seats are pretty good, (except for a couple of sections at the end where you are sitting behind some advertizing signs which block the view - dumb idea) I prefer the VIP seats, and at $21 that's not much more than general admission.
Review Source:Rudest people work at this place. Had trade tickets that state excludes holiday events. We tried to go one Saturday (that was not a holiday) and found out it was a special show and was told we couldn't use them. The man at the ticket booth was very rude and so was the man at the door. Â The man at the door made us feel as if we were the stupid ones trying to use the tickets for a special event when it wasn't even stated on the tickets! Â Let me say this special event was also not posted on their website. Â We drove a long way to go to this rodeo to find out that we couldn't use the tickets. Â I hope that my company no longer trades with this venue as they are very rude and inconsiderate people.
Review Source:It is an AWESOME museum! One of the few where i stuck it out through the entire place without feeling lost/ disgruntled/ bored.. Hah! Take that National museums!
Lol.. No, the national museums are awesome too, just too big and boring for me.
Anyways, this place is clean as a whistle, super adorable and has some great exhibits. I totally recommend seeing the 10 minute video of the picture exhibit lady.. it is super awesome!
The place makes me feel proud to be a woman totally, and offered a great piece of cultural history that I feel a lot of other people dont know about.. All those colorful boots and the smashin' buckles.. WAY TO GO WOMEN!
In one week, I went to a Rangers game and a Cowboys game and a rodeo. Â And out of all 3 of my sporting events, I'd have to say the rodeo is still my favorite. Â The night starts out with a girl riding a horse and holding a US Flag as the audience sang Proud to be an American, followed by an invocation and the national anthem. Â Damn, its good to be back in Texas. Â Then the rodeo started. Â They kept the crowd entertained. Â It was great to see the calf roping, mutton chasing and the bull riding. Â I'll admit that it was a little slow and a little cheesy at times but it was still perfect, family-friendly, PETA cringing, God-fearing/loving, America loving fun. Â Definitely worth the price of admission.
Review Source:There isn't enough booze in the world to get me to ride a bull, I'll just grab a beer and watch from the stands instead.
The first indoor rodeo in the United States was held in this building. Since then they continue to hold weekly rodeos where you can see some of the best cowboys in the world compete.
The rodeos are very family friendly. They even have an event where they bring all the kids in the audience to the ring to try and grab a ribbon off the tail of a sheep.
Grab a beer, find a seat, and enjoy some good old fashion American entertainment.
Never been to a rodeo before...very glad this was my first one!
My friends and I had a great time at this rodeo! I came with a fellow Californian and a Texan (she was showing us around). The host (or whatever he's called) was great and entertaining. The main clown was kinda funny. Jokes were a bit cheesy but still got some laughs.
There were multiple events but the best to watch was obviously bull riding! Those guys are bad ass!
It's the worlds first indoor rodeo and with that comes an obvious odor issue...but that's to be expected and you get used to it pretty quick.
Lots of great seats. Great atmosphere. Wonderful experience!
