This Five Guys is conveniently located right on Route 22 and I believe it can be accessed from both Route 22 E and 22 W.
It isn't too different than any other Five Guys location. Tasty food and good quality.
A few things: most Five Guys locations I have been to have super friendly staff. At this one, the staff were not rude or anything, but they did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome as many Five Guys employees do. They offer "little fries." I'm not sure if this is something at only certain locations, or if all locations have this size now and it is just a new thing. In any case, it is a good addition to the menu as the "Regular" sized fries are huge. Â The fries tasted super fresh but did lack salt. Lastly, my burger was kind of falling apart and the mayo on it had an odd consistency (almost as if the bread had been grilled with the mayo on it). The taste was still excellent, but it just wasn't built as well as those I have had at other FG location.
Definitely a nice option to have on Rt 22. Not the best Five Guys I've been to, but I'll take any Five Guys over most of their competition.
Im not really a big fan of chain restaurants but Im willing to make an exception for 5 guys. Â Simple concept executed well. Â Service is quick and prices are fair. Â Short menu of classic burger combinations. Â If you order fries you get a healthy serving (they even take this tin pan/bowl fill it up and drop it in the bag). Â It makes the bag all greasy so Im still not too sure what the significance of that is. Â The greasy bag seems to be a trademark or something because if you order online (which is very convient btw) there is this little greasy bag next to your total. Â They offer free peanuts while you wait for your food which is nice as long as your not allergic. Â All in all a good burger spot. Â Would have gotten 5 stars if they offered at least one burger that was out the box.
