This is a new rooftop in the Soho area at the Mondrian.  Got there a little early around 10:30 on Saturday - in line for 10 minutes to control the elevator by no issues getting in.

The place has absolutely stellar views. The south facing area is more spacious than the north. The indoor lounge is small with white couches giving you a feel of Niki beach in Miami. DJ was awesome.

Place shuts down by 12:30 every night. The don't have a proper bar and drinks are only served by waitresses walking around (made in the back). Even though there were only 3 servers - never had to wait long for a drink.  Crowd was good looking and definitely a new favorite rooftop.

Awesome rooftop bar. Great alternative to the Jimmy, Gansevoort, 230 Fifth, etc., especially if you're looking for more down-to-earth service. I didn't come across any staff with an attitude - they were all very polite and even informed us that they have no dress code (unusual for NYC bars)!!!

The place was obviously a pent-house hotel room-turned rooftop bar and the interior is adorable. The martinis are expensive but VERY well made. Great DJ too.

I dropped a star because of the space...there's not a lot of it and it can feel pretty cramped when the crowds start, especially around the perimeter where the views are. I imagine it's great in the wintertime, as there is plenty of space inside.

5 stars for the amazing ny rooftop view.
3 stars for the small selection of cocktails/beers.
Averaging it out to a 4 star venue!

I made sure to make reservations ahead of time to guarantee us getting in on a Friday night at 9pm.  We were lucky to witness the sunset by the time we were up top.  All the seats and lounge chairs were taken at the time but we lucked out with one corner spot.  There are 2 balconies, one main one with the DJ and bar, the other is smaller and intimate with the view of the empire state.    The staff and bouncers were very friendly and made you welcomed.  They escort you to the elevator and to the venue, making it all exclusive.  The venue was simple but beautiful with its minimalistic white decor and couches. It slightly reminded me of Le Bain with its artificial grass floor on the balconies.  We ordered the martini and spicy margarita, which were delicious but pricy of course.

This was a very relaxing experience that I was glad to discover from waiting in line for cronuts. Great ambiance. Great view. Great company.

Soaked probably is ranked within my top 3 rooftop views of beautiful NYC.
