Flatiron Lounge

This is my home away from home when I am in New York City. I love the ambiance, the drinks, and the service. The crowd on a Friday or Saturday night is very lively and vibrant. My drink of choice here is a Whiskey Sour, it's the best. I can't wait to get back.

Music is too loud, and lighting is too dark. They make good mocktails.

I went here for a friends birthday on a Saturday night with a few of my friends. We showed up a little later in the night and found out that this wasn't one of those late night bars. The birthday girl and her close friends had already had a few too many when we got there. II ordered a couple of the fancy cocktails and paid accordingly. The bartender was very personable and made the drinks with a little more flare than you usual see. The bar itself is rather small, which lends itself to an intimate atmosphere.  I can see the appeal, but I myself am a fan of the more active bars with a little more going on. By the time 1 o'clock hit, we were the only ones left in the bar. Still, I would recommend this place if you're looking for an intimate evening with one or two classy cocktails.
