Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar

Nice ambience. I ordered poached eggs with shrimp and ham. It was pretty good. and they have a good selection of bourbon.

The service, the selection of wines, small plates and the atmosphere were all excellent.  This is a tiny space, so it gets loud quite easily, even if the place is only half full.

The wine flights offer a great opportunity to try multiple wines, but they will also let you select a full glass from the flight list, if you just want a single glass.  

With the exception of the douche menagerie that was blocking the entrance the entire time I was there, this place was pretty flawless.

This place will go down as one of the best places I visited while in NYC. I wish that I had spent more time here but I will just have to go back. We had closed down one place so we asked for a recommendation and the bartender said try Blue Ribbon. It is a fairly small place but we lucked out and got 5 seats together.

The ambiance is beautiful with its candle light and awesome music. The wine selection is very good. The smells coming from the kitchen were mouth watering but we didn't have food just wine.

This place is really a great place with great people. I highly recommend.
