Secret Lounge aka Secrets aka Secrets Ultra Lounge is a nice bar. Like most bars & dance clubs nowadays, the clientele changes with each promoter, Deejay and the day of the week. So, do not drop by without doing your research first! I decided to show up for an after work party on a Friday evening. Â Even so, whether the music is Rap, Pop, House, or Disco, the clientele is by and large, Black and Latino men from the inner city as far I can tell. I believe I saw a few Caucasion women there at the bar, So, it was totally only men.
Those who are not into Rap/Hip-Hop would do best to research the DJ who will be spinning and what music they play! If you don't you will be disappointed. The only reason I showed up was because the DJ was playing House, Disco & a some uptempo Soul records. Another plus was the majority of people started dancing not long after I decided to dance. The layout is cute though could be better. The bar should be up front, the dancefloor in the middle and the restrooms in the back. The bar is in the middle and the dancefloor and seating up front. This is alright when there is about 10-15 people there. However, when there is 50+ people there, then it starts to feel too crowded. I would not advise you come here with anymore than 3 other people. The drinks are bit pricey. Restrooms are clean. Same goes for the sinks and mirrors.
