Smith and Mills

Weakest spot I visited in all of NYC over 3 days.  Went there to wait for my wife to have dinner, sat at the bar and had a whiskey.  Crowd was all 50+.  The food looked uninspired and the waitstaff seemed unattentive.  I ended up going down the street to the Harrison and had a fabulous dinner.  Everywhere in NYC has 'craft' cocktails these days, I didn't see any reason to go here and I saw lots of reasons not to.  The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star rating is that I didn't have any of the food, just saw it so I can't really comment on the food other than to say it looked pretty boring.

Best tiny bar in NYC. We visit once a year and always make a point of coming here more than once. Don't miss it.

Go. Have the charcuterie plate and don't forget to check out new yorks loveliest restroom :)
