enjoyed getting drinks here. crowd is more on the fashionable side, in their 20s or even early 30s. drinks were well mixed and also strong.
TIPS
- more of a dive bar, small and neighborhood-y with a very local, cooler, non-touristy crowd, which to me are signs of a good bar
- not necessarily a place you go to mingle, more geared towards groups or casual to intimate conversation
- had this one drink that was orange with a citrus peel in it (have no idea what it was called but it was spicy too - try to get it, i highly recommend it)
- bartender was really friendly from what i remember
- if you ask for water they'll give you an entire jug full of it for you to take, which was really good as people end up here really late at night and are trying to prevent a hangover while simultaneously continuing to drink
Hey so I'm all about atmosphere and this place is pretty cool. I like that you can be apart of the action or cozy up in the cut. The lobster dip in fantastic! I ordered an Aviation, they were out of lavender liqueur, but the bartender did a great job with what he had. Still not better than Ward III's Aviation which is the best I've had just in case you're a fan of them as well. My date had the mojito and it was pretty much a wrap for her after one. She said she couldn't taste the alcohol but she could feel the alcohol so that's an outstanding blend.
This is definitely where the cool kids hang out. I saw a bunch a dudes with limited amounts of game picking up girls so if you actually know what you're doing you will feast well my friends.
I love clothes so I'll state that graphic tank tops, Bermuda shorts, tapered khakis and collared casual dress shirts were pretty much the norm for the guys. Summer dresses and denim cut off shorts with pastel tops for the ladies. Legs Legs Legs when you're in that piece. Don't forget your tattoos
Happy Hunting!
