40 minutes to get a burger. Not a good start. Â I hate being impatient, but when your on anhour lunch break and you are waiting 40 minutes for your eggplant and chick pea burger with a side of sweet potato fries (which was excellent btw), you can become irritable. Â BUT, when you get GOOD FOOD, great service (a complimentary glass of wine), and a pub that represents an upgraded version of old school NY that exclusively sells local beer and wine, supporting its friends, its hard to stay upset. I was very pleased with my lunch order, that I ate at the bar. Â The sweet potato fries, were crispy, sweet and light. Â The eggplant & chick pea burger an a whole grain roll was savory with the addition of the tahini sauce. Â The floor plan is open and spacious and yet homey. Â I recommend! Â I have to believe they had an off day in the kitchen getting the food out on a timely basis.
