Rose at the BC connector was truly fabulous. Not being a big wine drinker she inquired about what I liked and didn't like about wines. She created a custom "white wine flight" for me and a suggested the "local vines flight" for my partner. She also paired them wonderfully with some snacks off the menu. Â What a great way to spend a couple hours waiting to board.
Review Source:Great idea, but they need more space. Â The wine was great and the service was fine, though I don't like to hear staff discussing other staff within earshot of the bar. Â I got a sandwich here and they were happy to give me one half on a plate and one to go for the plane. Â If they heated it up, the food would be much better, but I understand they have to make good with what they've got.
Review Source:Cold corn tortillas are disgusting. I realize I'm from Texas where even in the Houston airport they put tacos on the griddle before serving, but common sense has to kick in at some point. Everybody knows tortillas have to be heated prior to serving, not served cold, straight from the package.
The serving sizes are puny. Whatever you think your portion size is going to be, think 1/4 the size for an exorbitant price. I forget things are so much more expensive up north. Maybe this place just isn't good with food, but if that's the case, then just don't try serve it in the first place. It's a waste of money!
