Little Town

My first time here Saturday night 4 stars for my mixed review ....if you would have asked me based on our initial impression it would have been much lower.... First we waited 20 minutes for our drinks!! Saturday night in July it was not crazy busy....... any yet we waited ( later we found out the server had an off night, i get it, it happens ) But when they Finally come out the food is right behind them ....so much for enjoying a cocktail before your meal..... it made me unhappy......So service on this night was not the best.. Now on to the good and the good was very good !!!! the drink special was delicious a strawberry vodka lemonade with fresh strawberry in it  the other drink was the mojito from the menu both were excellent  then we shared the grilled eggplant caprese that is topped with a basil pesto it was fantastic very fresh and flavorful also we shared the trio tower you get a choice of 3 menu items we went with the RICE BALLS  OMG best rice balls I have ever had !!!! not greasy, perfect really!!! also had the Hackensack sliders Angus beef grilled onion American cheese it comes with 2 we were a party of 3 so I wish we had more (even though portion size was perfect) they also were delicious last was the chicken tenders also very good you can tell they are not frozen.... They were tender and tasty...So food wise excellent! Now my favorite part we asked to see a manager at the end of the meal just to let him know our concerns and what may not bring us back even though we enjoyed the food and he, Kevin went above and beyond to make us happy with a round of drinks and some Zeppoles on the house for the long wait then  he stayed and chatted with us, asked about the whole experience  we even met the chef!!...Hats off to Kevin He  did make 3 new returning customers and we felt like we made  a new new friend !  So thank you again  and see you soon Little Town NJ can't wait to try a full meal the menu items all look interesting don't know what to try first! but this place is spot on!!

I really wanted to like this place, but was terribly disappointed after stopping in for dinner and drinks last night with my boyfriend, my sister, and her boyfriend. As soon as we were seated our waitress came by to take our drink order, but as we didn't have enough time to look at the menu, we asked her to come back in a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later, our waitress finally returned to take our order. Since we didn't know when we'd see her again, we made sure to give her our food order as well.

Another 15 minutes later, we finally received our drinks. My boyfriend and I each ordered cocktails and my sister and her boyfriend each got a beer. I understand that cocktails take some time to make, but 15 minutes? About 10 minutes later, some of our food came out. My boyfriend got the NJ devil wings, while my sister and her boyfriend got the tower with sliders, chicken tenders, and mutz. I can tell you their food was good, which they shared with me because the chicken tenders I ordered never came out!

I flagged down our waitress to ask about my food and she said it would be out shortly. About 10 minutes later, three burnt chicken tenders were delivered to me. I flagged down our waitress again, asked her to take them back, and remove them from the bill. Finally a manager came over, apologized, and asked if I wanted to order anything else. I did not. I was not going to wait even longer for more burnt food.

We received the bill a few minutes later, and the chicken tenders had been properly removed. After paying, we decided to finish our drinks over a couple rounds of skee ball in the back. We had a lot of fun playing skee ball, but decided to meet friends at another bar in town.

I wish we had left right after dinner! The ladies room was barely functional that night - one toilet was overflowing, another was constantly flushing, leaving only one functional toilet. Instead of spending money on a plumber, they spent it on a bathroom attendant! My sister said it best as we left the restaurant last night. "This place is dead to me."

Came to Little Town for the first time last week with a group of my friends.  We really enjoyed everything.  I had one of the specials that our waiter John recommended, he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the drink selections, especially the beer!  John always made sure we had everything we needed and was on top of refilling our drinks!  Everyone enjoyed their entree selections and we will definitely return again.  Thanks for a great time!
