THIS PLACE DOES NOT HONOR YELP CHECK IN DEAL.

I visited this spot with a colleague while we were in town for an expo. I could see how this would definitely be a fun party spot my 'dining' experience here left a lot to be desired.

We sat down and I pulled up Yelp so I could determine what dishes people were buzzing about. I noticed there was a check in coupon so I presented it to the server. She took the phone over to her manager in order to show them the coupon. Then she came back to tell us they don't honor it...which I thought was very poor form. If I were the manager I would have made an exception in this ONE case and then contacted Yelp. It's $3...seriously???

However, that isn't why I gave them only two stars, although it did seem to set the tone for the rest of our visit. The waitress rarely come around and when she did she was extremely forgetful or just didn't give a damn. I had a hard time figuring out which one it was.

We shared the Philly Cheesesteak Nachos and I had the Filet. Both dishes were decent, actually pretty good for what I would consider more of a bar than a restaurant. It just didn't make up for the overall lackluster experience.

Where to start? Positives, pleasant atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. $3 coronas on a Sunday afternoon.
Negatives. The management gave me a constant battle as I tried make arrangements for my party of 15. Initially, they took the reservation, told me where we would be seated in relation to the band, and said no problem with having separate checks. Great!

A few days before the reservation the phone calls from them started as described below and according to them this was all necessary because they are SOOO busy on Sundays. Hardly anyone there but us, and if you read below, you will know why.

They wanted a $50 payment to make the reservation, they wanted me to tell them how many people were going to order the crab special, and when I balked, they said "sorry but this is strictly enforced", then when I said ok, cancel, they said ok if you PROMISE your people are coming???? I think part of the problem is they are accustomed to the clientele that comes at night for the club, and they must be a bunch of animals, the way we were treated.
More negative, they advertise for Sunday, Live music, none, they said they would seat us in a certain area, did not, they said we could have separate checks, and then tried to take it away when we got there. After another tiff over the separate checks, they said we can have separate checks, but WE HAVE TO GO TO THE BAR TO GET OUR OWN DRINKS! We said fine.

WTF? Do these people really expect to stay open? The food was mediocre, the crab special is cooked the night before and heated up. The french fries were good, but a bit too salty.(already salted). The Margaritas were a horrendous mix with fructose.

Had the management not given me such a hard time, I could have overcome the mediocre food just for the atmosphere. Don't go here if you want more than a beer and to sit at the bar and look at the water. Oh, there is smoking at the bar. DISGUSTING.

I will never return, and I wish there was a way to contact the owner to complain. No one claims ownership, and I sure as hell am not going to call the half baked manager. She was a nightmare and should be fired. Probably the owners wife.

Don't eat here.  It's a club.  Buy booze.  Dance.  But don't waste your time eating here.  I can't say a whole lot to the club experience at this place since we didn't stick around, but it was definitely popular without being crowded, and I bet most people who like clubs would enjoy this place.  That being said, the sound and lighting were pretty lame, but most people don't really care about those things after a few rail drinks.

My parents had a coupon for a fixed price meal for two, and decided to take the entire family here for dinner.  We arrived at 7pm with a reservation.  We waited 10 minutes for them to prep a table for us (they didn't actually keep a table for us).  They brought the apps out with the entrees (even though we specifically asked for the apps before the entrees).  At 9pm, my parents had received one salad from the two 3 course meals they ordered.  Despite telling the waitress we were waiting multiple times, the food never came, and we never got an explanation.  Finally when the place turned into a nightclub and the DJ started bumping his club music directly across from our table, we just demanded our check and asked for the missing food to be taken off our tab.  As we waited for 30+ minutes for our check, my brother and I took his toddler son for a stroll away from the loud DJ, and got chased back out to the deck by a bouncer.  Apparently, the toddler throws off the vibe of the club.  Go figure...  At least they comped a couple of the other meals we ordered.

Food wasn't bad, but definitely not worth the horrible service.  I agree with a previous review that Velveeta has no place on a burger, especially if it's spelled Velvetta.  I had to double check that it wasn't some fancy European cheese I hadn't heard of.  So I ordered a black and blue burger.  They forgot the onions and it was undercooked, but was still tasty.  Also, I was told the crab cakes were pretty good.  We did not order the "Pomme Frites" with wiz.  We did laugh though.

As we were leaving we found out out that they had run out of food.  I understand that stuff happens, but you'd think if you had a table waiting for food you didn't have, you'd go out and ask them if they wanted something else.

The location is very scenic, right next to a park.  I'd love to take over the entire place for an event/concert.  Lots of potential.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have taken my family here had I been planning things.  Instead my parents got suckered into buying a Living Social coupon to a place that doesn't know how to serve food.  The worst part is that my parents still have the coupon, and probably will end up trying to redeem it at another time (earlier in the day).  They are forgiving folks, I guess.  I don't plan to go here again.  Club or restaurant, not my kind of place.
