Hudson Yards Cafe

Nice neighborhood feel.  Good tunes on the jukebox and the bartender (Barry, I think?) was great.  Very friendly, joked a lot and made a generally pleasant atmosphere.  We'll definitely go back.

Hudson Yards is like a Cheers on the Hudson!

It's the kind of comfortable neighborhood place that's rapidly disappearing!   Don't be put off  by your first impression of it's physical appearance.  The food is really good.. I love the ribs with a kind of bourbon bbq sauce and the fish and chips!  and surprisingly, the house cabernet is more than acceptable!  

The service couldn't be better. Our waitress, Cat, is welcoming, friendly and prompt!

Definitely a place to keep in mind if you're in the neighborhood....

This place's proximity to Jacob Javits Convention Center is primarily why we came here, although I am glad we did.

We ate from the lunch menu, I enjoyed a porkloin panini on foccacia bread with horseradish. Not too spicy or nasal-drip inducing as some other horseradish sauces. It was excellent!!

Girlfriend had the burger with swiss, medium and it was cooked as ordered!

Service was a little slow, but there was only one waitress and she was friendly and poured us water with no hesitation. Def give it a try!!
