went to Jockstrap Wednesday blindly. did not know what to expect.

this club was extremely cruise-y, if you know what I mean. The friend who came with me took off soon after entering cause he could not handle the scene.

I, on the other hand, had a lot of fun. Met Eric, Eric's bf, Carl and Luis but forgot to get their phone numbers (stupid me).

Overall, I like this place a lot. It's nothing like the club in my area.

Favorite bar in NYC. This reminds me of the New York I loved and wanted to move to all my life. The staff are spectacular and I actually look forward to seeing them each time I visit. But to echo the other positive reviews, when you step in: no pretention. This a down-to-earth bar, but is one of the best in the area.

Three floors, including an awesome rooftop bar that is the place to be in summer, hands down. Different crowds on different nights (younger guys on Wednesdays for jockstrap night, more serious guys on Thursdays for code night, almost an average Chelsea bar on Fridays, then a good mix on Saturdays...plus an awesome beer blast on Sundays that is the perfect end to a weekend in the summer). Good music as the night progresses.

It definitely gets cruisey, but you wouldn't go here if that bothered you. That's all part of the fun.

Love the set up. 3 floors & hot men what more could one ask for? Sundays were the best night unless I just didn't get the late enough.
