I don't eat in hotel Restaurants or bars very often, but I tried this place out and the food was really good and I didn't think it was too badly priced either. I loved the drunken mushroom starter. The staff were also very nice and our drinks never went empty. What more can you ask for.
Review Source:Talk about a miserable experience. Â I find a place to sit, which I'd have to disagree about the place having more than enough TVs since my view was far away and obstructed. Â I wait for about ten minutes to be acknowledged, and finally place an order for two items and a drink. Â The drink comes fairly quickly. Â I then wait about 35 minutes, and am told when I'm ready to give up and leave that my order is coming out soon. Â Ten minutes later one of the two things I ordered arrives (45 minutes for a sandwich that could be constructed in under five) - I'd have asked where the other item (chicken wings) was, but at this point I've had enough and just want to eat something and leave.
The sandwich was good - bar food, not disgusting but nevertheless a $5 sandwich anywhere else that is $12 at an airport hotel restaurant. Â Of course when you wait that long I could have been served a piece of cardboard and possibly have found it tasty. Â After finishing my sandwich, I look around, begging, pleading to be noticed for my bill. Â I eventually decide that I, good honest person I am, will just do my first ever dine n dash ("dash" in this case being wait over 45 minutes after eating for my bill before giving up on getting any service before walking out). Â Well, the waitress finally came back and asked if I was finished, as if it is normal to be left alone for 45 minutes to eat a small sandwich. Â I pay and bid farewell to an awful place. Â Never, ever again. Â I noticed about five waitstaff, which should have been more than adequate for the crowd; however, at any time you'd be lucky to see one out on the floor assisting customers.
The service here was beyond awful. We were seated at a dirty table. The waitresses ignored our table. We had to walk to the bar TWICE to get drink refills. Â
My wife's "vegan" salad had cheese in it. My brother's cheeseburger's was almost raw in the center. My crab cake sandwich was palatable. Â
I know you can't expect much from airport hotel restaurants but this was a terrible experience.
