As far as neighborhood on-the-corner dives go, this place manages to exceed even the most diligent of establishments. The hooch is cheap, and the menu is surprisingly extensive. Even more surprising is the quality of the food itself. The roast beef sandwich is divine, as is the hot sausage with grilled onions and peppers. They also do free hot dogs during Phillies games, which can be viewed on any of their impressive big-screen LCD TV's. The bartenders are friendly and on the ball, and the neighborhood mutants, with exception to their jukebox selection, are harmless. Stop in for a taste and a bite to eat if your in the area. It's a celebration. Enjoy yourself.
