Two of my favorite things in the world! Â Sushi and Beer!
This is the best place in Louisville to get sushi, bar none, espeically now that Maido is out of the picture. Â They rotate the beers they keep on tap, but always make sure they have a new stout, porter and IPA ready to go. Â Staff is friendly; beer and food is affordable; atmosphere is nice.
Name of the game here is late night hours and decently priced. If you want knock your socks off, go to one of the dozens of boutique sushi places around town. There are even a few on the same street. This place serves edible, tasty sushi, good appetizers and a diverse menu if you have folks in tow who aren't in to the raw stuff.
They don't have fountain beverages so beware of that. Nachos were really good! Happy hour rolls are reasonably priced. Service was on point. It's not the best sushi in Louisville, but it is what it is, a hole in the wall on Bardstown Road with an eclectic wait staff, late night dining options, and affordable menu pricing in a town where it's hard to find edible sushi for less than $60 a couple. Enjoy.
