This is a really awful bar. We came on a Saturday night  at 11:30 and it was crazy. We wanted to go to the rooftop bar and waited in line about 45 minutes to do so. It was my cousins' birthday, so of course we waited.
The rooftop is nice, and maybe this bar is okay on a slower night. The bartenders were very unfriendly. We just stood there for 5 minutes while a bartender just stacked glasses right in front of us, not paying us the time of day. Prices are somewhat reasonable and you do need a $20 minimum for credit/debit.
The bathrooms are disgusting and if you need to pee while you're on the rooftop, you're out of luck. We asked the door-guy if we could go downstairs to pee and be let back up, and he couldn't give us a straight answer, but said probably not. Only one stall was actually working and the other was over-filled with puke, pee and poop. Basically everything that can possibly come out of you. The "working" stall was gross and didn't have TP.
I think I'm getting way too old for Hoboken bars.
Nice hang out bar in Hoboken. Â Nothing spectacular but a good place to just hang around with friends, have some drinks and eat some bar food. Â There are three levels, the rooftop bar is not very big but is great on a nice summer day. Â I ordered the steak sandwich and some fries, my friend got a salad and chicken wings, both meals were good. Â
The second level of the bar has a dart board which can be cool if it doesn't get too crowded. Â I wouldn't mind stopping into The Dubliner again, but I also wouldn't be upset if I didn't.
