We went here after a neighbor suggested it (and after too many disappointing trips to Lunker's). All of the food on the menu sounded and looked good. We went here with a group of folks and our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. The reason why this place doesn't have more stars was my meal. I ordered the all you can eat fish special and the fish was very low quality. The fish was very thin, over fried, and some parts were just skin with barely any meat. Round 1 kind of turned me off so I didn't really want to ask for more... However, it seems like everyone else had a good meal so I think we will be back to try something different next time. It is also great that they have something vegetarian-friendly on the menu that isn't a cheese quesadilla!!!!
Review Source:The outside of the building has yet to be refurbished. Â It's a nice casual bar atmosphere. Â The menu seemed to branch out a bit from regular bar fare. Â We were pleased with the friendly service. Â It shows they take pride in what they do.
My wife and son said the pizza had very good cheese. Â I had the all you can eat fish. Â I enjoyed it but, the Tatar sauce had a unique taste. Â I cannot describe it but, I grew tired of it quickly.
I saw several visually appealing dishes being brought to other tables. Â We are going to come back. Â Prices are very fair. Â Nice job!!! Â Thank you.
I wasn't quite sure about the suggestion to eat at Fireside as it's a little run-down looking on the outside. I've lived close for many years and always passed this place up.
I've been hearing things about the food there a lot lately so I thought now would be a good time to check it out.
Man, am I glad I did! I don't know what took me so long either! Fireside is fantastic!
The Beers were ice cold, service was on top of things during our visit, but the star of the night was the burgers. Huge 1/2 lb hand pattied burgers wit super fresh toppings. I can't remember the name of my burger, but it came with Ham, a perfectly cooked fried egg, cheese and a sauce that God himself must have made. It was all served on a couple stout slabs of buttery, toasted Texas toast. I opted for the french fries and to be honest I don't remember what they even tasted like because I was so enamored with that burger.
I could easily place this burger in my all time top 3.
I think I'm gonna be a regular here...
Thanks Fireside!
